Nah i have a q60 and love the dual screen infotainment. The top screen is so useful. Most convenient infotainment out of all my 6 cars. Not the best looking but so mnice to have
Love this SUV! Best looking crossover. CVT can take some time get used to but the VC turbo is very responsive and quick. The interior materials and layout are also the best in class.
I like how positive you are Infiniti is my favorite automotive. I like how Infiniti just keep it simple everybody does without that Ipad display and gimmicks.
Just rented the exact one last weekend. In short, it's a beautiful and very underrated car which has now been added to our shopping list for early next year. The CVT no one likes was actually very smooth and was mated quite well to the turbo 4. By comparison we have a 2014 Subaru Outback with a CVT we bought new. By early 2015 I swore my next car would NOT have a CVT in it. It's been absolutely awful...! Not so in this case as they've seemingly improved over time I suppose. Very quiet and again very smooth. I was impressed. As far as the overall look IMO it's far better looking than the NX, RX, X3 and the Q5. It's very classy looking. To give you an idea we rented ours in Miami and stayed in Coconut Grove the land of Ferraris, Lambo's, Rolls Royce's et. al., and over the week our QX50 received about a dozen admiring glances! One gentleman gave it the admiring "hmm, nice" nod at a traffic light! The one issue I agree with everyone else on is the outdated interface of the dashboard. It screams 2005..! Infiniti of late has received some bad press, threats of folding as a brand etc. If they tune just a few issues throughout their brand they would certainly be back in the game. This QX50 save for the interface is a step in the right direction.
Great car, also the service u get from the Infiniti dealer is great. Infinti gave me this car as a loner I just wanna hold on to this car as long as I can, And they can keep my 2020 Qx60 lol
Spot on review. Looking for an SUV with class and love Infiniti. But… The CVT is a deal breaker. The dual screens work out ergonomically but, in the case of my Q50 sport, are let down by the sluggish Intel-based electronics. If the system has faster processors, great. But… C’mon Infiniti/Nissan: ditch the CVT!
Excellent review full of valuable info, especially regarding the transmission. One question: With the dual screen, you can see the navigation/Apple Car Play while configuring the other stuff in the lower screen. In other cars with the one large screen, can you do that, or must you exit out of navigation in order to configure other settings?
I have a q60 and think the dual setup is amazing. Its hard to explain but basically you can do almost anything in the car with the steering wheel buttons and center knob. Honestly i have no idea why people bash the infotainment, maybe cause they dont bother trying to figure it out. I have 5 other cars and this one is my favorite and this infotainment is one of the main reasons
Bought one had it for only 6 months. I loved the car but it had one problem after another. Got to the point of issues I had no other choice but to get rid of it while loosing 9k
I wanted to like this vehicle. Coming from a Nissan and wanting to move up a bit, this was the most logical move for me. Almost a no brainier. But that double center screen with the bottom one quite unattractive, as well as the push start in the center console just doesn't do it for me. And now that I'm no longer in a CVT transmissioned vehicle, I can't see going back especially with that center console. I wanted to like it, but I just quite couldn't. ~DDH~
Just admit you can't afford the car lol it's ok. Push to start in the center console is your justification ? Lmaoo get real. So many brands have push to start in the center console, even BMW X3 and X4.
I can’t stand how these automotive journalists don’t understand how a CBT works. It doesn’t drone that’s the engine being held at a certain RPM. The so-called wine is the serpentine belt. It makes the whining noise not the transmission. The transmission is completely silent and operation.
It feels like I'm the only one left of the planet that loves the dual-screen setup.
I love the dual screen set up. This is much better than the Acura touch pad.
I also love that screen setup, I hate the iPad looking ones that pop up

Yess because the top is used for navigation and the bottom used for music,ac, ext

This is actually a very good and honest review. Keep it up!

Great video. Good job on this review. I hope your channel grows.

Nice review!
Between qx50 and Volvo xc60 what would you recommend? Volvo it’s a bit more pricey ($150 more per month).
Thanks

I love this car, can’t wait until I get mine , until then it’s grind mode
Great review!
question to Boston auto blog, why is everyone criticizing the cvt in the infiniti but give praise to the lexus cvt in the NX hybrid and UX?

That’s where the Infiniti excels. You can’t do both CarPlay & navigation at the same time in other dual screen vehicles

Ok imma check out the qx60, can you link the vlog cameras their so cute.

What problems u had? Now I'm starting to worry...

Cvt will kill sales.
Cvt is let down sorry infiniti nissan honda and others doing cvt's we just don't want them.

And all of this still doesn't change the fact that the CVT is not a good pairing for any vehicle in this market.
Best way to enjoy this review? Set the playback speed to .25.
Lovzy talk
audio quality on this review is terrible. The fact that infinity could actually have a credible contender with a CVT transmission is ridiculous.
I had to stop this video midway because sound only comes majorly in left ear.
you can't go off Roading with a CVT transmission. That's ridiculous.
in front of you between the analogue ages is a what? Dizztal dizplay... might be an idea to lay off the peach schnapps before you do these reviews.
This isn’t a 2022!!
Iwas not impressed with this crossover. very ugly cabin for the price
