Legend thank you. I was confused by the 2 metal rods but your directions solved the issue. We are using it as bedside so only needed one rod. Thanks 👍

I’ve inserted the metal rods on both sides but I need to use a a bed side crib. I’ll
Be honest, the manual was very poorly labelled and told us to assemble a stand alone crib and once we did that, it told us what to do for a bedside crib, unfortunately it seems too late to convert it to a bedside crib as the metal rod on the zip side is nearly impossible to take out.
Can anyone please advise how to take the metal rod out and convert it to a bedside crib as it’s not sliding through

You should be able to unscrew the rod fairly easily and slide it out, if you are having an issue we would recommend speaking with the company that you purchased from

@@BabyLadyUK1991 Not easily at all....tried for a good 30 mins and it wont come out. I may have to contact Jon Lewis. I would say, in future that manual should say at the start, for bedside crib, follow these instructions, for standalone crib, follow these instructions instead of going straight into a standalone crib and then asking to disassemble and making it more difficult...

We were in the exact same position it’s seems once you add the second rod there is no point of return if you want to use the zip feature and the instructions at any point do not state this, or the rod on the zip side should be a slim line rod.

It's good to see Woodglut have new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
