Thanks for reacting to this rare gem. I found this a few years ago and still find it deeply moving. I saw RQ live in London earlier this year and they were excellent, such energy, talent and professionalism from these lovely and gracious young ladies.
This and the new song they put out a few days ago, "Victory", notice music sounds like 80's metal sound. They did a cover a song from one of my favorite bands, "Accept". That's the impression i get, perhaps because I'm 58 years old. I do love these girls.
Tim, many thanks for your review, truly appreciated. 부활, Boohwal (Romanised from Korean), literal translation Born Again is one of the most iconic Korean rock bands from the 80s. Their English language album covers had “Born Again” and later “Bohhwal” band name on, I’m not aware of any “Resurrection” version, it could only be due to translation. The Story of You and the Rain was released on their first album and they still play it on every live performance. The song over the years has been covered many times by many bands and singers but in my opinion this RQ adaptation is one of, if not the best. This cover is full of emotions, fully reflects the loss of the first love and the “salanghaeyo” (love you in English) at the end by Jayoung is just incredible. Thanks again.
So good to see this band starting to get the world wide recognition they deserve I just wish they had a little more charisma 😝 just kidding of course, these ladies ooze charisma and it is delightful. Thanks and Tim and for what it's worth I find tequila is great for my allergies, well it doesn't really improve the condition but I certainly forget about it for several hours 😁👍🍻
LOL, I had a very bad night long ago where I thought tequila was my friend, then it stabbed me in the back(or stomach...whatever). I can no longer be in the same room with it or I am required to fight it to the death.
