You and Me was a popular children’s television programme hosted by Australian-born New Zealand entertainer Suzy Cato. The first episode aired in 1992 and more than 2000 episodes were produced in the next seven years.

TVNZ Kidzone was a 24-hour New Zealand children’s channel service run by state broadcaster Television New Zealand. The channel ran on Digital 106, channel 46 on Sky[1] and channel 14 on Igloo. Kidzone was originally a 12-hour service running on former TVNZ channel TVNZ 6. It then ran on TVNZ 7 for a year before its closure in 2012. TVNZ launched TVNZ Kidzone as TVNZ Kidzone24 on 1 May 2011. TVNZ closed the channel on 30 April 2016, due to SKY’s contract with TVNZ expiring at the end of that month. TVNZ 6 showed pre-school programs during the Kidzone block from 6am to 6pm. Until it’s closure at the end of June 2012. TVNZ 7 aired Kidzone from 6am to 8am. Kidzone also received a 24-hour channel on Sky TV called Kidzone24.[2]
At Launch At the very start of TVNZ 6’s launch the public service channel had originally structured its daily schedule as 3 separate services titled: TVNZ Kidzone (which had run from 6am to 4:00), TVNZ Family (4:00 to 8:30), and TVNZ Showcase (8:30 to midnight - while TVNZ 6 had closed down at midnight to 6am).
