It should work in a bundt pan. The temperature would remain the same but I'm not sure of a bake time. You can use whatever frosting you'd like. I have a whole bunch on my channel/website. :)

I honestly don't know how that would work as a substitute. I did try this with milk and buttermilk as well and the results with the sour cream were just much better. You can make it in 6 inch pans, but your bake time will change a little bit. :)

You could definitely add some crushed up cookies in between the layers. I'm not sure how adding cream cheese in with the ermine frosting will go. I haven't tried it but it could work. :)

Unfortunately, I don’t recommend it because people have reported having mixed results with carton egg whites. Sometimes they work but other times they just won’t whip into a meringue properly so to be safe I recommend against it.

I’m not sure, I recommend following as written for best results but you could certainly experiment

2% milk is going to be the best substitute for whole milk. It could potentially make the cake slightly dry but I think you'll be ok to use it. :)

For the cake you will just want to reduce the salt by a scant 1/4 teaspoon and you can just omit it in the icing. ☺️
