Brought to you by Folksywig and GuitarthVader, we present a FULLY PLAYABLE Tobey Maguire head for Marvel's Spider-Man PC! Finally. This has been my dream for literal YEARS. Now we have it. Also included in this showcase is my remake of GuitarthVader's 2002 suit (Imperfect and Damaged versions) which will release within next week. DISCLAIMER - I am aware that it doesn't 100% look like Tobey at times. This is due to the motion capture animations of Yuri Lowenthal's performance. Sadly we modders can't do much about that regard. Big thanks to my brother Folksywig choosing to work with me on this endeavor. We are so happy with how it turned out, and will keep updating to improve it wherever we see that more can be done. I rewatched TASM1 and 2 with them on Netflix and seeing how much this game was inspired by those movies really makes me agree. Not gonna shove my opinions on best Spidey down anyone's throat tho🙄
I didn’t even think this was possible, I’ve see other mods that have tried to do this but there are no facial animations. But you did it. You actually fucking did it.
I've felt an incredible amount of intensity in the Doc Ock fight that I haven't felt in a Spider-Man media since the Raimi movies. The suit and the face made it 100% better than the original and it just felt like I was a child watching Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and falling in love with the character.
Love how experienced and somewhat older Tobey's Face Model looks on the original. Yes, the voices are different but Yuri's voice is perfect. *It fits with Tobey's emotion and personality! Awesome. /imo* Otherwise, you've got nothing to change. This doesn't even feel like a Mod sometimes. It's so impressive! THANKS, MY GUY!
With how good AI voices are getting, literally singing songs and stuff, surely we can mod all the faces and swap the audio voice files with AI renditions of the Raimi actors to get basically a full Tobey Maguire game with Alfred Molina, Kirsten Dunst, the whole lot

I love you’re using the 2002 suit. I still think it’s the best live action suit we’ve gotten, with TASM2 being a close seeing. Also Peter having glasses at 9:22 was a great touch. As well as the lack of web shooters. I can’t imagine the effort this took but 10/10 to both of you. Amazing work!!

Look, I love this. I'm so glad this exists, and I could never make something like this myself. Having said that, though, this definitely needs some work. At times it kinda looks like Tobey but most of the time it just looks off. I say this out of pure love for this project
Man this is freaking awesome. I dunno if anyone has asked this already, but could this be possible with Arkham Knight and the movie suits? Christian Bale face with groggy voice? Or maybe Batfleck with the BvS suit and voice?
if you ever make more you gotta make Alfred Molina or maybe even Kirsten Dunst next. I'd say a Willem Defoe mod would be perfect but we don't see norman that often, but then again that could mean it'd be a little easier
For the opening song how about some early 2000s alternative emo rock. That genre was massive during the Spider-Trilogy run. Simple Plan's "I'm just a kid" fits right in with this Spidey since he gets his shit kicked in for most of the trilogy.

This makes me realise that this game vould work as a sequel to the og trilogy, just with some things tweaked. 1. The main villian that Peter was working for beforehand is Dr Connors/ The Lizard instead of Doc Ock because of SM2. 2. The story would be set in 2010 the would be 8th year of Tobey's Spider-Man career. 3. The villians in the trilogy can't be used again. 4. Harry is dead in the Ramiverse 5. MJ and Peter break up again because MJ wants to not have to be saved all the time. Her acting career would have to fail so she joins the Bugle while Peter quits to work with Connors after passing college. 6. The Sinister Six villians can easily be explained as having debuted in the many unexplored gaps between movies and this. 7. Perhaps the Mayor is Kingpin and perhaps the villian you beat at the start eould be Tombstone or something. 8. May could very easily slot into her game role in FEAST.

It may be too complicated. The easiest way would probably by changing her hairstyle. But the face itself, while possible, would take forever to remake.
I gotta be honest, this is what I'm hoping can happen with mods and AI for the future of gaming. I know it's against what developers intend, but imagine being able to have Tobey's face and all the dialogue deepfaked to have his voice. Then MJ, Doc, Norman, that would be a wish come true.

In terms of plot Doc Ock and Peter's relationship was far better than anything in Spider-Man 2
