- For years, Phil Mick fell victim to bullying. His worrying gave him stomach aches and he began to resent going to school. Then, he got help from some unlikely angels-50 big-hearted, leather-clad bikers. The United Motorcycle Enthusiasts are a brotherhood riding to do good. On Phil’s first day of middle school, they banded together to give him an unbelievable back-to-school escort, sending the message that empathy and love is always the answer.

When I was 18, I used to work at a gym. I had to be there at 4:15 to open it at 4:30. I started getting stocked by a guy who would be there waiting for me before it opened, then make comments about my body. 3 bikers used to come in between 4:30 and 5:30 every morning. When they heard what was happening they organized so that one of them would show up every morning at 4:15 to escort me. Bikers in my hometown were also the ones who would organize all the Christmas and thanksgiving charity drives.

I had a very similar experience when I was in school. I was bullied pretty badly for years and eventually met a a few people from a local M.C.C. Became part of their family which was amazing and had many great years being part of their group and family. They even took me to my school prom in a convoy
Bikers get a bad rep because of a few bad apples but most of them are some of the best people a person will ever meet
This was touching, I’m happy for the boy. He will definitely be a rider and have his own motorcycle one day 🏍️

It`s 22 years ago for me since i was last bullied. It lasted for 12 years and included broken limbs when it was at its most extreme. I wish i had people like them back then. Good for Phil. You maybe overweight, you may have cheaper cloths my dear man, but you will have a heart of gold when your older. Believe me it sucks to be bullied but when you get older you will find strength from your trauma`s they will make you a person that stands out miles above the bullies. Keep your head up, smile to the world, one day the world will start smiling back at you in a way you wont believe.
