I can hear the sound of Mokka spamming his strongest rock spell, dude managed to be the most overleveled in my run by the end...funny how the finale has him unusable is kinda punishing my reliance on him.
@@flatcapman just curious when did you find out about Magical Starsign? I found out about it when I was a kid from playing Super Smash Bros Brawl and Smash has gotten me into many underrated games that are awesome
I know the question isn't directed to me but personally, when I was a kid, I had one of those hacked cartriges in which you could install multiple games Magical Starsign was one of the games in it and it's probably the most interresting JRPG I played since then !
@@oelesp1429 No way that's the exact same as me hahaha, those cartridges with like 50 games on there and I just started playing this one and got super addicted to it
I've always thought this theme is similar to the one in Chrono Trigger: instead of having a really catchy melody that you'll end up hearing in your dreams after a thousand random encounters, it's more about the rhythm/tempo. I think it works well because it sets a mood without ever really getting annoying.
The older I got, the more I realized that Chard had a point. And the crooked Space Police thing was also on point to an unsettling level. Makes me feel like the "Hitler wasn't evil" meme 🥲
Honestly this game is a freak child of Earthbound (Brownie Brown did have a huge role in mother 3's development so it checks out), Early final fantasy (like the first entry i'm thinking) and Superstar Saga, and i love it and was so happy to be able to replay it recently.
oh man i can practically hear the party intro sounds
PSHIIII ! TUILILILILILI ! WHOOHOOHOOHOO ! EEEUH !
Pipipipipipi woooosh ping!

Really great game with an absolute amazing soundtrack of quality !! Loved it before and still love it now.
Too bad it was underrated
Awesome game, too bad not many people talk about it
its an under rated gem much like Grandia 2 in that way

It's really underrated, I'm glad my dad got this game for me when I was a kid holy damn this game was fun ngl
This game was my first ever RPG! I love it so much! It is hands down my favorite RPG! I wish more people knew about it.

I'm getting nostalgia from this
The normal mook enemies in this game are freaking weird and like something out of Earthbound, I love it.
Makes sense since the developers of mother 3 had a role in magical starsign
@@angrycinnabon2956 Really? Neat.
@@indumatipngtuber2790 Yeah, explains quite a few things, hell there's a blatant Mecha Draco reference on razen.
@@angrycinnabon2956 Cool.
I got this game in the UK and I have never loved JRPGS as strongly as I do now

i will never not hear that song at random times and secretly vibe to this

Making a D&D campaign based off this Games Setting
I love the idea of an astrology-themed game. Lucent Heart was an MMORPG and Monstar Galaxy I think was another
how did it go?

Awesome game
0:24 FOE theme from Etrian Odyssey?
even in magical starsign, FOE!
@@floatingbooks4058 I'd dread if F.O.E. will sneak into other RPGs.
