Cool you are Canadian it sounds good i live in ont Canada use to have a lot of mopars over the years so I’m a mopar fan love a body’s good times I was gonna say 11s that’s a good little small block you got ther
That car is great! You might benefit from a looser stall, but you should really test some different launch Rpms. The 4,500 stall in my 72 swinger does best launching around 2,000 rpm. That will allow the converter to flash, and help with weight transfer and reaction times. Every converter flashes differently in different builds. If you put the car in third at a slow roll and mat the gas, that will tell you what the converter actually stalls at. Then when you footbrake it, try about 1,500-2,000 rpm less than that. If that’s not an option, simply launch at the amount of Rpms required for the engine idle to smooth out. These two options should work with either converter. Good luck 👍🏼
Ya but what I know from dyno this current converter was way to low. It did change from previous motor to the new build and added 500 rpm b not nearly enough. Thanks for watching! Subscribe to not miss my next video.

Great video, thanks for sharing! I had a good paragraph typed out but when I clicked the comment button it only posted the first sentence & a half. Anyways, I was wondering if the torque peak is where you want it to hit coming off the line & the HP to push it further down the track. Just curious, what tire pressure you were running & did you play around with them to if made a difference? Best wishes with your new converter! Stay safe & healthy out there!
1/8 mile tracks are so incredibly boring to watch.
Cars sounds sick !! Making moves in the right direction is always rewarding. I'm sure the 4500 stall will pick it up quite a bit.
I think it will make a big difference and Thanks for watching! Subscribe to not miss my next video.
500 hp will run high 10's in the quarter in a light car, low 11's in a heavy.
Yep when everything is correct. Just gotta get the right converter. And prob like 456 gears. Thanks for watching
"BUMP" for views,, Hey is that a 9" Rear and how is it built ?
Nope it’s a Mopar 8 3/4. Similar style to a ford 9 with the Center carrier, Thanks for watching! Subscribe to not miss my next video.
Your channel audio is very low!…

Looks like a horrible drag strip
Sorry be negative that strip just looks dangerous, not much room for error
It looks worse on camera that it is in real life. Thanks for watching. More on the channel other vids have out of car camera you’ll see it’s not too bad
