    All the guys complaining about getting a "guy version" need to get over themselves. Do we really need this advice when the world basically caters to us and tells us this from day one? Most Women don't really get that, from early on they're told how they should look and how they should act instead of giving them the choice about what they want to do with their bodies and giving them the ability to think for themselves and do what they want. So yes this video was needed. If we get a version for us guys then so be it but if we don't then just shut up sit down and straighten that meninist hoodie. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.

    I'm a guy and I'm fine if there is not male version of this, because men don't get cat called, harassed, beaten, and oppressed as much than women. It's a harder life for women in todays society than it is for men. I think it's fine if girls get more help or benefits, since they have gone through a lot. And to all those guys who say men are oppressed by women, that's BS. The only time a guy is oppressed is by another guy, so don't get mad at the girls, get mad at the guys, if you think guys are oppressed.

      I think she means think bluntly but feel beautifully. When you stray away and and fantasy and unnecessary creativity to thoughts, a spade doesn't become a spade any more, it becomes a distorted figure that you over analyze when all you needed was to call it like it is and do what you think is right, sort of thing

    • @sparkygirl266
      @sparkygirl266 9 лет назад +2

      I don't think she's talking about race. I think she's talking about how you should see the world and reality in black and white instead of idealizing and having a pretty fantasy about how things are, while your emotions can be in color and exemplify your passion.

I'm so happy people are taking the initiative to spread this kind of message, because even though we say it all the time, being confident is not easy, and at the end of the day, it's just a butt. It's just hair, it's just a shirt, legs, feet, a nose, eyes, boobs and abs. What really matters is the brain, the strength, the capacity to be yourself and to be happy with who that is. These are all such inspiring women, thank you for sharing!

    Yes Anna Faris, you tell it! I understand the other actresses spoke from the heart and truly ment well but I felt Faris' came across as the most authentic. It is one thing to give good advice, but another to show understanding that doing good is not always easy.

    I really loved what Anna Faris said!!! I always thought that she isn't the brightest because of her roles in the Scary Movie type of films. But actually I loved her advice the most! It spoke to me in a way the others didn't! I really love her for that! Respect, Anna, you are great!!!

    this video made me cry, because I'm really insecure about myself and my looks. It really made me think about things, like WHY do I hate my looks? is it because of the things I've heard from my bullies, OR does it come from my own brain and heart? thank you BuzzFeed!

    Viola is incredible. I have an unwavering respect for her but I feel as though everytime she speaks, she changes lives. This video is a perfect example of that.
