Will you come with me? Won't you come with me? There's no better place to take a long strange trip with the Grateful Dead than right here. We've got music from every single studio album and a bevy of live albums, to boot. There are celebrated live performances from the 70s and 80s and official videos with more skeletons than you can shake your bones at, an exclusive seaside series on what's to come from the band's rich catalog and details on meet-ups all across the promised land. If it's community you’re after, try your hand at our yearly DEAD COVERS PROJECT competition and connect with fellow Dead Heads around the world. Heck, keep your eyes peeled you might even catch a glimpse of Pigpen on keys, Jerry in a GROOVE, Bobby tellin' tales, Mickey talkin' space, Phil and friends, Bill on the beach, or anyone from our extended family.
It's all happenin' right here. Subscribe and you won't miss a thing.

Perhaps "the end of the *first set?"

D'oh!
"Nailed a retread to my feet and prayed for better weather..
First man takes the sails
second takes the afterdeck
the third, the planks and rails
Absolutely one of my favorite songs!!! Ive seen several tribute bands open up their first set with this song, which means "it's a kick!" As Jerry said on the Angels Share version 😂
What's the point in callin' shots, this cue ain't straight in line
The most underrated Dead song of all-time
And Billy is the most underrated drummer of all time
Englishtown. Period. 😉
G get hearing aids that can help you enjoy the music and the song s
1977-09-03 MissHalfStep, it's a helluva ride.
Always like the connection between 1/2 step and UJB - a powder charge to seal that silver mine you live in. Make of it what you will. All of these songs are so strong - long live the Dead.
Across the Rio Grande-Ooooooooooo!!!
❤
"Lost my boots in transit.....a pile of smoking leather"
One of my favorites, from an album I haven't heard much from. Thanks✌️
Wake of the Flood 1973
❤
Cool. Cheers from Costa Rica
Pura Vida ✌️😎
8/30/81 my favorite
On my waaaay ….
Again, given the stories about the wind at this show -- Billy claiming he thought a few speakers were going to fall on him -- what I have heard sounds quite good; good balance, wonderful sound stage, great vocals, and solid performances.
I dont know how he played under that thing!
He made them double or triple up the rigging holding it weight. And later, you can see his kit is pulled out from underneath it, i believe.
🍉
Love you from Philly!!!
Love from Harrisburg! 💀⚡️
Born in Philly here 😺 The music never stops!

Across the lazy river…. 🎶
Thanks for keeping the music of the dead alive in these very uncertain times.
I think Jerry would be very upset if he was still here, as to the way things are going down on a world scale.
This song is from Wake of the Flood not Mars Hotel.
Yes, but this show release is part of the Mars Hotel 50th release.
I agree it’s a strange one to feature like this. Great version tho
Jersey city yes

Can’t hear Bobby at all
Really? He is in the left channel. You can hear his fills throughout this -- and they are extremely clear. Jerry and Phil are in the middle (Jerry more to the left side of the middle and Phil more to the right side of the middle) and Keith is on the right. His vocals are a bit lower -- Phil and Donna are a bit high in the mix -- but you can hear him there too.
Good
I'm glad you love Bobby but I can hear him in the left channel as well. Most of what is playing while Jerry's sings is piano and clean guitar from Bobby. Jerry's guitar sounds way twangier. I love these guys so much! Existentially good version of this song too. 🎉
If you mean during the "across the rio" part, his vocals ARE hard to hear during that spot.
