I personally appreciated this older 2022 style and review. I’m looking to purchase a used vehicle next year just bc of my budget and this was very insightful, thank you!
I like the two screens. I don't want a glorified iPad as a car dash. I love the way it drives, too. The QX50 is quieter and smoother than the 55 because of the smaller wheels.
I owned 3 straight Infiniti's (G37 IPL, QX50 and Q50 Red Sport) so I was a fan. I was hoping the new QX50 or QX55 would have major changes and updates, they don't. The QX50 is nice looking but it stops there. The CVT is horrible, and the tech is still very dated and digging into the Nissan parts bin. The QX50 does not compare to the Germans, but it's biggest problem is the Genesis GV70, which has way more tech, better materials, more horsepower and a better warranty at a comparable price. Infiniti sales are abysmal for a reason, refresh cycle, my 2016 Q50 Red Sport hasn't changed in 8 years, still looks the same. After test driving the QX50, I scheduled a test drive with a GV70, traded my Red Sport on the spot, no comparison.........
Should have reviewed the 2023 qx50. There is now a sports trim.. would have been better to do a review for that instead of the 2022 model, in addition to new features introduced on 2023 models
Just bought a Certified PreOwned 2021 QX50 w/40K miles about a week ago. Here to learn more about my car. Does the 2021 QX50 luxe fwd differ much from the 22’ that you are reviewing? So far they seem very similar. I know it’s really early to say but So far I’m really enjoying it.
Great review, but Car&Driver magazine says it's faster than you're claiming... Tested with professional equipment... 0-60 = 6.2 seconds. 1/4 Mile = 14.7 @ 96 mph. Top Speed = 140 mph like you said. I enjoyed the review 👍
From your own perspective do you prefer 2023 QX50 or QX55? I've watched your QX55 review & yes it's noisier than QX50. Which has smooth ride? Do I have to wait for 2024 model? As always AWESOME video - Regards...
Yeah - QX55 is nice; BUT like you mentioned not enough noise insulation. I'll wait for 2024 model; then conclude either QX50 or QX55. Appreciate you input - Regards...@@HawkeyeRides
Comes with and aging gauge cluster and infotainment system. Has the worst display and backup camera resolution and it comes with the troublesome Jatco CVT transmission. Money better spent on a Lexus or Acura SUV.
Infinity/Nissan is slipping.. hard. Such ashame. They don't keep with the times and run the same old same old for far to long. Amd.. CVT!? GROSS. I absolutely HATE that garbage
They make a great long term vehicle as I have owned two now. My QX60 now has over 155k with no problems but I bought both new. I agree the tech needs to be attended too and a few other points 👍

Your welcome and congratulations when you get it 👍

Infiniti makes a great vehicle but they need to refresh the inside and out

A few more standard feature, 2023 received a new sport trim and 2024 gets a new paint color🎉👍

I do not use other companies for any performance information as everyone’s Professional equipment is different 👍

I like the QX50 better because of cargo room, 2024 will have some updates and both drive smooth. I would wait for the qx50 but buy the qx55 👍

direct injection????
Yes

This car looks old and outdated I love Infiniti which is my favorite car but they have to do better with their tech
I agree, the technology needs a refresh and give it a more aggressive exterior appearance

This is really at the bottom of the class.
It’s not everyone’s cup of tea
