I've been watching your videos for a while and can remember when April was tentative on jumps. Now she's saying "I love jumps" and looks like a pro rider! Congrats on the amazing progress!!! Looks like it was a super-fun event!
April, thanks for such a fresh video, I am here watching this with my 10 yrs daughter who is starting with the sport. Just today went shredding here in Mexico City and your content helps me learn some tricks for my kids. Keep the good work.
It was really nice to see you get this much fun, even more literrally coming from your technique videos from 3 years ago, when you were learning cornering. That's where I'm at at the moment (at the start, willing to improve) and it's very inspiring to see where you got to. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!
You’ve made such amazing progress in your skills the last few years! That’s what it’s all about🎉. Being able to explore new wonderful trails and be out in nature. Plus fill that cup of joy. You are a beautiful badass April! Nice to meet you in person at Sea Otter.
THAT turn on Twist and shout - just DAMN! I didn't stop and session, but tried at least half a dozen times this summer. Never was able to get up on those roots on the upper section! You ladies ROCK!
This looks like a dream! I need more girls trips/retreats/mtb in my life! My La Sal is getting delivered today! I hope to make it to this retreat next year! Thank you for the awesome video!
I just purchased a Fezzari King's Peak. I can honestly say the team at Fezzari are one of the best companies I have ever done business with. They are exceptional at customer service and I am so proud to own a Fezzari bike. I also love your channel and wish you continued growth and success.
That's awesome stuff. I remember Twist and Shout. Doing great on the tech. I love technical trails. Solve the puzzle. Nice and raw. Thanks for sharing! Aloha!
Great video as always, surprised Kyle didn’t try a wig and two balloons so he didn’t miss out. Looks like you had a great time riding some very nice trails.
Great video, you and Kyle are a prime example of a couple that works and ride together but also splitting off and riding with friends. I would love to have a partner that likes to Mt bike with me but also have the confidence to go solo or with friends. Thanks for all the videos!!
Thank you so much girls. I suffer from depression and your video has motivated me to call a friend and arrange a mountain bike trip. Nothing too spectacular, just on the local canal; 2x10 miles. Thanks 👊
That was an awesome video!! April, you are such a great rider! Very inspiring!! Thanks for talking about Fezzari! The Delano Peak might be my next bike!!
Such an awesome place it looks to me. I never rode a place like that and the day of such single track sure seemed to be amazing fun but also a workout including happiness. The channels looked to be a little challenging I wish those were more flowing I think and yet still so very awesome of a video of you ladies having such a fantastic time. I hope you each have amazing times ahead.
Looks like you ladies had a awesome time. Deer valley is some great riding. List service is always good change and a good way to get alot of miles in. I got to meet Ian at a nica race, he was very cool to talk to.
Three things: Great job! The wind noise at the beginning was fine, it actually added a more realistic sense of making one feel they were there. In ruts and off camber, the Magic Mary's edge knobs are so pronounced they have the tendency to grab and pull you up the sides. That is what I think caused your small crash on the so-called greasy trail. They are a great tire but that is one of the small down sides with them.
Thank you! From memory I know that I tried to go faster to catch up with addy and Dani and I got scared with my speed and thought I was going to blow the corner, so I panicked and purposefully layed it over haha
While Kyle is a great guy, he's such a good rider that there has to be a bit of "performance pressure" for you, April, when you are riding with him. I imagine riding with Stephanie and the other gals was some of the most relaxed and enjoyable riding you have ever done when creating a video. Great job on the video, by the way!
Thank you! I don’t think I usually get performance pressure from Kyle, I usually get it from myself and also for the video to hopefully be successful when we are doing tutorials.
I meant it was all self-imposed pressure, not that Kyle was putting any on you. He is an excellent teacher. By the way, your confidence while riding now is fantastic! It is manifesting itself in your current joy while riding which was very evident in this (and previous current videos). Very soon, you will be a teacher. Heck, you could be a teacher for a lot of us today. Keep up the great work!
Hi, it’s a 1up USA rack. You can customize it too which is awesome. We had it setup with 3 bikes when we went to whistler, we also added the light bar for extra safety.
Thank you! It’s a 1up bike rack. What’s cool is you can customize it how you like. When we went to whistler we had it with three bike slots and a hitch swing. I also have a tail light added to the rack for extra safety.
I realised, watching this, that I don't know any girl at all who likes mountainbiking to this degree ( .. or at all) on a personal level. Quite sad really, when I think of it. I hope April and her friends are an inspiration to all girls out there. Mountainbiking is not just a guy-thing. Having fun is universal.
Nice video April! I really enjoyed watching you girls at Deer Valley, as I have been there myself. By the way, would you share the names of the two black or tech trails you featured in the video? after the Deer Valley ones?
Funny, most people love jumping! 😂 for me I don’t know why but I enjoy climbing because I love the pain and I love it when I sweat as if I am taking a shower! It is really hard to see MTB that do 40-60 miles a day!
April here, I run a mullet on my purple La Sal. We like to run it on bikes that have more travel since I’m a shorter rider and can be more likely to hit the tire on bigger hits with more suspension.
This was fun. Fun friends, and also it was fun to see you ride trials I've done personally. I like park city! Why do you wear the full face helmets though, almost no one does normally, is it a sponsor thing? All the girls you were with had them, so maybe it's just a pretty thing, I don't have that burden.
Thank you! Whenever I ride park I see that most people wear full faces (not just women). The rule I go by is if I’m at a park, am strictly jumping or feel like I am going to get sendy then I put it on. If I don’t have to do heavy pedaling then I go for as much protection as possible, because your brain is your most important asset!
Yes but to be a little less cliche I got it before I was super into mtb haha it was my dream truck since I was young and I drove the same car for ten years saving all of my money to get it!
i got a '15 in great shape after seeing cost of new.. so yeah. wasnt my first color choice but it drives just the same ;) you guys plan to ride Sedona any time soon?
I've been watching your videos for a while and can remember when April was tentative on jumps. Now she's saying "I love jumps" and looks like a pro rider! Congrats on the amazing progress!!! Looks like it was a super-fun event!
Thank you!
I was just thinking that I remember when she was practicing going around flat turns! Great riding!
You should do more videos like this! Love seeing the ladies shred! 🔥
Thank you!
I love how absolutely positive and supportive your group is. So good to see.
Steph hasn't ridden in years. Also Steph: Rides way better than me. 🤣
It was so great being in that environment!
She has pedaled a lot and ridden trail, just not bike parks.
April, thanks for such a fresh video, I am here watching this with my 10 yrs daughter who is starting with the sport. Just today went shredding here in Mexico City and your content helps me learn some tricks for my kids. Keep the good work.
Minus the roots those trails looked amazing! Thank you
What an amazingly fun event. There was so much support & encouragement going on.
It was great!

Brilliant video, watching this makes you want to go out and hit the trails
I’m glad it makes you feel that way!

Loved the video, always fun when the girls get to riding and trying things out on our own.
This was so fun to watch! I've been watching your progress for years and you can be very proud of where you are now 🤗

Great video as always, surprised Kyle didn’t try a wig and two balloons so he didn’t miss out. Looks like you had a great time riding some very nice trails.
Haha it was such a fun riding trip, trails were so good and so much fun with just girls for once!
So great seeing you ladies out there having a blast!

Hi, it’s a 1up USA rack. You can customize it too which is awesome. We had it setup with 3 bikes when we went to whistler, we also added the light bar for extra safety.
@KyleAprilRideMTB oh ok thanks heaps hopefully I can get 1 to Aus it's the perfect rack
Congratz, sooo heavy improvement on your jumping skills. Would like to be as confident on jumplines ;)
Thank you!
Brilliant girl's gang 🔥🔥
Did y'all hit Moosehouse, on the Park City mtn side? That was so sketch for me! Slo-mo OTBd but fun
I don’t think we did, there were a lot of trails and I didn’t know all of their names!
Hi April, I’m glad to see you’re doing well. I have to ask how is Kyle doing? I really miss him.
Twist and shout is an awesome trail huh?!
All of the trails there are so fun!
That is an amazing hitch bike rack! Which one is that? Keep up the good work! Your videos are so much of a good vibe!
Thank you! It’s a 1up bike rack. What’s cool is you can customize it how you like. When we went to whistler we had it with three bike slots and a hitch swing. I also have a tail light added to the rack for extra safety.
my dream dream dream mountain bike
Good video, kind of a narrow FOV though, I think it looks better with a wider one

Bad ass ladies💪🏼
Nice video April! I really enjoyed watching you girls at Deer Valley, as I have been there myself. By the way, would you share the names of the two black or tech trails you featured in the video? after the Deer Valley ones?
Thank you! Sorry I don’t know the names of those trails, because I did not see any signs.
Nice riding! When will you do a video of you riding your motorcycle? I’ve heard stories of you riding the supercross track at fly
Here's a video of me riding the Fly track! ruclips.net/video/XwGBy_noEDo/видео.htmlsi=6QhSdKq-PITkMERz
Sick!
Tsunami was my first MTB experience and it’s awesome how smooth it is. That hooked me for MTB
Wow thats an awesome first experience!
did you film everything with the chin mount and with a dji action cam?
Yes I did
@@AprilRideMTB footage look very smooth 👍🏼
I will try it from that angle too.

I wish like enjoyed climbing more! But it’s all about adrenaline for me
Hi guys I forgot, can you do a review of full face helmet?
Hi Kyle & April, I love your content! Just a random question, what do you think about mullet? Thank you!
April here, I run a mullet on my purple La Sal. We like to run it on bikes that have more travel since I’m a shorter rider and can be more likely to hit the tire on bigger hits with more suspension.
No fear !
April you are doing so good, riding your as$ off!! That's awesome
Thank you!
i'm new to mountain biking. do i need a full face helmet?
