Just made and came out great. I used boneless skinless chicken breast and place in pot with rice. I also added cooked onions, mushrooms and a diced carrot. I reduce some of the water but think sauted mushrooms still added more liquid, had to drain a little. Still yummy and definitely didnt go to waste. Always check your youtube to for new postings. I've done your spaghetti, steak, wifes mac&cheese, chicken noodle soup, chicken broth...
Nice of you to mention the board and first responders...putting their lives on the line...thank you for thanking them...Great video and recipe...Thank you John, for your channel...I really appreciate it.
And thank you Warren... they are all very special people and deserve to be honored and thanked everyday... along with the grocery store, Amazon, ups, fed ex, US postal workers and everyone helping us get through this... thank you for watching!!!
@@JohnSanders They all deserve a special thank you every day...we tend to take a lot for granted...but I think the current situation has made a lot of people stop and think...and be thankful.
Please do more like this kind of stacking!!! My whole family enjoyed it and it was perfect!! Having an all in one dinner was easy and fun. I had go figure out how to use different gadgets to make it work, but in the end the lid closed and I figured that was my go ahead and do it sign:-). Thanks again!
Saw that cutting board on Shark Tank...that reminds me I need to get one too! Help support his kids 😁👍. Thx for sharing that yummy recipe *hugs* stay safe and healthy out there everyone!
Good Sunday morning John!!! Great to see another great video! That's on my list now. Going to order a Fat Daddy-o PRD-83. If I were to order the same pan for Ninja, do you know what it's called John? At any rate, I will get the pan and make this mouth watering recipe. Also of note, while I was watching this John, I thought how easy this would be to include some oriental orange sauce with this to make it even more tasty (for me anyways lol). Thanks again John ya'll stay safe out there brother.
Not sure what Ninja refers to it as but it has their coating on it and I do like it... that sauce sounds like a good idea!!! Good Sunday morning to you too and thanks for watching Lew!!!
Is there any reason that you didn’t use boneless, skinless thighs? Thank you for the great video. I am glad to see that you’re doing well, good health and good eating to you and Babydoll😁😁
Just lots of rambling in last video just to repeat it, thanks for recognizing us frontline workers as we try to cook quicker for our families, please do it faster :-)
You sure help encourage me I haven’t had a notification for a while. My Husband died then this quarantine and it’s raining and still kinda cold. So thank you so much for posting a nice Friendly almost normal cooking video makes me feel better I have the old Ninja do you really like the one you have enough better for me to buy one just wondering
I was with you until you took the skin off the chicken thighs. I might try that tomorrow with my Power Quick Pot and Mealthy CrispLid after my once a week grocery trip.
@@JohnSanders I tweaked the recipe a little bit. I couldn't find wild rice so I substituted brown rice and used a mixture of the liquid from the canned mushrooms and chicken stock with the rice. Then I put the thighs under the crisplid to make the skin nice and crispy. Turned out well and I still have some rice leftover.

Yum. I hope I can find chicken at Publix. Looks so yummy!!! Thanks for the video. Stay safe!
It was really good... thanks for watching!!
will this work in the one lid model?
You could also use the liquid from the can of mushrooms to make up part of the water put in the rice.
That is a good idea...thanks for watching!!!

Thank you... I think bone in and skin on make for better broth... but I'm sure boneless skinless would work well also... thanks for watching!!!

Sorry about that... thank you for watching the video and helping keep us safe...I appreciate everyone that is out there making things better...
Could you simply set the chicken on top of the rice without a rack?
I'm sure you could...I had a rack so I used it but I would have just put it on top of the rice if not.. thanks for watching!!!
I do this same recipe and add cream of chicken soup to make a mn casserole
That sounds good!!! Thanks for sharing that!!

Those gloves might handle a that...lol... thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed it!!!
