Quality, real-world content Adam. Will no doubt prove to be massively useful to individuals and organisations getting to grips with all Snowflake offers
Snowflake doesn’t dictate the modelling technique used. Think of it as a blank canvas for your data warehousing olap (and now oltp workloads using unistore!). Typically I see kimball star schemas or data vault techniques
It comes down to personal preference from what I’ve experienced. I see customer using both star schemas and data vault (not many using 3NF). People use what they’re comfortable with and what their teams are experienced in. Snowflake will support either approach well.
I think you should name this video understanding snowflake data platform for beginners who already know a bunch of acronyms and concepts about data analytics. And then make another video for real beginners. Imagine you are talking to a niece or nephew who is in 10th grade.
Excellent easy-to-understand introduction to Snowflake. The postal service analogy is a really effective way of explaining it too. Thanks.
A short and crisp video ensuring you get the fundamentals right with the snowflake. I like the way you compared it to the postal service :)
Thanks Renjith! Glad it helped
Excellent beginner tutorial with an analogy that will help retain the information well. Thanks!
Great start Adam
Very well explained and loved the pace of sharing information
Excellent Adam
Finished watching
Thank you for this video!
Wonderful!
Please share any ideas for future content too! Thank you 😀
Nice, that was really helpful! Thanks!
Great content Adam, eagerly awaiting the next video

Awesome content!
What data modeling technique is used in the snowflake environment?

Nice. Please make a video on tasks, streams, clustering, stored procedures, cloning, etc in snowflake ❄️
What data modeling techniques are used for this technology i..e. 3NF, dimensional, data vault? There has to be some structure preferred

Virtual Warehouse is something like a View in an good old RDBMS?
No - it is CPU and memory to run queries against your data
This is great information. I am taking notes for sure. Do you recommend any books or sites to learn about Oracle EPM?
I am a beginner.
Thank you
I don’t specialise in Oracle I’m afraid

I think it’s a valid point!
