    Good video thanks but that “thing” is a star wheel shoe adjuster!! Just kidding
    I never would have thought to press a brake pedal without the drums on but it was a great way to see the self adjuster!!

    I was wondering how these things self adjusted.mine doesn’t seem to ever.even after I clean regrease everything Yes I use the right greases .but I will check to see if they click with drum off thanks

      I've had my Montana vans, 2 of them, for well over 10 years. They don't self-adjust for reasons that I have never been able to figure out. I've tried everything including new hardware and adjusters. I've resigned myself to removing the drums and cleaning and adjusting the rear brakes every couple of months.

      I’ve had loads of trouble with my self adjusters so much so I cut them off!!
      No issues other than a adjustment every couple of years

    I realize these are el cheapos, but perhaps the shock loading (brat-a-tat-a-tat) from the ABS worked the rivets loose. I wonder if just bonded shoes would work better. I am in the middle of reassembly right here.
