    I've had mine for a while and now I can't fly without them. Using rudder peddles with a flight sim makes flying so much better especially in prop aircraft such as the warbirds you find in IL-2 or DCS World.

    Your review was pretty spot on! I just received mine and I'm very pleased with them. For its price its very decent quality, the build is very hard plastic so it doesn't flex or creak on pressure. I have a Warthog HOTAS and this seems to complement it very well.

      Halfway up the cable is a rectangular plastic box. On one side is a very tiny switch that allows you to use these as rudder pedals or racing pedals (accelerator and brake). Check that you are on flight mode.

  • @ArcherAC3
    @ArcherAC3 Год назад +1

    I just can't get used to it, I'm about to apply some lubricant to it's moving parts, wonder if anyone else has the same issue: they feel way too "sticky" for you to have precise controls with your muscles.
    What happens is that I have to use an irregular amount of force on my feet for it to move, I keep pressing slightly harder and harder for it to finally move, so it's impossible to be precise because I either don't move it at all or apply too much force and move it too much, it's pretty hard to apply just enough force for it to just move slightly.

    Rudder pedals just now in operation in MS Flight Simulator 2020: The pedals are recognized unter "controls" and the display bar also shows the corresponding deflection. In the normal position , the bar display is in the middle (= ok).When used on an aircraft, the rudders always return to zero position despite full permanent left or right actuation (if you press "0" or "enter" on the keyboard, the rudders remain in their angled position). Can anyone help?

    • @gerrypi51
      @gerrypi51 3 года назад +1

      Problem solved: if you set "rudder axis" to "reverse axis", the assignments in "rudder left / right" are not automatically changed.
      The correct setting is (make it manually!):
      Reverse axis deactivated: rudder right = joystick L-axis Z-, rudder left = joystick L-axis Z +
      Reverse axis activated: Rudder right = joystick L-axis Z +, rudder left = joystick L-axis Z-
      Which is actually the correct setting that can be found in the real aircraft? Left before = right curve or vice versa?
      Full deflection now works perfectly, but the rudder "flutters" when adjusted slightly, so precise control is not possible. Possibly Software problem, similar to the current error in the elevator trim Airbus ...

    Just ordered the tpr pedals, the t-flight pedals are just too sticky and stiff for helicopters. If you get the t-flight pedals, make sure you keep the metal rods clean and greasy

    I have the T.16000M and the Yaw control completely broke on the inside, meaning I am basically forced to look at rudder pedals...

    What rudder pedals do you recommend purchasing that’s good quality and under$200 range?

    Do these work on fs2020 or nah, I’ve purchased them based off this review and I can’t get it to work properly on the rudder axis.

      I've got the same problem. It can see them in the control options and it works fine in the Thrustmaster config app; just doesn't respond within the FS2020 play

      Ok so I did get it to work... the problem is I don’t really know how or why it started working - so sorry I can’t give you great instructions. Installing the device driver and the calibrater didn’t seem to help. I was getting this issue where the rudder axis was weird where right rudder wasn’t registering. To reset what actually seemed to do it was the switch in the back by the usb plug in. Cycled that and it seemed to start working. Hopefully this does the trick for you

    ok i think i will get this and just mod them so i can simulate a gundam cockpit.... i mean i can get the vkb omni gladiator accessory for my hosas set up... plus modding this to metal plates and a better springs... it might actually be good enough... now i just need something like a massage-chair-like chair that is not too restrictive.... and i would be almost done with my gundam cockpit... i can imagine it... i will pilot a simulated gundam robot somehow....

    I am considering replacing my 20 year old CH Pro pedals and I'm wondering if it's worth replacing it with this?

    At the moment, I am MOST concerned about construction quality. I've owned the Cessna rudder pedals (two sets, over time) and one set of Saitek/Logitech Pro Flight rudder pedals. The Saitek set broke yesterday just like the two Cessna sets did previously and ALL for the same reason: one end of the springs that return the brakes to neutral is connected to the potentiometer assembly by a small, L-shaped plastic hook. Considering that the plastic hooks are ALWAYS under constant stress from spring tension even when the pedals are in neutral, it is absolutely INEVITABLE that the PLASTIC hooks ARE going to yield to the METAL springs and break off from fatigue eventually. Coincidentally, when the hook broke, it jarred the inner workings of the right pedal enough that it caused one of the terminal clips connected to the potentiometer to loosen just enough for the potentiometer to lose signal and send my airplane (I was taxiing at the time) into a tight right circle that I was unable to regain control of. Had the plastic piece been made of aluminum (costing only a few dollars/cents more at most), the problem NEVER would have occurred in ANY of the rudder pedal brands. Does anybody know of ANY rudder pedals that are designed and manufactured correctly? I don't mind paying for quality, but when I do, I want to GET quality. (And, yes, I'm a mechanical engineer.)

    Why you don’t use rudder when airborne. You should use simultaneously rudder and ailerons

    3:13 Well ... or if you like to fly a realistic helicopter simulation (it's almost impossible on a stick without rudder pedals)

  • @pleo9215
    @pleo9215 4 года назад +1

    Maybe you should make another video using this pedals on a combat simulator (War Thunder or IL-2) because in that environment they are really useful if not essential. Also the pedals are too close together causing stress on your knees on the long run. The lack of tea drinking and the word "honest" on the title are unacceptable.
