Jean breathing in space makes sense because you can see that she can create telekinetic force fields even in the car wreck at the beginning of the movie. These telekinetic force fields are enough to withstand the pressures of space and give her a reservoir of oxygen.
6:11 Jules you stupid Sentinel... (not really you're the best) in this movie universe the X most likely does stand for Xavier. Her response is "No you all are something different...X-Men." Now that is a bit of an assumption that it does stand for Xavier, but his immediate response is "Oh I do like the sound of that."
Jules you silly sentinel. Number 29, Storm freezing the ship. Yeah a bit put there but Storm does figure out in the Chris Claremont run of the comics that she can control the solar winds and storms.
I loved loved loved the dig at the MCU. In a movie where they yet again effed up the Dark Phoenix story, they made a reference to their characters being forcibly abducted by the people who could possibly actually give us that story without completely effing it up.

If Thanos came to your mind, then it’s safe to assume you’re not a fan of the franchise. Everything else you got right tho. :)
I have a in-movie solution for 24. (kid holding a sign "Marry me") According to 32. (Xavier and Magneto being 60 while looking 40), that kid looking 12 is actually over 30, so perfectly capable of marrying anybody. :-D
I think it's pretty stupid how Magneto even thought he can kill Jean so easily like it's his call. Didn't he witness her obliterate Apocalypse in the previous movie when he couldn't even do a thing to him? And that was even before she got the Phoenix? Or even in the earlier scene where it literally took him 100%+ of his effort and powers to lift a helicopter away from Jean's control over it, when he can easily levitate football stadiums?
But then and again in last stand at the end (battle) people was turning to dust sooooo. Dark Phoenix could of used the dust part from last stand and not the thanos part

Magneto was completely unnecessary in this film. Didn’t need to be in it at all. Funny that the chick that Vuk abducts is basically killed along with Vuk by the Phoenix and no one seems to care or realize it lol
Im so angry they completely discarded quicksilver
Its so fucking wrong
I don't care what anyone says. I love Sophie turner as Jean Grey and Micheal fassbender as magneto. I love the emotions they put into the performances and would love to see them as part of the MCU
Totally agree with everything, except your confusion that Jean could knock people out... Telepath?
Justin Moore he’s not confused about how, he’s confused about why she lays them down so gently. I guess questioning why she cares so much when it’s at those points the dark Phoenix is in control. Make sense? No? Hahaha yeah.....
Thano's wasn't the first to dust people it was Jean Grey in x-men last stand shot years before infinity war
There was no emotional Umf from Mystique's death anyway because no one liked Jennifer playing the character. The emotional Umf means they killed Rebecca's version of the character in X1
What this film needed... is 'More Cowbell'!!! 🤣🤣🤣
That is truly a beautiful beard.
You forgot to mention how the rays of Storm simply wasn't affecting in frying the aliens.
“JEAN! Jean. GeNe!!! jean.”-Cyclops
You forgot about jean getting her powers again for the 2nd time but never losing them at the beginning of the movie
Wow Jules! All this inspiring kindness and optimism is awesome. It really does make me feel better as well. Thanks man!
Great video guys. But yes; the pheonix does make science not work.
Fun list, but yes, ice can be formed in space. That is what comets are made from. There isn't moisture, everything is already freezing, so ice can't be naturally form, but if you have a moisture source, you can technically make ice in space....NOT as much as was shown, maybe enough for a snowball?
Jewels!! I’m so happy to see you in what culture videos :)))
I do love the suits though
Ice actually can form in space, some of the material in the rings of Saturn are ice.
But you still make a good point about the weather and Storm's powers. No atmosphere= no weather
Jean breathing in space makes sense because you can see that she can create telekinetic force fields even in the car wreck at the beginning of the movie. These telekinetic force fields are enough to withstand the pressures of space and give her a reservoir of oxygen.
You guys are really beating this dead horse aren’t you
6:11 Jules you stupid Sentinel... (not really you're the best) in this movie universe the X most likely does stand for Xavier. In the closing moments of X-Men: First Class, Moira McTaggart (Rose Byrne) responds to Charles' question of whether they are still G-Men (Federal Agents) in the eyes of the government.
I loved when nightcrawler couldn't breath in space without a helmet but jean could without a helmet
I loved loved loved the dig at the MCU. In a movie where they yet again effed up the Dark Phoenix story, they made a reference to their characters being forcibly abducted by the people who could possibly actually give us that story without completely effing it up.
What about mystique being nightcrawlers mother. And also mystique never being a part of the dark Pheonix saga . She was actively still a villian during that time. She joins only to split up rogue and gambit and she's posing as a young girl named Foxx. I hate these messed up fox versions of X-Men
You were wrong on two points.
34. They used this song on purpose despite the year. It is an Easter egg.
1. You must’ve not seen The Last Stand. Thanos completely ripped Dark Phoenix off. Turning people into ash is how Dark Phoenix killed literally everyone in The Last Stand. She even used this power in X-Men Apocalypse. If Thanos came to your mind, then it’s safe to assume you’re not a fan of the franchise.
Everything else you got right tho. :)
The whole turn to ash thing is a throwback to xmen 3 the last stand. Where the Phoenix did the same thing
I have a in-movie solution for 24. (kid holding a sign "Marry me") According to 32. (Xavier and Magneto being 60 while looking 40), that kid looking 12 is actually over 30, so perfectly capable of marrying anybody. :-D
The quicksilver bit really Pissed me off because that was the only bit that these movies could do right
That Gucci coat; knife and bullet proof.
Pantene shampoo; makes you hair silky, shiny and levitate in slowmo 🌚
Ik this is off topic but where are you from?
I think it's pretty stupid how Magneto even thought he can kill Jean so easily like it's his call. Didn't he witness her obliterate Apocalypse in the previous movie when he couldn't even do a thing to him? And that was even before she got the Phoenix? Or even in the earlier scene where it literally took him 100%+ of his effort and powers to lift a helicopter away from Jean's control over it, when he can easily levitate football stadiums?
Hey, it's Jules!:)
Do some research before you claim that "weather" is needed to form ice. That's just stupid...
But then and again in last stand at the end (battle) people was turning to dust sooooo. Dark Phoenix could of used the dust part from last stand and not the thanos part
That Cyclops f-bomb though ........... (yikes....)
the most wtf moment i think in dark phoenix for me is:... when quick silver is not fast enough to run on the debris to stop jean gray and let her move debris away from him (while in x man back from future he is fast enough that every move looks like it's stopping for him)
The biggest WTF moment is when they name the school after Jean, the person who killed Mystique, IM DEAD SERIOUS
I do agree that her name should be on the school but she didn't kill mystique on purpose
Someone doesn't understand how the phoenix force works. It operates outside the realm of science.
If they ever explained how it affects things that would help a lot
@@buddyfreak because its cosmic energy the same energy that created the universe it can pretty much do anything. It operates outside of physics. The evil alien woman actually explains that in detail when she takes jean back to her apartment. She even drops a line that kind of stuck with me "This energy can turn dust into water and water into life." I mean if that doesn't operate outside the laws of science nothing does. lol
@@supersizesenpai well I'm saying it just needs to be explained better in the movie. Especially for the casual X-men fan or movie goer
@@buddyfreak it was explained in full detail in the movie. everything i just told you came from the movie. They even gave you visuals to go with it. So not sure what else needed to be said.
@@supersizesenpai that it can defy physics and all that junk. Or explain anything someone would have a question about. I got it all seen it a few times on the animated series and stuff. I'm not confused about any of it. So Didn't have a concern.
I thought the aliens in the movie were supposed to be skrulls
They were *suppose* to be, but I assume because Disney owns the Skrulls they went with the "something else that changes shape" and did not do it well
That's what some people are saying but it doesn't make sense, Disney already owned the skrulls so no one could use them, so this whole Skrull thing is just damage control and finger pointing.
Literally they are pointing fingers at everything right now
Where'd you get your tshirt?
Ice man’s power is to freeze time, having no entropy, the object or space, freezes.
They try to establish the Nightcrawler transport rules at the beginning (as always) but several times including in the space ship to rescue the last commander who was in a separate part of the ship and also on the train tracks when he drops the alien infront of the train, does it disregard them.
im watching this to tie me over until cinemasins' does 'everything wrong with dark phoenix'
The best moment of X Men Dark Phoenix is leaving the theater.
#28 duct tape can be used to seal some small things like cracks , holes etc...like they showed in the Martian not an entire helmet but yeah
Jules: "So, with that in mind-- you don't want to read mine..."
Me: Reading my mind is even worse. You'll end up off your trolley within 30 seconds.
Never going to forgive them for doing Quicksilver so dirty.
Oh Jules you’re actually possibly wrong about number 29
Because some scientists believe that the atmosphere doesn’t become space until well beyond the moon
So an orbiting space ship is not technically in space
Nitpicking, absolutely
6:50 if that's a thing then why didn't Mystique just use that in the original X-Men film instead of messing with it loads.
