This easy almond tart is light, not too sweet, and tastes best with a cup of coffee. One of the easiest pies to make.
Recipe Ingredients:
cake flour - 200 g
Sugar - 2 tbsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
Unsalted Butter - 100g (cold and cut into small cubes)
Large egg - 1
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Lemon zest - of 1/2 lemon
Water - 15 ml / 1tbsp
Filling:
Almond meal - 85g
Cake flour - 27g
Unsalted butter - 85g (room temperature)
Sugar - 100g
Large egg - 1
Egg yolk - 1
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Almond extract - 1/2 tsp
Zest of 1/2 lemon
