It’s not my job to make him feel like a man though. Shouldn’t you attract someone who is stable enough in their ego and self esteem to not feel insecure seeing someone else succeed and has the emotional capacity to support you in your successes, and of course, vice versa?

I feel attacked. Lol... Better to learn my mistakes now. I am making changes but also keeping balance in that I just got to be me. Many of our behaviors are a result of trauma and attachment issues from childhood. I offer that we spend energy with a therapist working on the emotional and mental state, and the outer interpersonal connections will improve. There are so many rules to dating these days that we just need to get back to basics. I appreciate these videos for the straightforward and directness.

You just STOP! Redirect your mind as many times as you need to. When those thoughts creep in, just send them away and say, "nope, I'm not engaging in this line of thinking right now."
I read a book years ago. I believe it was called "How to stop looking for someone perfect and find someone to love". By Judith Sills. She explained how we keep "ruling them out" due to ridiculous things instead of "ruling them in" for the right things...something to that effect. I think some of us try too hard to "orchestrate" the relationship as well as "strategizing".
I guess I do intimidate men because I'm so independent. I'm stuck in my ways at times I have asked men to help with a manly task but wind it up having to do it myself. So I don't know I've been single so long I'm used to doing it myself.

So I was getting to know a guy for 3 months things were going great except one thing he was such a bad texter we barley talked on the phone I felt like he only got in touch with me when it was convenient for him. I finally asked him if he could develop feelings for me and he blames it on his mental health issues and if that’s true I have that as well we could of done it together but he chose not too he just wanted friendship he blind sided me bc he did tell me he liked me and still wanted to take it slow and be friends but that’s the thing he just wanted to be friends I wanted more then that I can’t just be friends with someone I was liking hard we couldn’t even become a couple before anything and I feel like a idiot and now my heart is broken. And I am so hurt to the point I am done looking for love it letting love come to me. I want nothing. I’m so done getting broken-hearted and disappointed. No male figure in my life has ever showed me love and I don’t think I’ll ever get it.

Lol I like this topic but I’m glad I’ve intimidated guys because Yes I can be softer but my go getter personality should be admired and respected at the same time. If he can’t compliment that energy then that’s fine. I won’t be brought down to get a man.
Some very useful advice - when I go to Open Mic nights I'm not looking for a guy but sometimes I attract a guy or several guys, fun times! 😉🎶
The few times I've heard women tell themselves they thought they had intimidated me... no. They just came across as tiresome and self-absorbed. That their whole live was just about them. There was simply nothing to connect with. Pure turn-off. They behaved like an irritating salesperson that did not understand I was not interested in buying. If then they also think they are intimidating... then they also signal they have no idea how they come across. And they're just projecting. Again pure turn-off.
Unless you're dealing with a guy whose muscles have entirely atrophied, a woman's generally not intimidating.
Other than that, most of the video is spot on.

How do you over come a bad fight, where a lot of mean and hurtful things were said to you? Do you urge for clarification after the fight is cooled down or do you just sweep it under the rug?
Sweeping under the rug is never a good strategy. It's best to be open and honest and when you're in a more even tempered space.
Look, I am an alpha, driven, don't need a man and so on. Never had a problem dating, unless I started being too alpha on the guys - initiating, stalking and so on. Better play the damsel in distress :))

A type 3 on what? I don't try to intimidate, but I want to vet someone who is on my level. I never try to be alpha, but have felt more comfortable with dudes until recently. I realize ❤️ its other strong women I like being around 🤷🏽♀️. Ok, but snapping at the waiter is a big 🚩 for me. Also, at 1st this seems like to go against advice from others, say Jonathan Aslay, who says to be more active & not rely on your "feminine energy", but after thinking for a minute, this goes hand in hand. The takeaway for me is to be present, in the moment, ask good open-ended questions, actively listen, & YES, just think about if you want another date at the end. Avoid rattling off the laundry list of achievements!
