It’s so weird seeing Vinny just front and (left of) center on camera. After only seeing him through shaky phone camera footage, dark GameBoy face cam, and blurry public access archival footage for so long. I fear I am going to turn into a pillar of salt.
as an OG vinesauce fan, i really miss the webcam segments so much. i know a part of vinny's whole schtick is the commentary only streaming but the occasional pops in were always something to look forward to. im really looking forward to more content like this!! love all the effort you put into the set, looks great! i love the handsome animatronic next to you eating all the candy!
I'm glad to see Vin getting more comfortable in front of a camera. Love all the new content styles recently, I honestly feel like Vinny could branch off into just about anything and still be genuinely entertaining.
Salmiak is created by a chemical compound resulting from the chemical reaction between ammonia and hydrochloric acid, creating an edible, extremely salty powder, often put in candy. You either grow up with it because it's in local candies, or if you didn't grow up with it, it's nearly inedible.
I didn't grow up with it. A long time ago a now ex-GF and her siblings got a pile of it from their dad who was there on business because he didn't know. I took it all and couldn't get enough. The ones I got were also heavily laced with menthol so it was like licorice, salt and mint all competing to fuck my mouth. I wish I could find it again.
It's pretty surreal seeing and looking at Vinny as he makes and does his voices. I'm glad Vin looks like he had fun with this. Solid video, good nice edits. Very nice choice in music, too.

Kind of impressive that Vinny can taste ammonia in the salmiakki since it's literally ammonium chloride. People who are used to the taste wouldn't probably think of ammonia but rather salmiakki.
To me it just tastes like salt with an added sharp taste to it which is hard to describe, certainly doesn't taste anything like the smell of a bottle of ammonia and not anywhere near as strong but I suppose it's in the same neighborhood.

this is so terrifying seeing vinny of all people on camera, its like a bit that im expecting a pyscho jerma photoshop to show up but there is no joke its just vinny doing things... which should be normal but my brain isnt conditioned for it yet
His smile at 21:40 is so contagious. I miss facecam, I know we just had genloss but still
I love how he said it tasted like ammonia, because it is. "salmiakk" is ammonia.
salmiakki is pretty much jes ammonia yep
Not quite, it's ammonium chloride to be more exact. Can be made from ammonia but it's not same exactly.
@@Remon_ this tbh makes it even more fun that he described it tasting like ammonia and chlorine
@@Remon_ true
I really like black licorice but don't understand why Swedes need to coat it in toilet cleaner
I really like how at 9:53 the music synced up perfectly with him taking a swig
It’s so weird seeing Vinny just front and (left of) center on camera. After only seeing him through shaky phone camera footage, dark GameBoy face cam, and blurry public access archival footage for so long.
I fear I am going to turn into a pillar of salt.
More likely a pillar of ammonium chloride.
I remember when he was reacting to Metal Gear Survive and basically just dying inside and outside in his chair
as an OG vinesauce fan, i really miss the webcam segments so much. i know a part of vinny's whole schtick is the commentary only streaming but the occasional pops in were always something to look forward to. im really looking forward to more content like this!! love all the effort you put into the set, looks great! i love the handsome animatronic next to you eating all the candy!
the genuine looks at the dude sitting next to vinny are what make the video so extra special. Riveting commentary despite saying nothing
Gnorts is the best cohost
My heart melted a little bit at the note ;w; it was just so genuinely sweet and had that signature Joel charm to it to boot
this man has looked 28 for the past 10 years
Delightful. Would pay to see Vinny’s expression when he finds out that “appelsin” is, in fact, just orange.
Vinny trying to read with a Swedish accent he sounds like a Skyrim Nordic.
*Skyrim belongs to the nor-*
*What was that!?* *Huh... Must've been the wind...*
he did the "running on empty, food review!" perfectly...it was so cute
Based and Gnortzpilled

5:05 Vinny just saying "Svenskjävlar" as if it's some sort of fancy word is just too funny to me
I'm glad to see Vin getting more comfortable in front of a camera. Love all the new content styles recently, I honestly feel like Vinny could branch off into just about anything and still be genuinely entertaining.
I'm so glad Vinny finally got to see Joel's package
God what I'd do for a Joel package
He tasted it too
Vinny got some real mouthfuls of Joel's Package
My goodness, Vinny is an utterly gorgeous human being.
I'm definitely attracted to him
Same age as me too.
Salmiak is created by a chemical compound resulting from the chemical reaction between ammonia and hydrochloric acid, creating an edible, extremely salty powder, often put in candy.
You either grow up with it because it's in local candies, or if you didn't grow up with it, it's nearly inedible.
Best candy outside of chocolate
I didn't grow up with it. A long time ago a now ex-GF and her siblings got a pile of it from their dad who was there on business because he didn't know. I took it all and couldn't get enough. The ones I got were also heavily laced with menthol so it was like licorice, salt and mint all competing to fuck my mouth. I wish I could find it again.
@@gaspump You can usually buy these things online at an exorbitant price. Some American candy shops have them but probably not the same brand.

Made me burst out laughing when the juice Joel bought in bulk made an appearance.
I fucking knew it
Joel probably still has some in his house
I love how he kept drinking it
It's pretty surreal seeing and looking at Vinny as he makes and does his voices.
I'm glad Vin looks like he had fun with this. Solid video, good nice edits. Very nice choice in music, too.
what were the music tracks ?
FTL game music. Very chill.
Also some animal crossing thrown in
@@Omnicia17
Around 25:00 and beyond sounds like Rimworld music.
I didn't like the editing 😈
I always forget how emotive vinny actually is on camera, as opposed to the popular depiction of him as a tired deadpan streamer man
Getting two videos of Vinny's real-ass face less than a week apart feels so surreal.
It's funny to think Vinny and Joel became friends through stream chat back when there was just 40-50 people watching him.
The extra effort to actually be on camera is appreciated
How can one man have so much old age crust but also so much boyish charm?
Wow, this vtuber technology is really advancing, huh? It's almost like Vinny is a real person
His eyes still look death inside like any other Vtuber still.
I can hear Joel's laughter from here.
ayo, Vimbo, if you read these, I've been watching your bullshit for like ten years, since I was in high school in the ~2011 era and you were still smoking, lol. that means I got context for how big a step videos like these are for ya so I just wanna say you're acing it, way to go. your mike has a totally acceptable level of crust and, if this isn't too weird and parasocial, it's cool to see you're feeling confident about something like this. good vibes, man
I read that with the most stereotypical New York accent ever
@@TheJubberGubb Well hey, you know what, I did live there for like eight years so I guess it comes thru sometimes lmao. I related to Vinny in the first place all those years ago because we're both veterans of the New York catholic school system
gross-ass Timmy Dolan prolly daubed both our foreheads with oil

16:11 can’t believe the fish paste transformed Vinny French for 2 seconds with that laugh…
You can tell from Vinny's arm hair alone that he is indeed Italian.
vinny looks like he hasn’t aged in 15 years wtf
I could not imagine trying a tube of what you think is a cheese whip only to taste it and realize its a fish spread.
5:36 Very apt description! Salmiac is actually a salt of ammonia, specifically ammonium chloride. So it's basically just ammonia, except it won't melt your mouth with a pH of 11.
It's like every few seconds, Vinny questions his life decisions. This man is surreal to watch.
16:11 he's honhonhoning AND he's got a butterfly knife. my god, vinny's a spy.
In the French translation of TF2, the Spy speaks with an Italian accent. This can`t be an accident.
Also, if Vinny is the Spy, and Jerma is the Scout, does that mean..?

Kind of impressive that Vinny can taste ammonia in the salmiakki since it's literally ammonium chloride. People who are used to the taste wouldn't probably think of ammonia but rather salmiakki.
I feel like that's why, man, as another American I have no frame of reference for what salmiakki tastes like but I DO know what ammonia SMELLS like
incredible
To me it just tastes like salt with an added sharp taste to it which is hard to describe, certainly doesn't taste anything like the smell of a bottle of ammonia and not anywhere near as strong but I suppose it's in the same neighborhood.
@@smcb9979 It doesn't sting in your nose like ammonia does.
Why does Vinny look like he could play Leon Scott Kennedy in a live action film
It's really impressive to watch such a talented alien puppeteer maneuver his meat puppet with so much dexterity and expressivity while he doesn't even blink or moves for half an hour. What a very talented fella is Mr. Nords
He even helped ship that package over
Vinny knows Joel won’t watch this, because Joel is afraid of Gnorts Species. Well played Mr. pizzapasta
Amazing intro.
I'm enjoying this new direction with real™️ Vinny videos.
Gnorts has been a real gem on this one, what a guy.
He's so charismatic on cam, makes me smile :)
Vinny is good too.
I especially loved how he turned into a weezerd live on Stream
Vinny really manages to create that casual early RUclips feel so well and it always manages to make me feel nostalgic despite this video literally just being posting today.
27:18 is such perfect visual comedy timing, I can't believe Vinny never does on camera stuff and is still so good at visual comedy.
What people don't know is that Joel actually sent him a third box, but for some reason it was cut out of the final video.
Not sure what was wrong with the goat horn dagger and black velvet robe that it was omitted? No idea.
This unlocked memories from when I went to went to Sweden and I was losing my shit at Lidl when I discovered cake or biscuit is written as "Kek".

All these pre recorded videos as of late, I enjoy them greatly when its just you not having to really read a chat and reply to it constantly. I remember those couple pre recorded new horizons vids you did where you just talked about music and stuff, I really dug those
Vinny turning his channel into one of those "tasting candy from accross the world" channels: Day 1.
Joel wrote about *_RAT MILK :)_* in his note to Vinny, i'm so proud :)
Vinny showing up with the Star Trek teleport is hilarious for some reason.
So nice of vinny to set the mood by draping a blanket with Swedish on it over the sofa.
Seeing Vinny on cam is a great treat. Something about how he looks and presents himself is calming and comforting.
Vinny looks like he could've been cast as a minor character in Scott Pilgrim
@@rpghorrorfan879 it's a canadian film based on a comic, where the world is like a video game. he's saying vinny would fit in as a brief character non important to the story
@@rpghorrorfan879 ah, sorry. I think it's his temperament and hair. Also check out the comics if you haven't, I feel like they're significantly better than the movie, but both enjoyable still.
