- Today, Mike and I searched for arrowheads and other stone tools. We also went metal detecting at an old mill site and Civil War camping area. The river water was a little chilly, but the air was toasty warm. We also tool around in my RiverRat jetboat for the first time this year.
As always this is a how to metal detecting outdoor adventure vlog that is family friendly and hopefully a fun video.

8:42, old thermostat from a tractor? The blue jar - Vick's Vapor Rub.
Awesome potsome
@@ronwatson4287 'Possum'. It is a small furry rodent.
@AndrexT no kidding thanks dummy
Another GR8 Day on the river. Had fun exploring with ya.
So much fun seeing you two together. The wagon plate was cool.👍👏😀
That buggy plate is actually an AMAZING find and great piece of buggy/automotive history
That bald eagle has a pretty good goose call.
Beautiful day and beautiful river !
I love it when you bring your jet boat out for an exploration - I'd give my eye teeth for a spin in that besuty!
Love that it's another season of river adventures!
2:07 Cow Responds "At Lease We didn't Get Beamed Up Like Marsha and Sally!"!

Glad you like them! Thanks for the kudos.
I’m so happy for you. Finding all of those wonderful treasures. Loved the boat ride. Thank you
“Cows in the Creek” could be the name of Chigg and Mike’s relic hunting bluegrass band.
Lol. Yes that has a nice ring to it.
Spring must have arrived if you are back on the river
Uncle Chiggers! I like when you go on small rivers and streams it’s a joy to watch with everything so green around you. Oh and thanks for being nice to Mike, he’s a nice guy so please give him a break from your pranks. Oh and lastly when are you going to visit Captain Billy?
I do like that vessel Chig! The ride up current is fun!! Wish I was a passenger! Awesome Rk
Love your shows keep a rocken
That was a nice little river, great video thanks Chigg..
Great video on the boat.
9:51 Noxzema cream jar. I remember mom, 60 or 70 years ago using it.
Nice hunt and finds!
NICE TO BE BACK ON A RIVER HUNT 😎 KEEP YOUR SELFS SAVE AND HAPPY DIGGING. 😮😊
3rd like, yes, another chigg adventure
Beautiful day on the river ❤
Oh man, I want a ride
We need some longer videos Chigg that would be great
Hope you're a great day Chigg!!!
Can feel the wind as the Chigg boat flys up/down the river! Vertigo engaged, but it's all part of the fun. Thanks, Beau!
It is great fun for sure. Thanks for the donation!
Always something for me to enjoy. Love it when you're back in the river. Great video as you're "jetting" up the river as it actually sets my vertigo off. But WOW! I love it!
Wake? Wake? We don't need no stinking Wake, we got Badges 😅
Maybe it's a spatula off the wagon train of the Camp Cook. The U shap top is to hang it.
You already know I'm going to like it. You never disappoint.
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
The boat trip down the river was awesome, thank you.
Looks like a nice day. I would love to see a turtle in the wild.
Great video guys 😊
The Lion Buggy Co. is such a cool find. Almost certainly from the 1880s/90s, and the last of its kind as the industry around buggies and wagon wheels disappeared with the rise of the automobile.
Seeing you guys get pumped over finding an arrowhead made me laugh. I used to get excited every time I found one until I had a few dozen of them. I still keep them every time but not with the same enthusiasm I used to have. They are relatively common along the banks of the rivers and streams in the Adirondacks.
Thanks for sharing! Enjoyed watching. Looks like the water is warming up for searching for items there.
4th? Hallelujah what's up everyone 😊
You & Mike get along so well. He gets your sense of humor. 🤣🤣
Love the river adventures.
Hi Mr Chiggs! Thanks!😊👍
When the kids were 5 and 6, we lived off the Trinity River in a small lake subdivision in the Piney Woods of Texas. I came home after work, and the wife said the kids had a hatchet and were cutting down small trees on the edge of the lake. I walked over there, and it was Beavers with a slide into the water. She didn't believe me till she saw one a few weeks later chewing on a small tree.
What weird and wonderful finds! I wonder what was kept in the cute little blue jar?! 🤔 I LOVED seeing those busy, happy bees at the end. 🐝❤️ Ello from London,UK!
Lol I like how u still find stuff, 75-100 years old & your like oh it's not that old.. 😆
It's all relative.
Your UK English is coming along nicely well done Chig
Most excellent dudes
I love looking for Arrowheads! Have you ever found Paleo Artifacts like Clovis?
Tremendous boat ride ye haa
the boat ride & cow crossing was fun , whats a bee tube do
Awesome !
That arrowhead is awesome. I've been picking up triangular rocks for more than 30 years and so far none of them have actually been an arrowhead yet lol.
Thanks.
Give Mike a new chigg hat.
Lol. Hi Jane. I have several more. I just can't get rid of this old one. My wife keeps telling me to throw it out😅😅
@@gr8finds196 Yep I've got an old NAPA hat from 2001 I can't get rid of, looks bad but feels right.
The brass corrugated disc thing is a thermostat diaphragm for a old style egg incubator.
I think the little blue jar is a Noxema jar. Ive found one similar
At about 8 1/2 minutes the copper disk parts look like the air tank on a barometer.
8:48 rippling thing purculator for coffee ☕️
8:16 Civil War era burger flipper 🤣?
Kinda my thoughts, cooking utensil, the hook handle indicates that.👍🏻
Nice finds on another great vid thanks beau and mike and hey how will you get the honey out of the pvc pipes?…or is it just for pollination around the property? Thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Tool looks like an ash scraper for a wood stove...at least😊 I'd use it fot that!
great video gents.
I just have to comment. They do not chew their foot to get out of a trap. It does go numb sometimes and as they fight the trap sometimes they do bite their foot. I'm not taking sides with this . However you do seem to know quite a bit about a lot of different subjects. So you should know. All of that aside I truly enjoy the videos. Thank you
They should banned, forever.
That round lid like thing with the hole in the middle looks like the lower part to an old coffee percolator basket.
Its good to see chigg's navy back on the water
That um throttling linkage could have been from a small steam engine 🤔🤔
As a blowoff valve. Or from a still ….
OMG😮😮 what a great idea with the honey bees 🤦♂️🇺🇸🫡
We started metal detecting- my husband and I . Chig what advice would you give newbies? Thank you so much for your vids and information!! ❤❤
Watch videos and go as often as you can to keep learning.
👊🤩👍
Looks like a spatula where the end rusted off
That one looked like a pancake turner.
cool jet boat
That looks like a pancake flipper.
That curved tool you called it was a old school cooking utensil and the round copper disc Thang that was falling all apart was a very old speaker part I believe
Smashed door knob for sure
That tool with a flat blade and hanging hook could be an impromptu spatula or turner depending on what you want to call it.
Lion buggy company used to make old time buggies in the early 1900`s here in Ohio.
Could the piece around the 8:50 mark be part of a car horn, the inside part?
That piece that hangs up is for a chimney
It was made to hang in my opinion
That one piece might possibly be parts of a battery top and bottom
Interesting array of finds! No CW bullets but still fascinating! What was your Favorite item? I liked that wooden fork(?) handle
Could that be a home made scraper of a hot plate used in cooking .
More bees please!
The copper bits at 8:40 look like they're from the bellows to an aneroid bellows
Not sure, but at 10:40 on your magnet. It almost looks like a Civil War cavalry carbine clip off the sling. The teardrop shaped thing. Could be wrong though.
8.20 small ash shovel or a small ass shovel ?
Flat round metal with hole in the middle. Maybe top to cover where you place coffee for a stove top coffee maker.
Is Bobbie Wobbs still alive today? He looks elderly xx
It looks like a flipper for flipping your eggs and it has a hook to hang it up.
What's with the bee thing. How come it's attached to the house like that. Please explain. 🤔🤔🤔
Do you wear suntan lotion when you’re out?
Is fireplace shovel...???maybe
At 8:18 it might be a homemade spatula
Your RiverRat jet boat is awesome Chiggs ! Loved the river explore and great assortment of finds you guys found. Best regards to you and Mike !
That's a stone cutting Sledge
Dude you can't see what is underneath the water, cut your speed you hit something, 1 you go over the top since no kill cord used boat following you over
2 no kill cord attached around your leg if you're hit something underneath water you go flying engine stops as key pulled out as its attached around leg.
3 reduce speed be safe no nasty accidents and headinjuries your safe and want to keep seeing stuff you post n mostly important 😉 you're alive
Can you do Alaska again this summer Chigg I live up here
I'd like to, but I don't have any plans to at this point.
@@aquachigger He probably still has mosquito bites from the last time that haven't healed.
7:49 probably a womans hair beret that shed run a hairpin through.
That makes more sense.
Was that a piece of the old thermostat that you thought was a decoration
That could be for sure.
Thanks for the boat ride Chigg!! That was a blast. I think my favorite find was that decorative broach. You guys have a lot of fun. 👍
Hamburger flipper just joking
