    Thank you so much for this!
    At my work I provide AV solutions for corporate/internal events....and as the smartphone makers move away from a 3.5mm jack I'm looking for a robust bluetooth receiver so clients can still bump their cocktail hour playlists through our system. With some of the knowledgeable you've bestowed i've sent a nice list of possible units to my boss for approval. One thing I really appreciate in the majority of these models is the inclusion of RCA, it makes it much easier to run directly into our soundboard, or even through a DA first (converting to XLR).
    Gonna see what else your channel has to offer, I really appreciate your POV and commentary

    Thank you for this review. I got an application for a gym that have three rooms close by with separated music in each of them and you have many coaches as users. So I do not like, that automatic connection occur when the first coach arrive in area. And you will like to be able to disconnect the current connection by pressing of a button so another coach can connect. I actually believed, that the Logitech was able to do that. But I am not sure about the other kinds, and I got a hard time to find specifications on these receivers regarding these issues.

    Sir, I have a question that only you may be able to answer. So I have 5 (master Bluetooth ceiling columns each has it's oswn slaves) So in each room I have a music that I can connect via Bluetooth and listening music. However I want to be able to turn music to all 5 columns simultaneously from my PC or phone. However the speakers are not connected with any wiring . I found a solution using Google Mini using them as a default control and make music rooms connecting each google mini but there is one final problem. I can use those music rooms only on a few apps... In my case I want to be able to watch a movie so i need some transmitter/ receiver that can connect 2+ devises however the output would be great if it is without wire but with Bluetooth again, so it is more like a controller. Do you have some suggestion or idea. I have a solution using Arylic but that;s not a full solution plus it's verry expensive buying one per room. Please advice, 10x

Here is the scenario, I have a Bluetooth headset with a mic and need to connect to my analog audio mixer wirelessly. I want to hear (monitor) the audio and at the same time I want to connect the mic to one of the channels. TIA

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 месяца назад

      Depends on the TV, you would want your TV to be able to get audio from your optical, RCA,COAX outputs while listening to the TV Speakers. If not then you will have to get audio from another source like your Cable Box or Sat dish optical outputs. That way your TV will work as usual and you transmit audio via a BT transmitter getting audio from the SAT?CBL box.

    Hey BB23, a friend said "of course you can play your iPhone through your older A/V receiver, you need this and ordered it for me, an Esinkin". My question to you is would I benefit from ordering a Mypin? I'm not into using it enough to justify paying for a BluDento or anything in it's price range. But I wouldn't mind upgrading somewhat from the Esinkin. I do have toslink connection on my A/V rec if it's an upgrade from RCAs.

      Turn off the chairs Bluetooth (BT) or cut power from chair, put the TV into BT pairing, turn chair on and wait for the TV to see the chair. The pairing may take up to 45 seconds.... be patient.
      When you see the chair on TV then click on the chair. If you get nowhere then call the chair manufactures tech support. Good luck and cheers

    As a result, which DAC in your opinion is better in sound: SMSL SA300 or iFi Audio Zen Blue V2??? Both have 2RCA output. Many thanks!

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 года назад

      The SMSL is a whole different device, because it has a amplifier built in. Have not done a A&B comp with these two devices. I would "assume" the Zen would be better because it was engineered to be a Hi End BT receiver.
      The SMSL I would think put their energy towards being a stereo amp with BT.
      I do very much like my Zen(s).
      Cheers.

    Which device is best for car audio? I want to transmit directly to my car amp from my cellphone. It has to power on automatically with my cig lighter's 5V. It will be hiding in the back with my amp so I dont want to power it on/off everytime. You said you used the Fiio in your car but why not one of the higher end units?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 года назад +1

      I use the Fiio because it has a volume control (pre out) the sound is just fine. If you used a IfI zen or BluDento type receiver you would need to have a head unit to control the volume as the RCA outputs are fixed voltage and I do not trust having something like that hooked up. IF something goes wrong you run the risk of blowing your speakers at best.
      IMHO I would get a GOOD head unit with an RCA INPUT like the Alpine I'm using, you will have tone adjustments and a volume control. ( Do not get a deck with the AUX input (3.5mm) it is the wrong impedance and input level.
      It must be RCA or pre amp level, then you could use a Ifi zen or BluDento (BLT-HD).
      Good luck my friend. Cheers

    • @GeorgeWPush

      @@breakerbroke23 I'm trying to decide if I need a headunit or not so this info helps thank you! I want to run just a tablet/phone to bluetooth audio to bt receiver then to amp. But I also like the benefits of a real headunit. What should I look for in a good headunit? Output over how many amps? "IMHO I would get a GOOD head unit with an RCA INPUT like the Alpine I'm using" Do you mean RCA Output because its outputting to the amp?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 года назад

      @@GeorgeWPush I use a head unit like this www.ebay.com/itm/125407795340?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-213727-13078-0&mkcid=2&itemid=125407795340&targetid=4580496732614416&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=&poi=&campaignid=418233788&mkgroupid=1230353745471221&rlsatarget=pla-4580496732614416&abcId=9300542&merchantid=51291&msclkid=258d496bff001f15949f2a7316eb8857 (not this exact one, look for one in better condition)
      On the back of the Alpine you will see a blue connector, that is for audio input from like a CD changer or Ipod or mobile video and they sell a RCA adapter. amzn.to/3qjrzqB
      Plug your BluDento into this plug and it will play through the Alpine correctly, proper gain levels.
      Do not get the POS connector that already has a BT receiver on it. They are junk for sure.

    I have a question concerning dryer plugs/wiring. I live in a mobile home and I bought a used dryer. My old dryer was a 2007 model. It's wired with the 4 wire but the white one that u said just ties into neutral up where u cant see it. Anyways, I took the wire with plug off my old dryer and when I went to hook it up to the one I bought (used) it has the old 3 with ground to chassis. Big Sticker warning about shock etc.. which I understand and want to avoid taking that risk. Soooo, does this require a trip to Lowes for a 4 wire kit and a new outlet too? If u have the time I would appreciate any answer. Thank u.

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 года назад

      If your home is older and does not have 4 wire wiring at the wall plug then you will have to stick to 3 wire. IMHO if you are not sure, call an Electrician. Not a Handyman

    • @lindalowe8341

      @@breakerbroke23 , yeah thank you. That was one of my concerns because my double wide is an '98 and I was concerned about the wiring in the wall. I'm just a widow who just lost my son and I work but last time I called an electrician it was over $200.00. I know about electricity and I just wanted to do the right thing Plus I've been a ground for just 110 and it was NO FUN!! ( Motorhome with a screw through a wire) touched the door!! DON'T want to be one for more power!! Thanks for answering, I'll call the place I bought it on Monday and probably just hook it up the old way with the ground to the chassis of the dryer. 😜

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 года назад

      Your MH is probably new enough to have modern wiring, so if it is 4 prong wiring, I would not change if that is the case, the real chassis ground is the safest way to go. It is the 3 wire that could be potentially dangerous.

I have a Taotronic, but I have seen this brand removed from the Amazon store for lying and cheating ... so now I am suspicious that it supports APTX as I was assured. I have read that many bluetooth receivers do not support APTX in RX mode. This is what matters most to me about a device like every music and audio lover

    Great video. Thanks!! Maybe someone can help me. I need a simple bluetooth transceiver to bluetooth full-duplex connect to my android phone so that I can make phone calls through my audio interface without physically connecting my phone to the interface, but by using the bluetooth device that I describe. So the bluetooth interface must have analog in and outs, the analog in will be sent back to the smartphone as "mic in" and the analog out will be the sound being passed from my phone to the bluetooth device back to my audio interface. I read that it must work in TDD mode, but not sure about that. Most of the whiz-bang bluetooth devices have send/receive switches, but for the sake of phone call I need it to work like an BT earbud that one uses commonly, but with ports for the phone mic and sound. BlueDriver M3 does it, but not crazy about the product. Does anyone know how to do this easily and inexpensively?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 года назад

      IDK. If I understand correctly you would need a device that has both balanced and unbalanced in/out options as well.
      As far as I know, that product doesn't exist. I still don't understand what the overall intent is.

    • @stanmanmedia
      @stanmanmedia 2 года назад

      @@breakerbroke23 I'm trying to get a device that simultaneously transmits and receives, duplex transceiver that has ports for external mic input and audio output that sits between my audio interface and smartphone that I Bluetooth connect to my smartphone (just like an earbud) but that allows me to tie the smartphone into my audion interface for wireless Bluetooth phone calls. I know how to do it hard wired with an attenuator, and made a video on that. I don't know why there is not a fairly inexpensive device that is seen by the smartphone as something resembling Bluetooth earbuds with mic, but the device instead of being a Bluetooth headset is a device with ports for sound and mic. I know it's easy to build, but I don't want to do it. I'd prefer to buy the device, without spending $700 for a Rode Procaster II. I have all kinds of interfaces and just need the Bluetooth adapter that does that one function in the Ride Podcaster II. Hate spending that much for one little function.
