What Glee lacked is a bass singer, because although some reach low notes (like an F2), they are all baritones and tenors, it would have been great to have someone with an exclusively deep voice
Wow! This is a tough choice. Most of them are so good. So just based on my own "gut" reaction to what I hear... 1) Have to say Damian McGinty - his voice sounded so smooth, almost velvety in this clip. It could be because I'm a lower voice myself, but I always liked that he had a lower register (if I remember correctly, the only Baritone among the guys on the show). 2) Cory Monteith - also because of the smoothness and the control 3) Chris Colfer - again, his control; very impressive but still felt natural 4) Darren Cris - also very smooth and controlled, nothing forced 5) Kevin McHale - a very pure tone, and very impressive in a pure a cappella clip The rest were good, but not, to me, in the same league (Cord Overstreet was pretty close). I've always felt the faster, "belt it" songs don't require the same control, and don't strike me as requiring the same effort. So not as impressive to me. Thanks again, for a fun video!
+adrichina72 I might. Ray (a guy who makes vocal range videos) kinda beat me to it, followed by another person. IDK yet. I think I might make a vocal battle!

Very tru.
Damian was a bass
@@darrencriss5529As a bass-baritone, Damian was technically a bass-baritone
