To clarify, KW offers three levels when purchasing their products: 1) the product in the metal packaging, 2) the product in the red cardboard, and 3) just the refills. Each has its own pricing. The metal packaging is meant to last forever. The red cardboard for a few refills. And the refills can also be placed in any other magnetized palette. You decide which system you want to go with and then just purchase the refills after - reducing the waste of excess packaging.

Thank you for this info! I was getting wary with them switching to cheap cardboard but still keeping their high pricing. That’s good they offer the different options, with price to reflect each tier. :)

Plus, the red packaging is meant to be helpful for on the go! New black packaging just launched and gorgeous! By far, this brand has the most beautiful packaging options. No wonder her package design is award-winning!!!
I was just going to clarify the same thing lol. Yep kjaer weis doesn't encourage u to get rid of their packaging just recycle the refills. Thanks for doing the clarification for me lol.
I would really love to see you try Cheekbone Beauty!! They are an Indigenous-owned brand with a big focus on sustainability. I have my eye on their Sustain lipsticks (the shade Keyah in particular) and so many of their lip gloss shades - Agave, Birch, Sundance and Sweetgrass!

I really love Supergoop! Glowscreen primer. It gives me a beautiful glow, protects my skin from the sun, and doesn’t cover my freckles.
I love how that foundation looks on your face, it’s so velvety but natural, amazing! But as I am sucker for all tiny cute stuff, loved the metal packaging for the shadow, omg the cutest! And I gotta admit, the red just doesn’t do the job as much as the old one..

I thought the cream bronzer looked really interesting. But, they only have two shades on their website so i think i'll pass on the brand all together. Hopefully they'll have more shades in ALL their complexion products soon and then maybe i can try. :)

I have the blush in blossoming-love it. The refills are still pricey, but definitely cheaper-and you can just buy refills and put them in a Z palette or something like that.

Darya Tereshchenko I like it a lot. It’s very pigmented but it sheers out nicely. I’m fair skinned but Embrace looked too light/milky for me (but I only looked at the swatches on the KW site.)

Okay so the base products look PHENOMENAL, but also your skin looks hella good right now. I was thinking about how cute the lil tiny eyeshadows were and then you took the thoughts out of my head and said them out loud. Love what they’ve done with their packaging and I hope more brands can take inspiration from that.

Heyyy Beauty! Always love your videos, especially on my big tv screen! I know you tried Beautycounter's tint skin foundation a while back. What do you think if it's replacement- Skin Twin? It has 9x more hyaluronic acid in the foundation. I'm curious if it's something you'd like? 🤔 I feel like it has great coverage, flawless finish and a dewy look. I think it feels lighter than RMS beauty, another nice brand. Let us know. 😊

Allana Davison been wanting to transition to clean beauty and KW has the best ingredients but are also the most expensive. Been waiting for your review to know if it’s worth it or not ❤️
I don’t want to be a negative Nancy, but for the sake of spreading information I’d like to add that Kjaer Weis just had a scandal with the release of the concealer because there are huge gaps in the darker shades, so it looks like it’s more inclusive than it really is.
Thank you for pointing this out! I was just about to comment this, but decided to check first. The whole time I was watching the base section of the video I was like "really?" There are such huge gaps in the shade range...
Well in all fairness there is a gap in the lighter shades as well. There are gaps throughout the entire concealer line, not just in the darker shades. I’m pretty fair, but there is a fairly big jump between F110 & F120 (the two lightest shades). I work in the clean beauty industry and have trained with some of the top makeup companies and unfortunately it is harder to formulate pigments in the clean beauty world vs conventional makeup. I know that Kjaer Weis is continually working to add shades to their cosmetics, they are not intentionally trying to exclude skin tones.

I'm a little confused. You recently said that you wanted to do better and not continue to support brands that do not cater to all skin tones, and now having 12 shades is "better than other clean beauty brands"? I mean, you are right, it is better than most of their competitors, but it's still bad. They have *two* bronzer shades. I'm just confused about why you decided to do a video on a brand that you said you wouldn't want to keep supporting..

You might like the ILIA mascara a lot better than Kjaer Weis mascara. It's a "clean" beauty mascara. Also, if you are looking for more "clean" beauty brands to try, I would LOVE for you to do a full face of ILIA. I don't think you will regret it. Great foundation, concealer, cream blush, lipsticks. You might even like their powder bronzer and powder highlighter. (No I don't work for ILIA.) I LOVE Kjaer Weis also (great cream blush and highlighters).

I've always wanted to try this brand, but from what I remember they use coconut oil in their foundation 🤔 I'll have to check again, cause my skin reacts horribly to anything coconut 😪

Kjaer Weis does have a foundation primer, it’s their Beautiful Oil. They actually don’t recommend using their foundation without first priming with the beautiful oil. It is supposed to help the foundation apply more smoothly and add a healthy glow to the skin.
Pretty disappointed in the amount of shades- 16 and 12 isn’t acceptable anymore in the beauty industry in terms of inclusivity. I know you previously mentioned holding yourself accountable with brands with limited shade ranges.... even though this brand is beautiful and luxurious the shades definitely skew to benefit lighter skin tones. I love your content but I’m watching to see if you begin to really transition to stop using or promoting brands that don’t hold up to the standard we expect in terms of inclusivity and shade range.
