MTG Foundations brings Core-sets back + make STANDARD into an ETERNAL FORMAT

Mtg Foundations was announced as part of MagicCon Amsterdam. The idea is to give a “core-set” that doesn’t rotate to Standard, so new players can experience the game:
One. Layer. Of. Complexity. At. A. Time.
Give new players vanilla versions of cards in standard - and wotc can put the reprints into Foundations - while increasing the complexity in draftable sets, and commander products.
Is the new player experience best in standard? Or does having 4 players give enough safety net for newer players?

I must have misread the 2023 changes to rotation while editing. It does say ONE rotates Q4 of 2025. Which is exactly one year with OmniTraxa😬
