COOL Music Group when it dropped in 2013 was around the first time I started messing around with weed and eventually acid, all through freshman year and got caught the friday before spring break with a couple friends by the intercoastal when some old dude called the cops on us. I was on probation for 6 months and had to go on a jail tour. Life changing experiences but this whole album brings back those memories and its a little nostalgic.

I mean i like chance more than i like logic. For me they're numbers 1 and 2, like my favorite. And in my opinion chance makes better MUSIC, and i love how he raps because its unique and different. But Logic is a better rapper than chance, and a better lyricist. Like chance has some better lines and paranoia is amazing lyrically, but Logic is an AMAZING lyricist. Listen to gang related by logic. First verse is his Point of view as a 15 year old, second is his brothers point of view. And come back here and try to say he's not a great lyricist. I like chance more but it should be illegal to logic even decent

He actually goes off the top. There's a difference between freestyle and off the top of the dome. Freestyle is a random beat with a written verse, still hard though because you have to nail it, and think of one of your verses that go with it. Off the top is straight winging it, and it takes an incredible amount of skill

honestly you'd be suprised at how many songs are made just from freestyling. it's how i'm formulating an album atm. you gotta make hooks and verses about things around you when your freestyling cause that's the best feeling when spitting rhymes to me atleast, and when you do that you flow some WU (witty unpredictable) bars and then 4 bars then a verse then a hook then by the time you see what you have written you have a song

This is better than 99% of freestyles out there because it's truly off the top and not prewritten like every freestyle you hear on the radio today. I think it's far more impressive and you get genuine moments of the artist tying crazy bars together on the spot.
