Just a warning to anyone who is acne prone - this foundation has coconut alkanes as the 2nd ingredient, which can potentially be very pore clogging. Total sadness about that since a lot of green products contain some kind of coconut oil. I would love to try this foundation, but one whiff of coconut and I break out! Really appreciate how much time and effort you put into 15 days of foundation - absolutely love watching these!

Why do people always say they wouldn't wear a lighter coverage foundation with a full face of makeup? My dry, can't handle anything higher than medium coverage before it looks like hell. But I still will go full Glam with even a bb cream if I feel like it. But even if I could wear full coverage I don't like the look of full coverage foundations but I do pretty Glam makeup every day.

Ilia actually suggests using finger tips to blend this. I quite like it but I think it's best suited to those heading into 30/40s and beyond. Ilia also says to let it dry before building coverage. I personally love it.

Mastic - (if that’s what you said- my ears hurt today)... is the resin from a tree found on the Greek Island of Chios. We use it in baking, and it’s in a lot of Greek skincare (marketed as an anti aging ingredient) - the scent you smell during application is probably mastic, since it is very aromatic.
I want to run out and buy that lip product right away! Looks like the perfect nude color I’ve been searching for. Another great review, thank you for all your hard work. 🦄🦋 Love being part of your baeritto fam.
I also break out pretty bad when I just straight up use jojoba oil, but I find that it works well with my skin when it's infused with other ingredients. For example, I use Pixi's Rose Blend Oil which has jojoba oil in it, but the other oils in it make it work for my skin. :)

Mastic is a resin from the mastic tree which is located in Chios island in Greece, it's edible and used a lot in our cooking and you can also chew the droplets, it's got a very... unique taste, lol! Most Greeks like it because we're accustomed to its flavour but foreigners usually take some time to get used to it :) EDIT: the bitter scent may be the mastic, it has a sort of pine/tree type of bitterness but it gets sweeter as you chew, so it might be the source of the smell

I started an acne cream a few months ago and my skin went from oily to bone dry!! I’ve been having such a hard time finding a foundation that doesn’t make my skin look flaky af. The timing for this is perfect and the fact that you also have dry skin now makes me feel like I can go off your recommendations even more!!
I've had these closed bumps on my chin since I was a teen (now 29). I've never known what they where till I Googled closed comedones after watching this video. I've heard u mention milia before and after googling it I thought it was somewhat similar to what I have on my chin but not really. I can pop the small bumps and its almost like a blackhead without the blackhead. 😂 if I don't get all the gunk out after popping it it turns into a pimple. I definitely have closed comedones! Thank you! I now have a name for the type of acne I have! Thank you!
You can always add your own oils, moisturizers, etc to any foundation (depending on skincare needs and foundation formulation). I love the idea of a DIY cushion foundation, makes it easy to mix your "ingredients" and apply on the go too.

I've had these closed bumps on my chin since I was a teen (now 29). I've never known what they where till I Googled closed comedones after watching this video. I've heard u mention milia before and after googling it I thought it was somewhat similar to what I have on my chin but not really. I can pop the small bumps and its almost like a blackhead without the blackhead. 😂 if I don't get all the gunk out after popping it it turns into a pimple. I definitely have closed comedones! Thank you! I now have a name for the type of acne I have! Thank you!

You can always add your own oils, moisturizers, etc to any foundation (depending on skincare needs and foundation formulation). I love the idea of a DIY cushion foundation, makes it easy to mix your "ingredients" and apply on the go too.
