Every single day I'm shocked by how clear and beautiful your skin is compared to before Accutane. I shouldn't be shocked but what a huge difference. I remember being thrilled each and every day I had clear skin. You look wonderful.
Ok, so here's the skinny with the no7 : this is my #1 most used foundation. I always have a backup on hand. Always. For 2 reasons. #1 = it's my ULTIMATE perfect shade and I'm a tricky shade, so I bring it with me to buy new foundations to compare to this shade(it gets swatched a ton) and its saved me so much hassle. Mine is warm beige. #2= this is my perfect mixer.! Any foundation that needs more 'dew' or moisture, I add this. If the shade is just a little 'off', I add this. If I want to wear a powder foundation , I put this down first (perfect sticky base), if I want to lighten up the coverage a bit, I add this. This mixes perfectly with other foundations without making them finicky!! *Best combos are with milani conceal and perfect, clinique beyond perfecting, the other no7 foundation, but especially the milani! This is basically a cheaper version of the Dr.jart bb cream that I love... without as much spf and slightly less dew. I have alot of scars to cover, want some glow, I'm 37 so no cake face please, and need it to last a 12 hour double shift. This has made it to my top 3 and that shits hard.
I am so sad we’re already 2/3 through this season of 15DoF. I love my daily dose of Taylor! And so appreciate the immense amount of work you put in to bring up this series!!!
For those interested in cruelty free, you’ll be happy to hear that No. 7 is cruelty free and owned by Boots pharmacy (a huge chain in the UK where testing is prohibited). I remembering researching it before so thought I’d pass that info on. Botanicals is also another Boots brand which is now carried at Ulta.
My kids have been sick for a week and a half and every night when I crawl into bed, exhausted, I’ve been able to know there’s a good video on every night! Last night I came down with it and it’s so nice to know I get to see your face! A nice treat to a bad day! Loving this season!
I absolutely love this foundation! Very natural coverage but improved my skin so much! And doesnt break me out like almost every other foundation... So glad you finally tried this foundation! Thank you!
Boots No. 7 Lift & Luminate is one of my favorite foundations! I have dehydrated skin in the winter, and I can count on this foundation not to suck the moisture out of my skin throughout the day. So many other foundations look dry and crumbly after 10 hours of wear.
I use this foundation every day, it’s my holy grail for dry sensitive skin. I prime my skin, use sponge to apply the foundation and set my face with either the Laura Gellar powder or MAC Mineralize Skin Finish and it lasts all day! 😊
As a fellow pale girl and a loyal No 7 foundation wearer for the past 4 years, I can tell you that No 7's lightest shade is normally Calico, as that's what I got back when I got shade matched! Unsure if the shades are different in the US though. Anyway, another great video! I love 15DOF so much!
I did porcelain (I have a heart condition which makes me even more pale that I am already and I get blue) and it is lighter than calico. Or at least warmer, I went with porcelain over calico, because calico was too warm for my skin
@@The_Great_Depression I appreciate you replying but idk if you noticed that my original comment was from nearly 6 years ago, Calico WAS the lightest shade in No 7's UK range back then 😂 I'm glad to hear they changed the shade range to make it more inclusive on both ends of the spectrum! It's just a shame they altered the ingredients/consistency and made it unwearable for a lot of people. But it is what it is 🤷🏼♀️
I use this foundation often. I have extremely dry skin and it sets well. Using powder to set always looks cakey on my skin. Using alone will stay on my all day. BTW I love this foundation series!
If you use setting spray it works really nicely! I just powder my t zone and cheeks, and set it, and it looks nice! I like it because I have a lot of texture and it doesn't emphasize it.
It’s so amazing seeing how beautiful your skin has become in each video! I’m shocked every time I watch a video your skin looks more amazing!!! I’m so happy for you
I use this exact shade Foundation and I put half a pump of this Foundation mixed in with half a pump of the No 7 Beautifully Matte foundation in Calico to make it a little bit more of a neutral undertone. Doing that also makes it a little bit more of a medium to full coverage Foundation that sits on the skin as a demi matte finish. I only set in the areas that are going to be most oily like my forehead and chin.
I work for No7 here in the U.K. So I have tried them all, I like L&L but I can't get jt to last long on me! The Beautifully Matte is a gorgeous foundation but can be drying, but great coverage. They do a "Stay Perfet" range which is also good! Great review !
Your skin has improved so much! Kudos to you for trying and sticking with Accutane. I’ve been curious about No7. Thanks for trying this one out. Looks very nice! I do like the more dramatic eyes. Beautiful!!!!
I use the fit me powder with this foundation amd use my beauty sponge to apply it. Not in the typical baking way put tapping some into the lid, using the sponge to pick up some product, then tapping excess on back of my hand, and then applying it in rolling motions like a cushion foundation. It gives the most long lasting and skin like finish.
I absolutely love no7 foundation, i have really oily prone skin and their Beautifully Matte Light foundation is perfect for me. also you can get a foundation match made to your skin, if you go in store and ask it is worth doing
This whole makeup look and outfit is totally throwing me back into the holiday season! LOL. I already ordered the Flower Beauty Light Illusion foundation right after you reviewed it and LOVED it! LOL. Along with a few more of the essence Eyeshadows in snowflake and apricotta... because, let's face it, those still make BOMB highlights for Pale Princesses! 👸🏻😍 I gotta say... I've actually been really loving you having dryer skin lately! Because now I can benefit from more than just the shade range that you use! 😉
I really love the orange eye look! I actually loved it more without the falsies, I think cause you could see more of the orange and it really brings out your eyes.
Was two videos behind (last week before Spring Break + multiple insanities in the county=exhausted teacher) and finished both at 8:58, which was frikin' perfect. Super excited to watch this in real time for once. When you do the wrap up video (if you haven't already filmed), would you consider inserting swatches of all the foundations in natural lighting? The studio lighting is so bright that they all look lighter on camera than they ever would in real life, making it hard to figure out which ones would REALLY work in real life. Also thought I had during the last video: I'm pretty sure the objection that you're monotone in your videos comes in comparison to the super over-the-top-chipper ads and reviews we're used to seeing, in the same way that any time a woman isn't smiling, she's automatically assumed to be mad about something. These videos are honestly incredibly relaxing to watch, I get the information I want without feeling exhausted at the end. #smash
I love her style I don’t think she’s overly monotone but maybe it’s because I am slightly monotone myself. I agree that it’s nice to not feel like you’re exhausted at the end of the videos.
I have oily/combo skin and I still love this foundation. I'm your skin tone (maybe a hair or two darker) and I use Cool Vanilla. Although the shade is darker than my neck, the shade brings life to my face like you said. All I have to do is set it with powder and it lasts all day long. Keep up the good work, Taylor!
I've worn this foundation now for about 6 months and I really like it.... But do wish there was a lighter shade than cool vanilla! I have very dry skin with Rosacea and this foundation seems to sit pretty well on my skin. It does slightly crease around my mouth but not bad at all. Thanks for the review!
So glad you finally used this :)! I have oily skin, but weirdly flaky/dry too. Foundations just cling to my skin, but this No7 I tried bc KathleenLights recommended it and I also recommend it. I just use a pore filling primer and a brush (no beauty blender with this one). I apply it and my skin looks healthy, plump and my red is gone. Toned down imperfections peak through a bit, but that's what helps make it look so naturally beautiful. a LITTLE goes a long way. Nice natural looking healthy skin foundation. Excited to see how you'll end up liking it the more you try it :)
No 7 Stay Perfect is pretty amazing too if you haven’t tried that one yet. It’s more matte but isn’t dry and crusty matte... I have pretty dry skin and it stays looking nice. I like it way more than all other higher coverage foundations.... high end or otherwise.
I'm glad you're doing a review on this foundation. I discovered this about a year ago. I am 59 with dry, mature skin, and I use warm ivory. I love the finish of this foundation, but I have to mix it with something, usually born this way in porcelain or warm nude, to give it a little more coverage and to also give it some more warmth. I find it to be very gray in undertone even though it calls itself warm. And I apply it with my fingers, which I think works better than either a brush or sponge.
This foundation is one of my favorites. I’ve used it for about a year now and it’s my go to!! I apply mine with the L’Oréal sponge and have never had an issue with it soaking up the product. I do lightly set mine and mine will last 10+ hours. Only spot that breaks up some on me is my nose and it’s from wearing my glasses. No matter which foundation I use it never stays where my glasses sit on my nose. Definitely try this foundation with a different setting powder.
I love watching your videos. I’m on the hunt for a really good foundation right now. I have normal to dry skin. By the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what type of foundation I use, all of my lines and pores are on full display.
This is one of my favorite foundations!! It makes your skin look youthful &so glowly✨ It works great with the No7 compact powder for setting if you wanna try that!! LOVE YOU TAYLOR🖤
I'm enjoying the high-end and drug store alternating, drug store is my price range. I'm also liking that this is for more dry skin as I have mature dry skin. You are rocking it. Have a fab day 😊💜😊
I haven't heard anything about this foundation but I heard that the no. 7 stay perfect and the no.7 beautifully matte were both good foundations. Loved your eye look in this one 😊
I have used this with the clinique beyond perfect foundation. It gave it a really pretty finish and lasted a long time on my skin. Xoxo from Victorville California!!! 😘
I'd be interested in seeing Taylor try the Eldridge technique sometime - lighter coverage foundation, and using a very small amount of concealer to spot conceal. Building up a medium foundation to full coverage is almost always going to look cakey and thick to me, no matter how good the foundation is.
I love this foundation but I agree needs help. What I have found to help it look much better is mixing it with the Wet 'n' Wild photo focus foundation. I really enjoy that combo along with a light dusting of Mabelline fit me pressed powder. That is my favorite combo for this foundation for my skin. Which is combo. Oily in t-zone and super dry everywhere else.
You can get much better coverage with a sponge if you dot the foundation all over first then go in with the sponge. This is one of my favorite foundations of all time. I've tried like 3 No. 7 foundations and have liked them all. They seem to make good base products. I can't believe this hasn't worked out for you I never Powder it and it always looks so beautiful on my dry, textured, mature skin.
I found that applying this foundation with my hands gives the best result. I literally apply it like moisturizer. I think it works best with cream products and just setting the under eye. Other than that. It's a great mixer. It gives matte foundation a nice dew. Weirdly enough, I really like putting a couple dots of this on my face and then dip my BB into the Wet and Wild cushion foundation and blend it out.
I have this and I like to mix it with medium to full coverage matte foundations to make them a little more hydrating. It also makes the finish appear more skin like for me! It helped out a lot during the winter when my skin felt dry and I still wanted to be somewhat mattified.
I mix this foundation with the NYX total control foundation and apply with a beauty blender and I think that combo looks great. Still need to set with a powder and I finish with mac fix plus but I used this combo for the last couple of performances I was in (I'm a professional ballet dancer) and I liked it a lot.
I’ve really been enjoying this series! Just a thought: The Laura Gellar is a baked powder foundation, so it tends to sit heavy on top of liquid foundations. I’ve been using it since 2009 & it’s always been mixed results when I’ve used it on top of liquids. It can really change the look of other foundations since it’s a medium buildable coverage powder foundation. I’m interested to see how you like this No7 foundation w/out the powder foundation on top. Thank you for all your hard work on this helpful series!
I have that exact same pallette by delanci called nocturnal but the shades are laid out slightly different and I freaking love it and the packaging is so much cuter
OMG that eye look is amazing...if I tried that I would look like my allergies were taking over..I'm loving the series...ordered 2 shirts yesterday..I'm telling everyone that I know they need a t-shirt
Your makeup, hair and shirt combo is giving me major fall vibes and I'm loving it! I'd take fall over any other season! 🍁 you look gorgeous as always! 💜
also, maybe for different powder combinations KathleenLights loves this foundation and uses the wet + wild photo focus pressed powder or the Cover FX Loose Setting Powder or the NYC Smooth Skin Loose Translucent Setting Powder to set it a little - maybe that would work a wee bit better xxx
I have the same foundation in cool vanilla too! I felt like it wasn’t working for me so I left it in my vanity but I always only used sponge with it. Will definitely try using a brush :) thank you!!
I watch you on and off so I haven’t watched the gradual change of your skin but it is honestly looking phenomenal lately! I’m glad you found something that works for you!
I'm a no7 advisor here in the UK and I'm so surprised that you don't have the new lift and luminate at walgreens (it's in the frosted pump bottle and it's got the anti aging serum in it), try using this foundation with the no7 airbrush away powder! It's super lightweight so you'll find it won't cling to any texture or anything! Loving the series so far and can't wait to see which foundation is next 😊
I bought this foundation in February, It’s my everyday use. I love it! I use it with the NYX drops. I Have very dry skin and it looks amazing! And no setting powder at all!
I wear it, love it, one of my favorites. I use warm ivory and I apply with a sponge always. I don't have much to cover up so light to medium coverage is fine for me. It does tend to stay tacky so I powder it lightly with Laura Mercier powder. It stays on all day and into the night. The area between my nose and lip and my chin is where it tends to wear off from eating and wiping my face with a napkin but the rest stays perfect. I have normal skin with a slightly oily tzone. I usually use Milani Make it last after I finish.
This is my holy grail foundation. I set it with the Maybeline fit me powder, and I set my entire face even though I have very dry skin and I love the way it looks.
I was able to get this foundation in calico when Ulta still sold it. It’s lighter than cool vanilla. It isn’t super long wearing but it looks nice when you need some quick makeup. I love this foundation, and the stay perfect! I use the no 7 translucent powder on top to set it. It’s amazingggg
I use the stay perfect in that brand. The lift and laminate tends to be for a person with more mature skin. I think if you try the stay perfect in calico you’ll be quite pleased😄 Btw calico is the lightest color. And the stay perfect have a wider shade range...
I love this foundation. First, I put a small amount of the lightest shade of Dermablend on my Rosacea cheeks and around my nose just to make sure I get coverage. Then I add just one layer of the Lift and Luminate. If I try and build it up it turns "solid" looking. I use a small amount of the No 7 loose powder to set but very lightly. If I try other powders I wreck the effect. It stays on my skin all day. I haven't mixed it on a plate with another foundation but am going to try that. Thanks for all your work. You deserve all the accolades that come your way.
This is one of my very favorite foundations. I like to set it with the milani prep+set+glow powder... it’s a glowy powder but not AS glowy as the balance and brighten (I do own and use both regularly). The foundation is dewy enough on its own, it doesn’t need a lot of extra dew from powder.
Couple hours late tonight but I finally made it. I'm so glad you reviewed this one; I've been wondering what it was like. Your makeup looked lit today!
This is my favorite foundation at the moment as I have extremely dry skin. I’ve tried a brush and a sponge and I know it goes against all the rules lol but my favorite way to apply it is with my fingers . I literally massage it in like a moisturizer then so back on my red patches and press it in to the skin with my fingers and I only set it on my face where I bronze and contour! It does amazing and makes my skin look soooo smooth.
I mx this foundation with Revlon colorstay, mainly for color matching purposes but it works nicely for me! And I've been setting it with the Rimmel stay matte powder. My skin used to be oily but ever since accutane my skin is more normal now. That's been my experience with this foundation ;) love you chicky! And love seeing your channel grow and grow! It's only up from here 🤘🖤
Taylor this is my holy grail foundation. I have combination/oily skin. I use urban decay de-slick primer on my t zone, and tarte poreless mattifing primer over the rest. Powder I found that the no 7 powder works the best but too faced born this way works alright too. Absolutely need to set it though and I use skindanavia bridal setting spray or the new too faced setting spray. Oh and P.S. I DO NOT use concealer on my nose or middle of my forehead it seems to make the foundation break down. Hope these tricks help u to live it as much as I do. Love 15 days and the work u do with beauty share.
I use and love this. First tip is I don’t recommend building it up because it’s one of those whipped foundations that like fill in your lines, that’s probably why you had weird heavy blotches because you were building it up in certain spots rather than all over layers. Also I don’t powder this one. I have dry skin so I never powder unless it’s with my hourglass ethereal light. I don’t think this ones good for full glam days. I use it for “no makeup” makeup days. Which for me is one even layer, concealer, bronzer blush and highlight. no baking, powders, setting, layering ect.
Just found your channel! Thanks Kathleen! I'm pretty new to watching utube, maybe the last 6 months.... such a coincidence to find you now because i just bought the no 7 foundation you are testing last week at Walgreens! My first impression of it was great too but I'm with you that after a bit, something is amiss....FIGURE OUT OUT FOR US BECAUSE I WANT TO LOVE THIS ONE TOO!!
One of my favorite foundations, but warm ivory was too dark for me so maybe I'll try cool vanilla! I set it with either Maybelline fit me loose powder or the Too Faced born this way ethereal powder
Eileen Arroyo I’m obsessed with the Lift & Luminate Foundation haha and am usually a much higher Coverage kind of gal, there’s just something so glowy and natural about this Foundation!!! It really does look like your skin, but better!!!
Being an adult and having money makes it hard to overcome cravings. As a kid it was like "dang, no money and no ride." But as a adult now I have to reason with myself.
You’re absolutely right! All the snacks and candies you parents wouldn’t always buy you before, you can just buy yourself now! Which is bad news for me since I have no self control lol
Every single day I'm shocked by how clear and beautiful your skin is compared to before Accutane. I shouldn't be shocked but what a huge difference. I remember being thrilled each and every day I had clear skin. You look wonderful.
The switch off between high end and drugstore is a fantastic concept for this series
Glad you're likin it!!! Xx
Ok, so here's the skinny with the no7 : this is my #1 most used foundation. I always have a backup on hand. Always. For 2 reasons.

Wonderful details given, thank you so much. I'm a pale princess like Taylor and want to try this but wasn't sure what to use it with if anything.
rian nodland I always mix it with my more matte foundations too
Thanks for your review! Gonna try this one for sure!
Thanks for the detailed review!
THANKS for the really helpful info on this! appreciate it!
I firmly believe cyo is your perfect shade match!!! It's crazy how well it blends into your skin
This eye look without the lashes is AMAZING. its so freakin flattering on you!
I am so sad we’re already 2/3 through this season of 15DoF. I love my daily dose of Taylor! And so appreciate the immense amount of work you put in to bring up this series!!!
Girl every video your skin just looks better and better! It's never look so good before! I'm seriously so happy for you 💕💕💕 absolutely gorgeous.
so glad you are including more drugstore foundations this time. Love watching them

The no7 matte foundation is one of my favourites. It is quite thick but lasts a really long time and has lots of coverage.
I can't get over how freaking amazing your skin is and how much your scarring has disappeared!!
This foundation and the concealer are BOMB. so glad I randomly decided to buy them at Target today
I use this foundation every day, it’s my holy grail for dry sensitive skin. I prime my skin, use sponge to apply the foundation and set my face with either the Laura Gellar powder or MAC Mineralize Skin Finish and it lasts all day! 😊
No 7 is literally one of my favs i have this one beautifully matte and stay perfect they ALL set beautifully!

This is my #1 foundation! It never does me wrong. I'm on my 4th bottle in just over a year. Can't get enough

When the intro was over and you were barefaced , I 100% audibly gasped at how incredible your skin looks now . I am so so happy for you 🖤
I use this foundation and set it with No7 Perfect Light translucent setting powder. The two products look really nice together!
Try the Stay Perfect formula from No7. So amazing for your skin type right now. Then move to Beautifully Matte once the oil returns!
I absolutely love no7 foundation, i have really oily prone skin and their Beautifully Matte Light foundation is perfect for me. also you can get a foundation match made to your skin, if you go in store and ask it is worth doing
When you put it on the first half with the brush, I couldn’t even tell you had foundation on so that shade is 👌🏻
This whole makeup look and outfit is totally throwing me back into the holiday season! LOL.

Don’t know why but I loved the wink of each eye at 9:20 lol
Loving 15DoF, we get no7 in the uk and our lightest shade is Calico, we can go into shop and they take scans of your skin and shade match you x
Haven't tried the No. 7 Lift and Luminate foundation but I love the No. 7 Stay Perfect foundation.
I use the No. 7 Lift & Luminate foundation. It works well on my dry mature skin.

Love the eye makeup. Looks like sunflower eyes
Do u put compact powder before or after
@@angelamorales4823 I like to use it after I put the foundation on
I'm enjoying the high-end and drug store alternating, drug store is my price range.
I like several No. 7 foundations...just starting the video but I feel like this is going to be a winner!
I love that I can go out a buy a foundation and look it up and see what your thoughts are!
I'm defos too oily skinned for this foundation but I agree so much about the new urban decay lip glosses, the packaging is STUNNING!
also, maybe for different powder combinations KathleenLights loves this foundation and uses the wet + wild photo focus pressed powder or the Cover FX Loose Setting Powder or the NYC Smooth Skin Loose Translucent Setting Powder to set it a little - maybe that would work a wee bit better xxx
Taylor, your makeup, hair and top give me Asian new year vibes. Beautiful! 😘
I have the same foundation in cool vanilla too! I felt like it wasn’t working for me so I left it in my vanity but I always only used sponge with it. Will definitely try using a brush :) thank you!!
Your skin looks flawless, and the eyeshadow makes your eyes really stand out!
That whistle at 10:30 yasss girl same 😂😂❤️❤️
I love mixing this one with the Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation in the lightest shade!
I like this foundation. I set it with Laura Mercier powder or Coty then I spray it with Milani dewy setting spray.
Had to return this one. Another foundation I really wanted to love.
As well as your makeup reviews I've been loving your different nail polishes.
Love the eyeshadow 👍 Picked up the Flower Beauty foundation today.😁💖
Let me know how it works for you! 🖤
This is my holy grail foundation. I set it with the Maybeline fit me powder, and I set my entire face even though I have very dry skin and I love the way it looks.
I’ve tried this foundation and love it!! I mix it with the BH cosmetics naturally flawless foundation to lighten it and it’s the perfect combo!
I think if you try the stay perfect in calico you’ll be quite pleased😄
Btw calico is the lightest color. And the stay perfect have a wider shade range...
The double wink you do when you're looking at your own eyeshadow - it just cracks me up every time, I don't know why. 😂 #baerittofam
You look so pretty in those colors. Love this look on you!!
No 7 needs to dry to its finish
I mx this foundation with Revlon colorstay, mainly for color matching purposes but it works nicely for me! And I've been setting it with the Rimmel stay matte powder. My skin used to be oily but ever since accutane my skin is more normal now. That's been my experience with this foundation ;) love you chicky! And love seeing your channel grow and grow! It's only up from here 🤘🖤
I'm loving having your videos everyday. When 15 days of foundation is over I'm gonna be sad. You're my fav beauty guru. 😍❤
Lighting has been on point last few videos!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I have this foundation and I love it. Kathleenlights also Raves about the foundation as well...
What do you pair this foundation with? Like primers, setting powder/spray?
I also have there skin care products witch are great as well...I love N"7
Eileen Arroyo I’m obsessed with the Lift & Luminate Foundation haha and am usually a much higher Coverage kind of gal, there’s just something so glowy and natural about this Foundation!!! It really does look like your skin, but better!!!
Being an adult and having money makes it hard to overcome cravings. As a kid it was like "dang, no money and no ride." But as a adult now I have to reason with myself.
Cristal Y. Villanueva or just run to the gas station and get some hot Cheetos😉
You’re absolutely right! All the snacks and candies you parents wouldn’t always buy you before, you can just buy yourself now! Which is bad news for me since I have no self control lol
Dang I’m an adult but still have no money lol
Thank you for testing cruelty free foundations too!! 💗❤ No7 is cruelty free, so is Flower Beauty!!
