Another video from you that I really like. You explain so clearly and make it very easy to follow. I will definitely add Pear Deck to my tools. Thank you
Hi Dr. Romero, this is such a nice tool that would help me integrate interactive activities into my classroom without having to design separate handouts, slides, etc. I’m just worried that I may face technical issues setting this up in class, or if students struggle to log into it. Great video anyways! And I wanted to ask if you could give us some general tips on designing fun and interactive classroom activities for a foreign language class specifically. I only found about your channel recently, and I will be watching your video on ‘Best Teaching Practices’ as soon as I get the chance.
Hi, Hani. Yes, a tech issue is always possible. If Pear Deck doesn’t work properly when you try to use it in class, you can still fall back on using the regular Google slides presentation and just have students answer those specific interactive slides verbally. I didn’t have any tech issues using it this semester, but you never know when tech will not work as you want it to. I’ll give some thought to interactive activities for a foreign language class. I haven’t taught one before, but I’ll see what activity ideas might be a good fit. Until that video, here’s my playlist specifically about class activity ideas: ruclips.net/p/PL_YC6ZMWyQ-zUpV-UVmqW7ERKoXz4eBZB
Sometimes I've discovered that students may not have access to their own computer or device or the internet connection is extremely low in some classrooms but all in all it still seems like the students enjoy doing it. I would just suggest trying it out once and asking them for feedback. Best wishes!

This is an excellent idea to use Pear Deck in F2F classes during the lecture. Great way to engage the students. Thanks so much for sharing!
Yes, such a great tool!
