I really wrote a paper on why Acid rap is the greatest mixtape of all time. Special place in my heart
omg i wanna read it
That's awesome dude!
This album has such a special place in my heart- so dope to see this come full circle.
Acid Rap has to be one of the best mixtapes ever. A timeless classic.
"10 Day" & "Acid Rap" means so much to me! It got me through a lot of stuff so did "Coloring Book" it broke my heart when it was "The Big Day" for him tho hope he can come back with the soul minus the mumble rap on the next project! We need the real Chance back with real hip-hop and real hip-hop features none of the mainstream trash that he thinks people want! Be the real you Chance, make music for no one but yourself like you used too and people will love it again!!
Mm

Acid Rap got me through the worst! Beyond grateful for this project!
2013 was the best release year of my adult life for hiphop, and this project has a lot to do with that. Flowers to Chance and all those involved💐

The fact that he was 20 when he put out acid rap. I dont think people even understand how insane that is
Top 3 rap albums of my generation for sure

Uh oh
Hip hop ain't owned by us, you own yours- your hip hop is good for you and those you build with. But hip hop in the popular imagination has not survived as a memoir to black liberation
OR as a business. Hip hop has become a lick
Hip hop isn’t just black music like they’re trying to say in the video
They cut him off the moment the hip hop is a black culture comment
No way it's been a decade take that back 😠
Chance Acid Rap was great. It’s time to drop a new classic
Hip hop isn’t just black music. Latin Americans and even some white people where involved behind the scenes when Hip Hop was new. It may have been mostly black at the forefront but no one race created Hip Hop.
100% agreed with this. I get where he was coming from, but I feel like he was pulling out some filler statements there.
@@benramos7901 it’s just a really bold statement to say today. Hip hop sure isn’t black music these days. It’s such a diverse genre and that’s what makes it good. Even looking back at some of the acts in the 80s there was still diversity people forget about. The 90s changed everyones perception.
Id like to know what he means by black people aren’t liberated now. Like what rights and liberties are missing?
There were a lot of good songs on Big Day. Fans are fickle
There's like 3-4 good songs. Big fish is one of em.
Acid rap has no skips.
