SA is a good Plan B/C option. Good thing is it has minimal stay requirements. Passport is a strong one for travel in latin america, asean and africas which is a big plus. Would get it for the passport for sure. And congrats for the silver button :)

Hi. I don't understand when you say that the passport is needed to exit the country, not to live in the country. Can you elaborate? Thanks.
He means that a passport's principle use is as a travel document. Hence exiting your country, or any country. Without a valid travel document (passport), you're stuck where you are.
Citizenship does allow you to live indefinitely in a country, but so does permanent residence, or even temporary renewed indefinitely. Therefore the passport is ultimately not necessary to live somewhere.

Most do if the king loves you, but otherwise it’s tough. Thats why most non citizen residents of GCC are looking for their second or third passport in other countries.
