My kids are also always in and out of our backyard and leave the door open so what I do is put a fan on the floor facing the door sideways and it helps soooo much to keep the flies out!

My favorite non-fiction author is Gretchen Rubin. She is probably most famous for The Happiness Project, which I will confess I have read 3 times, I enjoyed it so much. Whenever she has a new book out I always get it from the library. One of the things I like about her, she lives in New York City and she talks about her family's life in the city. I have always lived in the country near small towns so I enjoyed learning about big city life. I love your videos, you are a positive force in my life.

This is the first year we are using a fly trap in the house too! I got mine at the dollar tree. 3 for $1! Our dogs are in and out in and out, all day and the flys are SO BAD! They make me crazy! I hate the way it looks in the house, but I HATE FLYS WORSE! haha. Glad to see you're using one too. Love your videos girl.

Hahaha the fly trap is a genius idea honestly! My kids are the same and leave the doors open. Flies are always bad here in Arkansas though! My weenie dog catches them🤣

I reccomend "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin DeBecker! We just read it for my book club and some of the girls said the title scared them a bit but in the end said it was definitely worth reading.
My suggestion for flys are to use a 16 oz soda bottle put in a banana and some honey. You can research on how to cut the bottle but they can't get out. Last year I had some inside and outside and I probably caught over 100 flies. Be careful not to catch bees and such.
My daughter just turned 5 and she has been changing her clothes 3 times a day for well over a year now!!! It drives me nuts 😂 unfortunately I don’t think it will get any better I’m going to be stuck washing her entire wardrobe every other day 🤦🏻♀️
