I'm loving everything about this series Gentlemen. The videography, the commentary, the music, all your best work so far in my opinion. Being a father of a young teen its heart warming to see you two enjoying this adventure together.
Lovely to see you guys in my home town of Shivamogga. Small correction - That is not "Poo", it is the outer fiber of areca nut after it is harvested, they usually dry them or decompose them for manure. Animal screams that you usually hear near the forest are peacocks, if you are lucky you'll see their mating dance. The dwarf cows are called Malnad Gidda, very rare ancient and aboriginal A2 Breed Cow of the Indian hilly areas. l loved the journey so far, i'll wait to see where you guys go next!!
I love that from watching this video, this will probably encourage and give confidence to thousands of people to visit India. From Ireland, I've visited 5 times and drove an Enfield over 10,000km, in the Himalayas, around Goa and Maharashtra and in the hills of South India. Good work lads!! Just go for it! 😊
You said it. Most people don't properly maintain a machine and when something breaks they blame it on the machine. If you take proper care of them they are going to perform better for longer.
Those elephant are very important to control conflict between people and wild elephants. they are known as kumki elephant they are used to repel wild elephant without harming them.
Elephants are treated with reverence here in India, but yes there are places where they are treated badly. Rescued elephants are chained for everyone's safety, sometimes they can go berserk and that's good for nobody, they are massively powerful creatures (have you seen videos of them choke slamming rickshaws and other vehicles?). I love this tour you guys are doing, hope you guys get to ride to Kerala in the package. Keep powering through and don't forget to do your backstretch exercises Mr. Darcy
Kodachadri base point looks exactly like my ancestral property. Those areca plantations, paddy fields, the red mud roads, the natural streams and greenery everywhere. It was nostalgic to watch. Sometime I still wonder was it worth it moving to big cities, but end of the day its all about economics. You guys are enjoying every bit of your time in India. Let the great videos of your journey keep coming. All the very best.
Best Places to ride in India are Penukonda Fort , Maravanthe Beach Road NH 66 , Munnar Gap Road, Ratnagiri to Ganpatipule Coastal Highway, Yercaud Hill Road, Kondaveedu Fort Road, Mumbai to Pune Expressway , Chennai to Pondicherry road, Yamuna Expressway, Bangalore to Pune Highway, Ahmedabad to Surat Road , Madurai to Bangalore via Karur road , Zuluk in East Sikkim, Patratu Valley , Jispa to Keylong road, Kolli Hills in Tamil Nadu, Lavasa Road, Belgaum to Goa, Gudalur to Ooty, Pawan Dam roads near Lonavala, Manali to Leh Ladakh , Khab Sangam Old Silk Route Road etc.
9:15 the cows are called 'Malenadu Gidda' in the native language of Kannada. Malenadu is the region you are travelling through meaning 'The land of hills' or 'The land of rain' (because it is a tropical forest which receives very heavy rain). 'Gidda' is one of the Kannada synonyms for tiny.

Those cows are best adapted to the weather and hilly terrain of the western ghats there. They are also disease resistant and hardy. Other cows don’t survive there. They are all free range eating off the nutritious forest vegetation.
Guys you have to be careful in India by riding with all safety equipments and always planning your turn because traffic is very unpredictable here stay safe✌️
Thanks for having an open mind and positive attitude throughout your ventures across India unlike some other outsiders, I know you guys have experinced some beautiful and terrible sights in your journey we will gladly accept any criticism as we are already aware of the things that you might think hurt the feelings of us fellow indians if you open it up. Post monsoon, there is not much water flow to the waterfalls. The forests while still green are also dusty and so is much of Indian landscape. It becomes lush green with thousands of waterfalls everywhere in monsoon and the entire countryside in India is a green paradise for 5 months a year.
