I absolutely love using my ipad for teaching at the college level! Such a great resource and these tips offered excellent ideas for even more uses. I'm teaching mostly online now and I still use it just as much if not more now.
Hai, I love ur video about using ipad, by lecturer or teacher perspective because there are few video about ipad from teacher perspective. I'm dying want to know how you guys using it in grading assignment which android tablet using Kami application that link with Google drive, grade it, save it and update at google drive. As for ipad, how it can grade it??
With Canvas, you can grade assignments and give feedback on your iPad if students turn in assignments as Microsoft Word documents. Not sure if it’d work with a PDF in the same way. Quizzes and discussion posts can also be graded on an iPad using Canvas. Not sure about other LMS.
I annotate PDFs on my iPad using Good Notes or Notes Writer. You can annotate in those apps and then send those PDFs via email or Google Drive. Here’s an old video I have about Good Notes: ruclips.net/video/mBgOS-hoYrI/видео.html
I have a 5th generation iPad. The Apple Pencil doesn’t work with it, so you might want a newer one. I would look into potentially getting a refurbished iPad, as that will knock down the price quite a bit. I think the 5th general iPad goes for about $200.

Glad you found more uses for it! What's the main way you use it when teaching fully online?
