At 24:06 you are mentioning full ACID compliance but recommended OLAP only, not OLTP. That is a very strong limitation. So where does it come from ?
Snowflake does not support constraints and single row update is very expensive and slow.. and that's why not suitable for OLTP workload.

Good idea.. but I request if you can watch ch-19 (ruclips.net/video/9FejjGVZrPg/видео.html) and let me know if you need more advance tutorial..
Suggest if you have any specific use case in mind.. which is very common and need a video.
where i can get above material
Hello sir, I'm working in other domain and now I wanted to move on into snowflake and I'm good in SQL, will these training sessions were enough to get into snowflake domain.
Could you please suggest..
Yes, you can learn Snowflake easily.. it is much simpler tool compare to other tool and if you know basic project execution methodology in data space + sql .. you can learn it..
if you have any specific query or doubt.. drop me a msg in my instagram.. ruclips.net/user/DataEngineeringSimplified
Can a non tech individual learn Snowflake, if he/she is AWS Cloud Practitioner certified and preparing for AWS Solution Architect certification , also what are career prospects of Snowflake? Thanks in advance
Yes, however some degree of SQL knowledge and cloud awareness will certainly help.

are there any pdf or ppt available for these chapters please?
It would be great if the data model was covered here, it almost seems like the tool is doing everything and not following some kind of structure that a data model will provide in creating the physical design. At leat I would like to see that.
Good suggestion, will do it in separate video.
Question 4 should be a and b right?
it is not shared disk..it is shared data and shared compute
@@DataEngineering thanks
is it possible to get these ppt in an email or could you share the link in the email ?
Thanks for your note... they are rich content and hard to convert them into PPT or PDF but you can download the entire playlist summary via this cheat sheet.

From where I can access the power point notes
sorry.. they are not power points.. my contents are available in my blog pages and my medium pages .. the content what you see is hard to share.. due to its big size and rich media type (not-ppt)..
I recently started sharing my content via udemy as it allows me to share the resources/code/ppt etc..and yes, I know many of us are not fully aware of snowpark Python API, if you want to manage snowflake more programatically.. you can watch my paid contents (data + code available) .. many folks don't know the power of snowpark... these 2 videos... will help you to broaden your knowledge..
These contents are available in discounted price for limited time.. (one for JSON and one for CSV).. it can automatically create DDL and DML and also run copy command...

@@DataEngineering website content is no match for this presentations ,please share it for Data community growth !
sir plz provide any pdf documentation to read
Answers to QUIZ question 9 are incomplete, should include point E also:
"The cloud services layer
If Snowflake detects that an availability zone has become unavailable, the cloud services layer can reprovision the impacted virtual warehouse in a different zone and restart queries that have been in process to ensure that they complete successfully."
Text is not visible as it is on a color background.
Thanks for the feedback..my other vides are taking care of that feedback...
sir i want pdf for snowflake
There is no pdf dear, the are reach media and very heavy files, will share the sharable content via my website. Please wait, once publish, will let you know.
Y only olap y not oltp
OLTP needs RDBMS and snowflake can not enforce relationships, referential integrity as well as many contraints... that's why it is called Cloud Data Warehouse and not cloud RDBMS... hope this clarifies..
Can someone plz explain question 11
you may load data and delete them in same day.... so at the end of the month..when storage cost is calculated.. it is done based on avg cost of the store.. and all data is stored in compressed format..
