    The Bludento products are truly excellent! Zero noise, excellent resolution, great soundstage and bass. They are so close to what my WiFi streamers can do and I at great for WiFi outages as back ups. I use the HD model in my bedroom system and it’s wonderful!!!! Great video!!!

    Great review, thanks for the good information. I had an Auris but my dog chewed it up. Going for an iFi or BluDento now.

    In this particular niche product review, you seem to be the foremost expert I've found on RUclips. Well done!

    Thank you for all your Bluetooth research! I first started with the LinkFor Bluetooth DAC you recommended. I enjoyed it and decided I wanted to upgrade. So I picked up the Ifi blue 2.0 Wow immediately my mind what blown on the big wide stereo imagining the output was cleaner and louder without any digital distortion. Sitting there listening and looking at that UFO shaped unit I was amazed with what Bluetooth audio has come to

      I have too opened up the unit and can say the build quality is amazing full metal construction outstanding machine work, especially with the casing. I just don't see this unit ever breaking. Once inside I noticed the very high quality red circuit board, I remember even seeing some gold plated connections inside on the board. One thing I also noticed is my unit is a late 2023 the circuit board looks ever so slightly different around the bt chip section. My unit has a version 2.1 printed on the bottom left corner next to the balanced output section. The the rear panel has some extra information under the the analog/digital switch. The front also now comes from the factory with a high res audio sticker next to the pairing light. These are just some small updates I noticed on these ifi units going into 2024.

    Very satisfied with my Zen Blue v2 for two years now. Recently I added the iPower2 lower noise power supply. i don't have testing ears but it should be an improvement.
    The Zen Air Blue is a simpler version without digital output at a lower price.

    Mike, I have a nice receiver and my thought is to hook up to its auxiliary RCA inputs a Bluetooth receiver. My receiver is near the floor on my second story and it’s about 10 feet from a window. I was thinking of using a long RCA cable and placing, one of the receivers you mentioned on the windowsill then I would use my iPhone on the ground floor outside probably another 30 to 40 feet away to control the music I want to hear. I have a nice pair of speakers outside connected to my receiver. I’m wondering which of these have the best Bluetooth range and does the receivers antenna need to be within sight of my phone at all times. Just looking for a solution before I select one from your store

      They are all pretty close range wise, however the IFI ZEN Blue V2 had the best receiver range. IMO

    I would like to get the loudest one of these. So is that Audioengine B1? Turning volume up to the end is what I hate with weaker ones.

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 месяца назад

      The loudest is not in this video because it is a BT transmitter and receiver. This video show receivers only. Check it out as it has great Pre out level and is a great transmitter with selectable CODES. It and the BTA30 are great! amzn.to/48CEbNb Cheers

    Do they all sleep/go into standby and require a button press to use after the night? Does any of them allow easy device switching (without needing to turn off BT on the first device or unpair the receiver on first device before being able to connect with a second device)?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 месяца назад

      Some go to sleep some just sit and flash, waiting for you to activate with you turning on your BT on the phone or just walking into the room. ( That is if you leave your BT setting on in your phone ). IMHO.... while deciding on what device to get, go to their web site and read the manual. Cheers

    I was just wondering what happened with the blue me pro? Really thought it would come down to the zen2 vs blueme pro. However with the slash 6 I’m thinking I can save some money.
    If someone would build a mini receiver with pre out and the matching separates they would start another stereo war that would probably be about as epic as the original.

      I like the BluMe PRO, it is a great device. This video showcased BT receivers only. Next one will be my favorite BT/DAC devices. Coming ASAP. Cheers

    A number of years ago, when my beloved Luxman receiver died, I replaced it with a Yamaha HTR-5940 AV receiver. I’ve never tried using the optical and coaxial inputs. I see many of these Bluetooth receiver units have optical and coaxial outputs, but you only seem to connect them via RCA cables. I assume because you’re connecting them to older systems that don’t have such inputs, correct? What about “newer-ish” receivers like mine from the last twenty years? What are the pros and cons we need to know about when connecting them. Is it safe to assume using an optical or a digital coaxial cable would be best if we have the inputs on our receiver?

      @breakerbroke23  4 месяца назад +1

      Great question. I mostly use RCA because I use the vintage receivers from the 70s to early 80s. In your case I would hook up all 3 outputs ( from BT receiver) at a time and then switch between AUX, OPT, COAX.
      The reason for this is to find out what sounds best to YOU. Not all AV receivers have a good built in DAC and the AUX might sound better same with coax input. When you find the one input you like then unhook the others, or leave them hooked up.
      Cheers
