At 14:48, you mention not much to do after adding an exhaust and listed a few more items but forgot ear plugs. 😀 good review, keep it up.

Everything you pointed out were pluses in my book. A stupid fast, fun, reliable rocket ship. Bought one without seeing it or trying it. Love mine.

if its too much then you build one and lets see your cost. You also need to add in cost savings for no gas and way less maintenance. Open your mind

I enjoyed my test ride with the Livewire but in my opinion the best electric motorcycles on the market right now are Energicas. Yes they're still stupidly expensive but range, torque, and horsepower beat out the Livewire (I think charge times are similar). I will say I like the sound of the Livewire more than Energicas, which are best described as having the whine of a Tie Fighter.

From the testing I've seen the energize have over inflated their numbers in all aspects while livelier has under inflated their bringing the performance to nearly the same. Now that the livelier dropped price that makes the livelier a much better buy now.

What are you talking about? Who the hell wants to tinker when you can just ride and have fun. Nobody likes to pollute the air. Nobody likes to do oil changes and dispose of oil or have to buy and change oil and filters or clean or buy air filters. I suppose you might have to change the belt once in the lifetime of the LiveWire or buys tires because the power eats them up if you gotta be riding like a maniac. And you don't have to piss your neighbors off with noise. Seems like the LiveWire is almost the perfect motorcycle except that you have to stop and charge the darned thing every day.

Ha, yup. “I’m really going to miss changing that oil.” Said no one ever . . .
This thing is next level. Love the innovation.

I mean I enjoy changing oil lol. But I also have a garage to do it in

Hey, I get it. There’s so much to miss
“I’m really going to miss all of that used oil in my garage. And, finding a way to get rid of it.”
“I’m really going to miss cleaning up those greasy black oil spots on my garage floor.”
“I’m really going to miss changing those spark plugs.”
“I’m really to miss changing out those rusty exhaust pipes. Most especially, the fun of breaking loose the seized bolts, and drilling out the ones with the busted off heads.”
“I’m really going to miss re-timing those valves.”
Good video, man. Love the LiveWire innovation. Thanks for posting.

@@ChitFromChinola I don’t have these problems as I have a smudge pot that burns used oil. So it’s also quite enjoyable having used oil around. Also any oreillys will take your used oil.
And 110% if I’m ever unable to change a muffler I will be sad lol. I’ve never left a single exhaust stock. Some ive regretted the noise it makes after and made it quieter but a lot of them I’ve loved.
I also don’t mind changing spark plugs and gapping them either. Like I said the electric motor may be for some but not all

@@Brendan194 Nothing enjoyable about it. Oil isn't cheap either. Carcinogenic And then you have to buy an oil filter and the other one ends up in a landfill. I change my own oil but will not miss doing it one iota.

Its fast and fun but too expensive and range is a bit limiting.

@@FlyingFun. I’d stick with the Harley. Rode both and the Harley build quality and fit and finish is significantly nicer in the flesh. All good bikes mind you 👍🏻
