  • Alvin Robertson refuses to go down in a sweep and furiously keeps driving to the basket for some acrobatic and difficult lay-ups. May 1, 1990.

Awesome player, very underrated. He could do it all, today he would pick Lebron's pocket everytime. These old Bucks gave Jordan a run for his money.
The Fred Roberts jam was awesome!

I GOT TO WATCH ALVIN ROBERTSON WHEN HE WAS WITH THE SPURS,HE WAS A EXCELLENT DEFENDER AND HE PLAYED HARD AND NEVER BACKED DOWN. DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES AND HE'S IN HOF

LeBum would have been locked up by Alvin Robertson. One of the best on-ball defenders in NBA history. Today's 'elite' defenders don't come close

You don’t really want Alvin Robertson to guard 6’8” 260 LeBron who was superior to any perimeter player in that era in terms of basketball ability, size, strength, and athleticism combined. You just think you do.

You’d have done better saying MAYBE Rodman, hater. A.R. don’t have enough sand in his pants to stop a freight train like LeBron.

Might be the best overall NBA game from Alvin Robertson!!! Stout!!!

Jordan v. Lohaus is one awkward matchup... The Bucks has a very strange roster but a very well disciplined squad, pretty impressively combining strange mix of talent.

@6:23. Greg "Cadillac" Anderson, one of my NBA favorite nicknames of all time.

He drove a big ass ten speed around U of H campus. I think Elvin Hayes gave it to him. And they called it his Cadillac

Another underrated guy in this game was Ricky Pierce. The guy was almost instant offense for the bucks and then the Sonics.

Alvin played much taller than his height. I don't think people realized his vertical jump was 36-38 inches, and he'd go over tall players by jumping into them slightly.

Alvin didn't seem all that impressive but, he was always very productive. Players who produce but, aren't flashy always make me think they are very strong physically. Like Mitch Richmond also. These two didn't jump extraordinarily high or weren't blazing fast or quick but, they must've been very strong so they could not be knocked off balance on shots or defense.

If you lived in Milwaukee or San Antonio Alvin impressed annually. He got little recognition playing in small markets.

I don't know why the Spurs let him go. David would have won a championship much earlier if Alvin was still around.

It was because of all of his off the court problems the Spurs parted ways

Wow...Alvin Robertson. He seemed to be a pretty good player, especially for the Spurs and the Bucks, but could never really get his head on straight...SMH. He could have easily been one of the best of all-time.

Fred Roberts keeps tripping me out in these videos Im watching. Seems like hes in every game and when I find one he's not in I end up seeing him in a commercial. Just starting to get really weird.
