One of the great mysteries of the universe is how Henry Cho never became better appreciated - he has timing, structure, cadence, callback to match the greatest!
Wait, okay, hold on. I may sound dumb but I can't tell if he's alive or not from your conversation with the past tense nouns. I just found this guy again; please tell me that he is alive and well. 😮😅🫣 He's a hilarious, clean comedian, and I can't believe it took me this long to find him. I remember seeing him in a clip video a while back, but then I became obsessed with all things permaculture. 😂 I'm easily sidetracked.
This guy is a legend to aspiring comics. True legend. Every aspect of his act from beginning to end is genius. So clean. Much respect and love from mountain city tn 😂😂
First time I saw Mr. Henry Cho perform I literally fell out of my chair laughing! He was absolutely one of the funniest comedians I'd ever heard and from that point on was one of my top favorites! Thank you for sharing your sense of humor with us, sir!
Henry is one of the best, I don't have a problem with comedians who swear but comedians like Henry who work " clean " are refreshing and proof that you don't have to swear for shock value.
How have I lived this long and never come across Henry Cho? This guy is GREAT !! I'm looking up everything I can about him on the internet, and every act I've seen so far had me in stitches! Thank you Mr. Cho!!
I first saw him on a TV comedy show in the 80's. Comes out in bootleg jeans, flannel shirts and says, in a southern drawl, "How y'all doin'?" The crowd cracks with laughter. "You're probably asking yourself: There's something definitely wrong with with this picture?" The crowd hit the floor.
Henry is remarkable. I don't watch comedy because 99.99% can't keep nasty language out of their comedy. Henry is so awesome. Thank you for great, clean comedy! ❤
I hate to be That Person, but that one goes back to World War II. American GI's told it to depict what they saw as the mindless bureaucracy of the Armed Forces. The original joke from WWII was about a southern boy named RB Jones who enlisted, put down his name as R(only) B(only) Jones, and was called Ronly Bonly Jones for the rest of the war.
@@CrabbyOldLady I mean with a name like yours I kinda doubt that you hate being that person but hey live your peace lol. Specifically though I had Jonly Bonly on the brain for like 10 years at super random nonsense times. I'm sure there's lots of comedy that's just been adapted from old to new. For that matter I'm asking YOU who's on first. Thank you for the brief history lesson though, learning origins to things is neat
@@CrabbyOldLady Hey, I wasn't going to say anything, but yeah I read that in Reader's Digest "Humor In Uniform" back in the 60's. But like the man said, all humor is pretty much recycled, it's all in the delivery, and Henry is the absolute master.
@@markloveless1001 I'm so old that I actually heard it from the soldiers soon after the war. My father served in Europe during WW2. I was born a few years later. When I was small, whenever my dad's army buddies were visiting, it was guaranteed that one of them would tell the Ronly Bonly joke. It's been recycled so well that I've heard multiple modern day comedians including a version of it as part of their routine. And yes, Henry tells it better than most.
I'm American. I'd met a Canadian boy as a child, and we were penpals for years. Fast forward a couple of decades, and I met some Canadian arobatic pilots from the Snowbirds team while at a party in Carmel, California. I told them that I knew a Canadian, and they asked who that would be. I asked the flirtatious pilot if he knew all the Canadians in his country, to which he replied, no, but he still asked for my friend's name. I told him. He said he knew him! I said, sure you do! Ha! I gave him my address and told him to have his friend write me if he knew me. I knew the instant that I saw the penmanship on the envelope that it was a letter from my childhood friend!!!
I came across him on one of my feeds couple months ago and he makes me laugh out loud. He is so funny. I agree he should’ve gone further than what he’s gone but I’m just glad we get to see him now.
I think it was Henry Cho and I've tried to find it for years did Henry do a bit about selling corn at a roadside stand at his father's farm and he said his dad wanted him to yell corn and he said I'm not going to stand out here and yell corn dad and his dad said oh yesa you will yella corn mister his response, thats when i knew i had to find a different job
I have always thought he was great. My wife and I saw him when he was first starting out. He played a small show at West Virginia Tech. Got to talk with him after the show. What a great guy.
I have almost the same story, I knew who he was so when he came to Arkansas Tech I was thrilled to see him. I got to meet him after the show and he was so down to earth.
J-only B-only! I remember hearing that joke, years ago. Its still funny, because its so crazy, it could be true!? 😂 Henry is one of my all time favorive comics!
Not to humble brag, but one time my wife and I were flying first class. She was checking out the seat and all the buttons. She looked at one and asked me "What is Le Grest?". I said that's Legrest.
I had the pleasure of playing golf with Henry in a little tournament on Hilton Head Island several years ago. At the luncheon afterward I met his family….. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, and now I never miss a chance to hear him perform.
The joke about buying clothes is so accurate. I remember I bought 5 different articles of clothing for my wife for her birthday (with the intention being, "choose one") she returned all of them.
I just found him 2 months ago. I love his style of comedy. He cracks me up. I can relate to his experiences with people and how people talk to you when you are from abroad.
Man, my friend J B Collins got Jonly Bonly too! He wanted J period B period, but they said no punctuation, period! I'm in Sunbright, Tennessee, 70 miles NW of Knoxvegas, I only just discovered you. You represent well, my friend! Telling everyone I can to check out your comedy man, it's Great!!
Was waiting on the bus to go back to the apartment after eating breakfast in Itaewon one morning. Standing there with my Korean Girlfriend, two Mexican tourists come up and ask where the bustop is for the Yellow #3 Which goes to the top of Nam San. They don't ask me, they ask my girlfriend. She can not understand their accented English. So she freaks out and is trying to tell them she can not understand them.. I can't help them because I am laughing too hard.. "You had a 50% shot and you TOTALLY BLEW IT!" (Especially since being from San Diego, not only am I familiar with the accent I can speak a bit of Spanish!"
The best clean comic around! Sometimes i need a break from Carlin, Saget and Jeselnik! Dont get me wrong i love my dark comedy, but Henry is just super wholesome and funny
One of the great mysteries of the universe is how Henry Cho never became better appreciated - he has timing, structure, cadence, callback to match the greatest!
He kept family first. Instead of the career. He said it in an interview.
He's a very down to earth guy. I don't think he was willing to play the games the industry puts people through.

Well definitely thank you for appreciating him. He's awesome
I'm honored to call Henry Cho a long time personal friend. He's a gem on and off the stage.
We could all use a friend like him.

One of the best clean comics out there.
I agree 100%!
I agree too! He's great!
😊👍 I think I saw his skits on one of those competing comedian shows.
He thinks about it, Remember he got kids. His kids might see them.
I love how clean his shows are. I never use the four letters words.
I remember Jonley Bonley from years ago. Couldn't remember the comedian. One of the funniest things ever. His deadpan delivery is perfect.
That's one of my favorite routines too. He's hysterical
How have I lived this long and never come across Henry Cho? This guy is GREAT !! I'm looking up everything I can about him on the internet, and every act I've seen so far had me in stitches! Thank you Mr. Cho!!
WHY doesn't Henry Cho have a Netflix special, this guy is GOLD! Unlike other comedians on netflix, Henry makes me belly laugh!!! Best wishes Henry Cho
Because he doesn’t push their narrative. Thank goodness.
Henry proves something that I have been pointing out to others!
That intelligent comedians do not have to say foul four letter words to get a laugh!
I first saw him on a TV comedy show in the 80's. Comes out in bootleg jeans, flannel shirts and says, in a southern drawl,

"You're probably asking yourself: There's something definitely wrong with with this picture?"

I think I saw him on Designing Women. Short part but so funny. Picture him and Suzanne Sugarbaker on an airplane.

Me too. I never get tired watching the clips he never use the four words
I just found him today and now I’m gonna binge watch his videos on a Friday night ! lol

Years ago for me too. I remember it being a Jeff Foxworthy bit. Wonder if I'm going senile now....
I’ve been following him since the 80’s. 😊☺️😊 So happy he’s still around.
Oh my gosh best thing ever is Henry Cho using bless his heart correctly and with the right intention!❤❤❤❤
