Thank you for mentioning libraries as a way to help be frugal! Libraries lend out a variety of things now (i.e. hardware tools, sewing machines, 3-D printers, movies, books, etc.) based on community needs that has helped me save a bunch of money. Great video, as always!

Great point on being careful with spending on hobbies. I believe you can productively participate in almost any hobby without overspending.

You can still use the public library to check out ebooks and audiobooks.

Good video. I like the tip to rent first. I know I'll be needing a car soon. I have thought about renting first just to see what I would like.
I definitely like the idea of splurging occasionally. thru my frugal journey. I've realized there are certain areas I want to try that on. I've always wanted to fly 1st class. For years, when I had to fly, it was always coach. Of course, that meant walking past the 1st class seats as I headed to the back of the plane. I have to say, I was a little jealous. Last year I decided to consider it for one of my annual trips. I loved it. I now budget for it. Is coach cheaper...sure. But I'm at a point in my life where it didn't hurt me financially, and I decided it's time to treat myself once in a while.
    Thanks for this. 👍🏾👍🏾

Excellent video again! I'd also like to add that price per wear is also a good way of looking at things. I usually do not impulse buy. I buy needed things, but also things that last. Buying a pair of boots but it is not real leather etc. To me is a waste of money if the tag is $400. If i can buy a 200 dollar boot with real leather that can last me a lifetime that's what I will go with every time. Upfront things like that can seem like a needless waste, but if I can keep 1 pair for 15 years with minimal upkeep; it then becomes less than pennies per wear

I enjoy your videos so much! I make use of the public library! If you can't get into a book, you just return it! Also, your video inspired me not to renew my karate membership! Who knew there were so many online tutorials!

Good content as always, thank you! But may I recommend updating your stock image / video bank? After consuming much of your excellent stuff, some of those stock filler images and videos are becoming rather too frequent and repetitive, and thus IMHO slightly takes away from the quality content.

Shouldn't budgeting be in there too? I have a budget way below my means, and I use that to mentally control myself.
I used an app to do that, and it'll draw out a chart and remind me how much money I have left got every single day. Good way to not be miserable too because sometime I'm left with so much money I'd treat myself a little.

All these RUclipsrs.. these Financial experts tell us not to spend but at the same time they says trying on your own business.. we have to spend to stimulate the economy so if you're not spending and no one's making money the economy would collapse correct
