Michelle, do you do all of your own editing? Your videos, especially lately, have been on another level. True ART! The layering of music, type of music, snapshots, the coloring. I could go on and on. Just beautiful! IF you ever decided to not be public any longer, you would make other people’s channels magical with your artistry and skill. If you don’t do your own editing, your editor needs a raise. Haha😂
haha thank you so much 🥺 I love making these videos, so this means so much. I thought about hiring an editor to share more videos since I have less time now, but would much rather continue editing them myself and just post a bit less!
Why do I love how you film with Connor SO MUCH!!! As my husband and I start to look towards baby making soon, I have been like how the HOOT will i be vlogging with a baby!! And it's super encouraging to see that yes, you CAN still vlog while providing privacy for your baby and still capture such precious moments. Thank you for continuing to bring us along, I am so grateful!
For the spit up - my son was a “super soaker”! He just spit up a LOT no matter what we did, but thankfully it never seemed to bother him. It eventually went away once he was able to sit up and had a lot more core control. My friend’s niece spit up a lot more and it took her almost to a year before she stopped spitting up - the parents tried everything. Sometimes it’s just something you have to wait for it to stop. For the photos, I tell this to every mama - use an app to add photos together in a collage and then save it in the right format for printing! You get smaller photos and more per print because you’re using a collage format but printing in 4x6. That way you also fit more photos in the baby book!
As a fellow mom with a 2 & 3 year old, keep bringing Connor to church! I remember being so anxious that my kids were bothering others, but they deserve to be there just as much as everyone else. Obviously if they’re making too much noise, you’ll have to step out. Just keep in mind that the cries sound way louder to you than they do to anyone else. I’m so thankful that you are back on YT 🫶🏼
You’re doing amazing being a momma! I totally understand how you feel. However, my son is 19 now and I just wish I wouldn’t have stressed so much over the little things when he was little. We all do the best we can in the season of life we are in. Then we hopefully learn and grow in different seasons of life. Have a blessed weekend. Give yourself grace. 🦋🌼💐🍄
Michelle i love watching your videos. They calm me down. Being 37 weeks pregnant i have a lot of anxiety especially at times i wonder if i am going to be a good mom and i am also afraid that i will do something wrong and i will not be perfect .But your videos are so comforting. I also have a dog and i cannot wait for my baby to meet his fur brother. Keep being real. Your family is so cute❤❤
I seriously don’t have words to say how grateful I am I have found you on RUclips, I love your content and aesthetic. And now mom I’m loving, I seriously would be in the look out for a new video right after you became mom and even though you took your time to heal, I’m so glad you’re back now . I always feel encouraged and motivated watching you . I’m in a journey of becoming a mom here soon and having you be ahead of the race is so nice to watch. 😊❤ I did have a question , being someone who owns a dog and sheds a lot . How do you keep it clean as possible from baby’s stuff ?
I just love your videos… there is something so calming and cozy about them. My son spit up a lot and eventually outgrew it. It got a lot better around 6 months but not completely gone until I want to say around 11 or 12 months. Definitely keeping him upright after feeding helped a lot
I LOVE that you are back posting since having Conner, I missed your videos a lot when you had your break. I'm also very happy to see that you are still posting calm, relaxing and inspiring content about yourself. I was afraid that the videos would be too baby focused, as someone who is very far away from that season in my life, but I have been pleasantly surprised by your content. Still feels very relatable even as a non parent. A little baby content is of course sweet
So thankful for your videos ♥️ Going through a lonely time right now and they feel like a visit with a treasured friend. Bless you and your sweet family 😊
I loved this video! You are doing such a fabulous job being a Mom. Your videos have been such an encouragement to me for years! I am so thankful for your courage and vulnerability, I know it’s going to make a big difference for me whenever I’m having kids as well ❤❤❤
Your content is so relaxing and inspiring. I’m not a mom, but hope to be one day, and you sharing your experience and normal life with your baby makes me excited. 😊
My first had a LOT of spit up and yes, it did get better with time, so rest assured! I believe it was around 6 months or whenever I introduced solids. Things that helped: - slightly incline the bassinet. If you have a crib that doesn't do that, put something under the mattress. I created the incline using clothes - keep him in a vertical position for at least 15 minutes after feeding - pace his feedings. Don't let him become too hungry or he will gulp down milk too quickly, along with more air - stop the feeding once it's enough. I stopped him as soon as he fell asleep. That way he doesn't keep having milk while he's sleeping Hope this helps! 😉😊
I am so thankful for your vlogs, as a mom soon to be its just so supportive seeing you navigate life with a new born. I’m currently watching like your early pregnancy Vlogs and even those are helping me so much
I’m a new mom of my 6 month baby girl and we put her in the church nursery for the first time and she did amazing! We waited until she sat up fully on her own and was eating puréed solids so they can feed her food that we provided. However, the second time we put her in there, she cried because she was teething and didn’t have a good nap before church. So, it’s just one of those things that you got to just keep trying and they will get used to the nursery over time. Anyways, that’s what we have went through in the past few weeks lol This was such a refreshing video, Michelle! You’re doing so amazing as a mom, as a wife, & as a woman!🩵🫶🏼
I loved your insight at the end. I think that I would have appreciated social media in the same way when I was a new mom (but my baby was born in 2003). Like most things, we can find good if that is our lens. Hugs to you and your family. Connor is lucky to have you!🫶🏻
When the weather isn't the best we try to find some indoor fun places we can walk around .. malls, home depot was a hit at points, children's museum or a mommy Cafe
Hi Michelle! I have started watching your videos ever since you had Connor, I can’t believe how similar our baby boys are! Mine just turned 7 months. He also spit up sooo much, I had it checked it out few times. I promise that one day, it just ends out of the blue. For us, it ended once he started sitting up (even assisted) at around 5 ish months. Honestly no tricks helped for us, he just needed time. I can’t believe that we no longer have burp clothes hanging on all surfaces of the house , I never thought this day would come. I felt like everything we owned was gross for a while. Deep cleaning our couch has never been more satisfying 😂. You got this🙌
My baby has reflux and we switched him to a sensitive formula which did help. He still spit up but it was definitely a lot less. We sometimes used gas drops for when he was extremely uncomfortable. It’ll go away eventually though and there’s nothing you’re doing wrong!
It's so great seeing you making vlogs again. You bring so much inspiration into my life. So thank you! ❤ Also where are your sandals from (the ones with the cute white dress), and your American flag sweater? So cute!😊
My son had tons of spit up as well! I always felt like he spit up way more and often than other babies. Thankfully he outgrew it! I can’t remember exactly when but I want to say it was around 6 months.
Hi Michelle! I don’t comment very often but I absolutely love your videos! You have such a peaceful, joy-filled presence on RUclips. I have a son who was born on 10/27, so he’s just a little older than Connor, and I’m especially enjoying your motherhood content lately 💛 Our OT did think my son had silent reflux for awhile but he did grow out of it by 5 months I would say. I hope you’re able to find a solution for Connor because it’s not fun to see your baby so uncomfy!
Oh my gosh, I live in Dallas (Plano) and have been wondering about farmer markets in the area. Thank you for this! I hate having to drive all the way to downtown for one.
Our baby also spit up quite a bit, especially when he was younger. We changed the formula a couple times, but it felt like nothing worked. In the end, trying to burp every couple ounces and going on walks helped a lot. He also stopped spitting up as much when he started rolling and crawling around. So just give it some time, it will get better!
Look into chiropractic for babies. It’s so common, and helps a ton! Also it could be his formula. I loved Bobbi formula it never caused spit up with my daughter.
My boy is 7 months old and he is what my dr calls a happy spitter. But he spits up so frequently! He does get upset when spitting up but he also is a very unsettled Bub when playing I have just put him on a reflux formula (in Australia) and it has worked wonders! It’s just a little bit thicker so it lines his stomach better. He doesn’t spit up nearly as much and overall seems happier! My daughter was also a happy spitter but I never had to change anything for her as she was always so happy. She out grew it about 8 months of age
Make sure to burp in between and after feeding, keep him in upright position during feeding as well... yes he should outgrow it eventually once his sphincters have developed. 😊
I had a baby with bad reflux! We started medication really early and went dairy free and it was night and day! Things really turned around around 6 months when they sit up more and start solids. I feel you and it is tough! Tons and tons of laundry!
My daughter definitely spit up severely beyond the typical per our pediatrician and some days it got me so frustrated just worried if she was uncomfortable etc and we also decided against medications. She outgrew it started around 8 months/9 months and we never looked back! My son is now 5 days old and I am anxiously awaiting to see if he has the same issues. It’s definitely hard because you are constantly covered in spit up and also worried if they are uncomfortable. But it sounds like he is gaining weight and doing great! Hang in there!
Yes, our baby had awful reflux, too!! She was a preemie and needed to be on high calorie formula along with breastmilk at first, and we realized that the formula was causing it because once she transitioned to full breastmilk her reflux was sooo much better! I think she had a sensitivity to an ingredient in the formula. I also definitely agree with burping often during a feed (every ounce or two), keeping baby upright after a feed (at least for 15 mins), and to keep baby inclined as that definitely helped for us!
The spit up will get a lot easier and everntually gone. Babys sphicter is maturing and it takes some time. ❤thank you for being so courageous and going out with your little one by yourself, it inspires me
proo tip for sourdough or bread in general: just freeze it and if you want some defrost it in the toaster, soo good☺️ thanks for the video Michelle, as always such a vibe😍
Hi Michelle! Both my babies had what I would call pretty severe reflux until they were about 6 months. Something I tried with my second baby was adding rice water to thicken the formula. It’s something thats pretty common in Mexican culture. Essentially I would boil rice with excess water (no exact ratio) and once the rice was cooked I would drain the rice water into a thermos and use that to mix the formula. I would do this about every couple of days and it helped us so much! The only con was wasting the rice in the process but I would do it again if I had to.
Such sweet moments! Continue to Savor them all! Regarding the reflux, one of mine was on meds for about a month and we had to feed less amount and more frequently. Once started on solids the reflux went away. :)
Yayyy so exciting and of how much your baby has grown Michelle!. Hope you have a nice day!, don't overwork yourself and please have a good amount of sleep to you Michelle to ur friends and to ur family as well! :)).
Our daughter spit up sooo much in the first few months. Our lactation consultant and pediatrician told us as long as she isn’t upset when she spits up, it is normal. They referred to it as being a “happy spitter” and just a “laundry problem” rather than an actual issue lol. Basically if she were having reflux it would be uncomfortable so she’d be noticeably upset, but since she is unbothered when she spits up there is nothing wrong with it. By 6 months she spit up much less and now at 10 months she rarely spits up :)
This was wonderful Michelle. Also..my oldest son was bottle fed and also spit up a lot. Our pediatrician suggested switching formulas and that was a game-changer😊 Have a wonderful day...
It’s so great that you’re able to put Connor down for naps. My daughter only wanted contact naps for nearly a year 😬 It could be very frustrating but nice to see you be able to get so much done.
Our son has reflux. The first few months were rough but our pediatrician gave us Pepcid for him bc it would wake him up and it was painful for him. He no longer takes anything bc he outgrew the pain. He’s about to be 7 months and still spits up but not as much as he did at the beginning. It gets really really REALLY bad around 4-5 months. Nothing really helps, you just have to give it time. Starting purées and solids helped us as well. Also love love love your content!💗
My niece was struggling with spit up and at the time my sister was both formula feeding & breast feeding. She switched spicy things and dairy out of her diet (just what worked for her), and even tried switching formulas. I’m not a parent and can’t imagine, best of luck! ❤
my baby was the same way! constantly spitting up & I could not understand how he was getting enough calories. I noticed he spit up more when I ate dairy. Could be something in your diet if you’re breastfeeding or if formula try changing up brands. BUT my baby did grow out of it. You’re doing good momma!!
Hi Michelle :) My son had reflux up until 6 -7 months when he was able to sit unaided then it kinda just disappeared lol was grateful when that day came! I tried everything to reduce it but try not to stress it will resolve in time :) lots of love from Australia 🇦🇺 xx
My daughter had reflux snd she eventually grew out of it but keeping her upright for 20-30 minutes after a bottle really helped her tummy and bicycle kicks
My granddaughter was born 12/1/23 and has acid reflux and until she was put on medication was always projectile spitting up. She seemed to be in so much pain too. She even developed an umbilical hernia. The medication has helped tremendously and we also give her mylicon in her formula which helps. We thought it was the formula so we tried a few different ones but it was acid reflux. She still spits up a lot but the amount is so minimal. Her belly button has also shrunk back down to normal. Best wishes Michelle!
My son had reflux. We tried famotidine (it didn’t help). We eventually started omeprazole and it helped immensely. It was also made worse by food sensitivities. He outgrew the spitting up around 7 months. He couldn’t tolerate dairy until a year. He’s 2 now and eats a normal diet/no reflux issues.
Our baby has really bad reflux. he was born prematurely November 30. Our first pediatrician didn’t want to treat him so we switched. He ended up having GERD and once we got him on medicine, he is a completely different baby. Still spits up, but not near as much so happy.
Check out the "mini prints" at CVS. I am able to print two photos side by side in a 4x6 photo and just cut them apart. Maybe your CVS has this option too! Sweet video! Thanks for sharing! 😊
My second baby also spit up a tonnn, and turned out she was sensitive to dairy. Once I cut it out of my diet (I’m breastfeeding) it significantly changed the amount of spit up! Not sure if you’re using dairy formula but may be worth switching to see if it helps! :)
So thankful you’re back!! Your sweet boy is absolutely precious, and you’re doing an amazing job. Thank you for sharing your journey with us🩷
thank you, thank you! ☺️

Good morning, Michelle. I'm loving your new videos with your new lifestyle. You are so down to earth. Thanks❤
thank you so much! really enjoying making them here lately 💛
I love how real and relaxed and casual you are now! You've always been wonderful, but you're just beautiful now as a mother ♡
this actually means so much to me 💛 definitely have been humbled by how particular I was before becoming a mom! it has been the pruning I needed 🌱
Michelle i love watching your videos. They calm me down. I did have a question , being someone who owns a dog and sheds a lot . How do you keep it clean as possible from baby’s stuff ?
thank you this is so kind 🥹 we vacuum as much as we can! although I do think it’s good for most babies in terms of allergies, growing up with a dog!
I just love your videos… there is something so calming and cozy about them. My son spit up a lot and eventually outgrew it. It got a lot better around 6 months but not completely gone until I want to say around 11 or 12 months. Definitely keeping him upright after feeding helped a lot

Hope this helps! 😉😊
super super helpful, appreciate you! ❤️
This is so helpful! My son also spits up so so much!
Agree with all these tips! We did this with my reflux baby and it really helped!
I was having an off day mentally and when I saw your video it truly make me perk up and know I’ll be encouraged through it 🥲💛
You share positivity in every video so we respond accordingly. It’s beautiful watching you bloom where you are.
you are so kind, thank you Claudia! 💛
God bless you Michelle!!! Love your content as always

hopeful for when we start solids here soon! 🙏🏼
Our pediatrician suggested switching formulas and that was a game-changer😊
Have a wonderful day...
Glad to see you back, Michelle! I always enjoy and relax with your vlogs🙂
so grateful to be back here 💛 thank you!
For the spitting up, I switched from formula to goat's milk. That worked.
He’s on a goat’s milk formula that definitely helped a lot!
It’s so great that you’re able to put Connor down for naps. My daughter only wanted contact naps for nearly a year 😬 It could be very frustrating but nice to see you be able to get so much done.
he will for about 20-30 minutes! so most of our naps are still contact naps and honestly I prefer it that way right now 🥲
Your videos are refreshing to my soul
I love that, thank you ☺️🦋
Hi Michelle, I loved your bucket straw hat, can you tell me where you bought it?
Amazon! Linked it in the description ❤
You’re doing amazing as a mama 🤍🤍✨
appreciate this so much 💛
if you plan to restart your sourdough starter, a series to follow along with or even just a video would be so helpful!!
Also love love love your content!💗
this is what I’m praying! it’s definitely peaking right now 🙏🏼
My niece was struggling with spit up and at the time my sister was both formula feeding & breast feeding. She switched spicy things and dairy out of her diet (just what worked for her), and even tried switching formulas. I’m not a parent and can’t imagine, best of luck! ❤
Every time I see your makeup in videos I’m obsesssssed. What eyeshadow do you typically use??
my baby was the same way! constantly spitting up & I could not understand how he was getting enough calories.
Try making your photos into a college before printing so then you can just slice up the 4 x 6. I've done that a few times
very smart!
Best wishes Michelle!
love love your vlogs michelle🫶🏻 you are growing up so amazingly🥹 thankyou for being my comforter🫶🏻
🥺💛 I love this sooo much, thank you
My baby dealt with reflux too and it’s resolved now. He’s 7 months. Try chiropractic!
I learned how to curl my hair with a straightener after you always would do it in college! Still do it pretty consistently!
yes the best easy hairstyle!
Happy Birthday to Adian
Please can we see a picture of the baby and Cash together that would be the cutest
So stunning as always, Michelle!❤❤❤
Hi! I also have boy who spit up non-stop. He finally outgrew it at 10.5 months! Just hang in there and keep an extra shirt for you in the diaper bag ❤
Wonderful vlog Michelle! How are you doing? I hope all is well and that Aidan and the baby are well!
we were feeling a little under the weather for a bit, but feeling much better now! thank you 🥹❤
Our baby has really bad reflux. he was born prematurely November 30. Our first pediatrician didn’t want to treat him so we switched. He ended up having GERD and once we got him on medicine, he is a completely different baby. Still spits up, but not near as much so happy.
I live in the metroplex too and the best farmers market I’ve found yet is the Coppell farmers market! I drive for that one!
Check out the "mini prints" at CVS. I am able to print two photos side by side in a 4x6 photo and just cut them apart. Maybe your CVS has this option too! Sweet video! Thanks for sharing! 😊
okay what! totally did not realize this was an option 🫢 thank you!
My second baby also spit up a tonnn, and turned out she was sensitive to dairy. Once I cut it out of my diet (I’m breastfeeding) it significantly changed the amount of spit up! Not sure if you’re using dairy formula but may be worth switching to see if it helps! :)
Love your vlogs💕
thank you 🥹
