OAHU HAWAII TRIP 2024 SERIES - Day 3 - Episode 3
Our second full day on the Island of Oahu Hawaii leads us to the east side of the Island for an adventurous day. First we have to leave Waikiki and head across the mountain range through the Wilson Tunnel and into the very green side of Oahu in Kaneohe. Our first stop of the day was in the Kualoa Valley at the Kualoa Ranch. Although there are plenty of different tours to take at the ranch including Horseback and Movie tours, we chose the UTV Ride Tour. Let me tell you, it was so much fun. It was about an Hour and a Half to Two Hours long. Made three very scenic stops along the valley, and got to do some off-roading through the forests and small creeks. Lots of fun. Definitely recommend.
Our second stop takes us down the street to Tropical Farms, which is a Macadamia Nut Farm. They have free samples of coffee (donations accepted), and free tasting samples of various types of macadamia nuts. They have some pretty good macadamia nut flavors. We enjoy a little time outside where Caleb provides a tutorial of cracking open a macadamia nut and feeding the resident chickens/birds. He definitely keeps the mood light.
Our third and final stop takes us to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We enjoy the remainder of the day spending it in the villages. We have a lot of fun playing with sticks and watching a drum show in the village of Tonga. We then continue on to the village of Aotearoa where the kids have so much fun playing two separate stick games and a poi twirling game. It was so much fun to watch and the kids really loved it. We then had dinner at the Gateway Buffet. The food was actually fairly good and had a huge selection of food including desserts. Definitely would return. We finished the night with their show - HA: Breath of Life. It was a fantastic show, and it was so awesome to see a woman doing the fire dancing, which we've never seen. She was so good. Enjoyed the whole show, but sadly couldn't video tape the show. It was a really long day but a great day.

This was a really long day, but an awesome day. The UTV Ride at Kualoa Ranch was so much fun. It was a lot more adventurous than sitting on one of the other tours. Really enjoyed our time at the ranch. Definitely recommend doing something at the ranch. The scenic views alone are so breathtaking. Next time we will probably try something else like horseback riding. Always enjoy stopping by the Macadamia Nut Farm to pick up a variety of macadamia nuts. We did enjoy our time at the Polynesian Cultural Center as well. The kids had lots of fun doing the various games and watching a couple shows. The buffet was surprisingly pretty good as well. Enjoyed the variety. The show - HA: Breath of Life was really good. Had lots of fun. Great day.

The ranch was beautiful! How can it be that was our first time there! Aunt Patty’s was delicious too! Such a long day! But great memories 😍
@@jenhaskill2343 Totally agree. How come it’s taken 4 visits to Oahu to finally check out the ranch. So glad we did. It seems like everyone enjoyed it. Aunt Patty’s was definitely better than we thought it would be. Didn’t have high expectations, but definitely got our attention. It was a great long day full of lots a good memories.
