Glad I decided to go back and checkout some of your older videos. After riding the EuroVelo 6 next year I plan on spending a couple of week biking, and riding trains in Switzerland.
What a terrific trip this must've been. I'm an American living in Germany and have cycled all over. Mostly in Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg, though I've made two really scenic tours in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. I'm usually camping, but at 71 I can sure see the advantages of touring as you did staying in hotels and hostels along the way. Perhaps I'll try that next summer.
I enjoy the hotels in Europe because often they are so charming, part of the experience. You've ridden in some great places, and live among probably the best cycling infrastructure in the world. Germany is magnificent.
Love your bicycle videos. I've got an idea. This is my 2 cents worth. What about, England. Scotland, and Ireland? The people are super nice, the food and B&B and hotels are great, the scenery is ancient, and the hills are eh. Well, you can't have everything.
Thank you so much! The British Isles are absolutely on oury bucket list. I've done some traveling there, and even did a walking trip in the Cotswolds and absolutely love the area.
Wow! Both for the beautiful scenery soaked in on bikes, but also for your editing and production! Well done! Just subscribed. Great inspiration for a European cycling vacation I’m hoping to plan.
Hey Mike, no GPX of that trip, although I could pretty easily detail most of it (it's the Danube trail from Donauschingen to Vienna for the most part). Sorry it took so long to respond, been busy editing a new series which launched yesterday, about our trip across America. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/u4w-rPcbk88/видео.html
Great video. My wife and I were there for the first time in August of 2019. Fell in love with the area and are moving there fulltime in a few months. Hope you're able to do the same. Keep up the great work.

Sounds like a great trip!
nice video, thank you. We just came from a Lake Como cycling trip, it was a pleasure to see some of the places in your video.
We just kept on about how cool it would be to live there someday.

Nicely captured, Roland Leppek! A dream of mine, as would be experiencing an opera at La Scala!
thank you!
Thanks for the fabulous videos! More should be subscribing to this channel.

So glad you liked it!
Europe is an amazing destination for cycling, in my opinion. Our US tour is posting soon, hope you check it out as well!
Fantastic set of videos. Great commentary and music which compliments the tour perfectly.
Do have a gpx of the trip by any chance?

Wow! That's a big step. We talk about that but with family here, here we stay. Maybe we'll try a part time situation. It is glorious.

Hello again Roland. Can either of you remember the name of the HOTEL you stayed at in MENAGGIO ???. Max. Australia.
It was not a hotel, it was a private home we found through Booking.com, , Listed as Casa Nobiallo.
