- For years, Phil Mick fell victim to bullying. His worrying gave him stomach aches and he began to resent going to school. Then, he got help from some unlikely angels-50 big-hearted, leather-clad bikers. The United Motorcycle Enthusiasts are a brotherhood riding to do good. On Phil’s first day of middle school, they banded together to give him an unbelievable back-to-school escort, sending the message that empathy and love is always the answer.

Imagine bullying someone because of the clothes they are wearing, at an age where you haven’t earned a single penny yourself and everything you own has been paid for by your parents. Really something to be proud of.

When I was 18, I used to work at a gym. I had to be there at 4:15 to open it at 4:30. I started getting stocked by a guy who would be there waiting for me before it opened, then make comments about my body. 3 bikers used to come in between 4:30 and 5:30 every morning. When they heard what was happening they organized so that one of them would show up every morning at 4:15 to escort me. Bikers in my hometown were also the ones who would organize all the Christmas and thanksgiving charity drives.

I had a very similar experience when I was in school. I was bullied pretty badly for years and eventually met a a few people from a local M.C.C. Became part of their family which was amazing and had many great years being part of their group and family. They even took me to my school prom in a convoy
Bikers get a bad rep because of a few bad apples but most of them are some of the best people a person will ever meet

In the UK, we buy cheap clothes at Primark by the bucket, and no one complains. I don't think there isn't a single person that does not own at least one piece of clothing bought at Primark. So, no one has any morality to criticize.
Fun fact, I have bought amazing clothes at charity second hand shops, and they are in perfect condition. I got a pair of Tommy Hilfiger denim jeans for less than 10 dollars and they look awesome.

Because they're riding cruisers/touring motorcycles they are heavier, and less nimble than the sports bikes you see in videos running from the police.
In car comparison the cruiser/touring is a pickup truck while a sports bike is a fast low to the ground vehicle designed for racing. You take a hard left or right turn in a truck you'll end on the ride you didn't want to be on most likely flipping. Same deal with cruisers and touring. They have more clearance than a sports bike also are much much heavier so taking a fast turn is something you cannot do or you'll be again on a ride you don't want to be on.
