Make-A-Wish Kid Bailey Joins Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever for Shootaround at Las Vegas

- Make-A-Wish kid Bailey Lux flew from Iowa to Las Vegas to watch the Indiana Fever at Las Vegas game in T-Mobile Arena. Bailey joined the Fever at shootaround and was given an honorary spot on the roster, as well as a jersey & gifts.
I teach third-grade elementary school. Something I have learned is that when a student gives you something they made that is the HIGHEST sign of affection they can give. They have no money, it comes straight from their heart. This video brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Indiana Fever for thinking of those who find so much pleasure in what you do for a living. They go out of their way to express their love and gratitude for who you are and do for them. Thank you!

Retired teacher here, who experienced the loss of two students (high school age) to cancer. One was at the beginning of my career in 1973, the other toward the end of my career in 2004. Both heart wrenching losses. But both girls fought like the dickens to make it and both exhibited tremendous courage, perseverance and positivity in a battle they were hoping to win, but ultimately succumbed to.
Here's wishing Baily Lux best wishes as she continues the fight.

This is what being a role model is all about, taking time out to recognize others and making the world a better place to be in. So many of the new WNBA fans are kids, especially young girls who are looking for heroes in their life. This is why it’s important to have a league that embraces goodness, fairness and humbleness. this was at an upcoming Fever/Aces tilt earlier in the season. Kate Martin and the Aces had a very similar day with Bailey. as far as im concerned both organizations stood to and gave this young lady a fantastic experience, cheering her on in her battle to go 2 and 0 against Cancer.

Ever hear of the Iowa Children's Hospital. You can see the football field where the Hawkeyes play. Between the first and second quarters, players and the crowd wave to the children. And when the Iowa women played a basketball game on the field, same thing.

This is real LIFE, we all love basketball and it's a fun game to watch. But this is where the rubber meets the road! As the Fever vs Ace's shoot hoop's Bailey is playing the game of LIFE, I PRAY she WINS. I'm so glad Caitlin and crew could make her WISH come true! My Mom fought the battle with breast cancer and my sister finished her breast cancer treatments 2 years ago. I'm sure Bailey Lux will never forget her night in Vegas with the Fever Team! I heard there were over 20,000 fans as they had to change to a BIGGER venue!
