Yes! I’ve been using S1 for a year and a half and I personally love that you’ll be going “slow” for beginners. It’s so helpful for older guys like me who aren’t very computer savvy. Most DAW tutorials go so fast, whether they’re for beginners or experts. Thank you so much for this 🙏
Hope the pace of the tutorial is OK. While editing I feel like I may have been going a bit too fast! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Best.
I had to thumbs up this video before it was even over. I can't wait until I get my Presonus mixer. I am not leaving Fl Studio but I love the UI of this DAW. Thank you for this in depth tutorial.
I’m amazed by how easy and intuitive this daw is. Currently using FL Studio for production and Reaper for recording/mix/master and I might just make a switch to studio one for both. Years ago I tried it and it was less intuitive than it is now. I will also follow other tutorials, you explained everything great and it’s easy to follow, you got a sub.
Nice, I started out on PreSonus back in 2010. When I went to college I swapped to Logic Pro X and even though I've squeezed amazing results out of it..... The automation and chaotic file storing system makes me want to pull my hair out. Tonight I had a template crash, corrupt, lose files ( I got the no audio files found error/bug) and automation was giving me sass my entire work period before it all just died. Enough is enough and I bought Studio One without even thinking. I think it's gonna feel nice getting back to my roots.
Welcome back. I hope that your experience with Studio One is better than what you've had with Logic as of lately. No DAW is perfect and I do hear some folks complain about instability with S1, but I myself very rarely experience issues. I do keep my 3rd-party plugins at a minimum, however. I'm running on Windows 11 with a pretty low spec laptop. Good luck!
I recently downloaded the 2 month trial of Cubase and found its interface to be quite awful. Way to busy and a bit dated. It's interesting how subjective these things are. For me, the Studio One interface is like a dream.

Looking forward to your Fundamentals course for this version. Want to give it to my daughter.
thanks for what you do. this is my first daw.
Thank you. After decades of using Cakewalk, I decided to try S1. This video is answering a lot of questions.
Even though I know how to use S1... a refresher is always great!
Glad you found some use out of it, Carsten. And thanks for the coffee, it is much appreciated! Hope all is well with you.
@ all is well! Hopefully for you too. Haven't upgraded yet actually, but this tutorial inspires me to do so, probably after finishing a project.

Got my copy to find out I can’t use any of my thousands of Splice sounds. I can only view favorites and purchase new ones.
dang I'm on a Mac
All you have to do is use the equivalent keys on the Mac whenever I use "ctrl" or "alt".
💥👍🤝💥
The GUI is bad (washed out, not clear) & the MIDI-Features very poor compared to Cubase. Otherwise good DAW.
