- The boss theme for Yo-kai Watch 3, sadly this song only plays once or twice in the game due to most bosses either having their own themes or being fought in Springdale with Hailey Anne. This version of the song is from the Official CD and contains a part that isn't heard in-game.

The games arent talked about anymore bcus after Yo-kai Watch 3, the series has been pretty much dead, the Official Twitter hasn't posted in a literal year, the 4th game was "Announced" to be working on being localized but nothing has come up from it since 2019, Hasbro stopped production of the toys, and the anime isn't airing/dubbing new episodes since the 3rd games release

I can tell you that that is so not true since you don't even fight other Yo-Kai Watch bearers in either of the games. Also, the music is a lot creepier and involves more dubstep than any of the Pokemon music. There are a million more things that I can tell to those who think the Yo-Kai Watch copies Pokemon since I played both games extensively, but I don't want to waste any of your time having to read this comment of mine.

This game is a massive part of my childhood and can't believe i just found out they made a fourth one (i haven't even gotten half way through the third one)
this game was part of my childhood in away too despite me playing the first game when i was only 15. Its a shame we are never getting the 4th game tho

This song is referred to as "Scrap Boss" internally, so I guess it really is meant to be Junkernaut's theme specifically. Would make sense, considering the clanking/smashing sounds.
Junketnaut was a really good first boss in my opinion! Not the hardest(obviously) but the attacks and gameplay was really fun! I also was so surprised to go the Medalluim and find that Junkernaut said his name!
Kinda glad they didn't just use this for Junkernaut. It's a too much of a banger to use on one boss.
The YK1 boss theme fit slimamander the most imo
The YK2 classic boss theme fit gutsy bones the most imo (all hail the bone king)
And this fits junkernaut too well, which i didnt realise was a mix betwee juggernaut, junk & astronaut ._.

I'm so perplexed why the west never gave Yokai watch a chance. I can't describe how good this 3rd part was. Gonna sell my copy so someone else can enjoy this masterpiece. So many memories made here, especially Blasters was really enjoyable, dammit
The reason? Poorly handled.
It’s been like 4 years and I still can’t get over that sound at the very beginning of the song, it’s so interesting and I love how menacing it sounds

So, is this what we got to? It all started as a little "Pokemon rip-off" to later be even better than Pokemon. And now, after 4 years of waiting for Yo-Kai Watch 4, the community got to a point where we got a team doing game translations. This really shows how much this community cares about the game. I really hope it comes back someday.

I do agree as in this game you can play both sides of the story without having to pay a single cent, whereas with the expansion passes in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you have to pay $60 JUST to play both sides of the expansion passes.

I absolutely love both yokai watch and miitopia those games where childhood classics they are both in my top 10 franchises

this franchise has some of the best bosses and Songs in all of gaming they never have a huge diffeculty spike yet they get the diffeculty always right and even tho the 3rd instalment Was way to easy they where my favorite bosses in the series same with the music man am i happy to have played all of these games :)

Smash Jibanyan Specials:
Neutral B, Paws of Fury:
Now you’re probably thinking, why wouldn’t this be his final smash, because it’s just a barrage of punches. Anyway, jibanyan will yawn for the start of the attack, leaving him open, and then pummel the opponent to do 25% it’s pretty much warlock punch but less startup time and less knockback and would kill at 80-90%
Side B, Burn:
This is straight out of blasters, Jibanyan will dance in place and start charging and rays of purple will appear around him. Charging it a little makes it Fire, a weak spell that does 7% and will make the target flinch a little like Jokers Eiha leading into combos. however, charging the move will make the move become blaze, a powerful projectile that launches and does around 20%. But just like in blasters, this move will appear from below you, so you can’t counter or reflect it, and it will also home on the target and will appear in the last position the target was when Jibanyan did the attack, you can roll and air dodge out of the way of the attack but will leave you vulnerable
Down B, can be changed, Blasters inventory:
Ok this one is a stretch but it’s the only thing I could think of other than an inspirit. Jibanyan can use 4 items from blasters.
1. Rice Ball
Plain and simple, it will heal you
2. Signibuzz Trap
A trap you place on the floor and if a target steps in it they will be stunned like in ZSamus Neutral B, it’s kinda obvious to see, so you might only use it for stage control
3. Blazion Bomb, you put this on the floor after like 3-5 second it explodes and does 15-25%
4. Blasters gun
This gun is like a really small Samus final smash that only reaches for half of battlefield. It does 15%
(maybe) 5. Nul Field
This one will make you invisible for 10 seconds, you could definitely use this time to place a trap
(Maybe) 6. Getaway Plush
Ok this one is just funny to me, you throw it at the opponent and it just is like Diddys Banana and keeps them in place for a second leading into combos or just stopping a recovery, it’ll only do 1% but it’s still funny to me.
his soultimate could be Victory! definitely fitting considering the name

His Final Smash would be Paws of Fury, because Joker’s is All Out Attack, and that’s basically a Persona version of Paws of Fury.

It's sad that such charming games with wonderful music fell off from people's minds.
Imo theese games have a lot more soul and quality than the recent pokemon games yet somehow it lost traction in the West... but why im not sure:
Was it the lack of advertising for the third game? Im not sure if that's the cause or just the product of something worse.
Is pokemon's influence the reason? Most probably but im not sure either.
Maybe the lack of atention on the second games started the downward roallercoaster? Maybe this is the reason as the game as first glance didn't seem very different from the first one on a superficial sense. The marketing and publicity I've seen doesn't make much effort to tell or show us the new stuff the game brings and just says that this game exists.
Maybe if a Yo-Kai Watch character made it into Smash then people would start to pay atention to this nice franchise.

It's mostly Pokemon's influence; most people in the west dismissed YKW as a knock-off of Pokemon.
