Thank you!! I love making coasters and feel they are so practical but not everyone I want to make them for like the normal ones out there that generally look like flowers and such. Nothing wrong with that but yeah, not everyone’s cup of tea. So I’m absolutely loving this one!! Thank you
Hello. I worked along with you and it gives me great joy to say that I made a coaster. Thank you very much. Blessings for making me feel so good with my effort. Much appreciated 😊
I gave up crocheting for months because I couldn't find the right youtube video to help me make a magic circle coaster... But this helped me so much!! Thank you
my coaster curled and turned to a bowl 😭😭 i used a 3.25mm hook. i might buy a 5mm one since i heard those are better to use. i flattened it out and some of the pattern got smooshed but its okay 🥲🥲. thank you for this amazing tutorial, i had a lot of fun!!
I copied exactly step by step but mine ended up big , a little bigger then a saucer plate lol 😆 but at least my coasters don't curl up anymore and I understand what I've been doing wrong. Now I need to take what I learned here and what I've learned before and practice making them smaller. Lol 😆 🤣 thank you for the video. My coaster is a little wavy but I'll do my best to flatten it out. Maybe too big to use for cups so I'll just use it for my flower pot 😆 🤣 😂
This is very pretty thank you. I have now made it. The only thing that has happened is that it won't sit flat. The edge is wavy. Any idea what I have done wrong ?😬
Thank you from Canada! I made beautiful ends for my pillow roll thanks to your video! Your video is clear, very explanatory and very easy to follow. You are a wonderful teacher and you have a follower in me! :)
Dank je wel voor de goede uitleg. Ik geniet van jullie blog en van de tutorials. Ik heb genoeg restjes garen liggen en ik ga er lekker mee aan de slag :-)
I can tell you what I used so that the coaster(s) didn’t end up so large. I used the Lion Brand Yarn 24/7 Cotton. The yarn is smaller than your typical cotton yarn like Lily Sugar n’ Cream. I was easily able to use a G/6 (4.25mm) hook which helped. You would probably be able to find a cotton or cotton blend yarn that is even smaller, albeit with a bit of searching. If you can’t get a “smaller” cotton yarn, you could try removing one of the interior rows (like row 3) or the last row. I have made them without the last row with larger yarn and it still looks very nice!
Hi... can you please tell me what size hook you used for the white coaster in the beginning you already made as well as the name of the yarn?!? It's beautiful and I love how it looks. I want to make the same one. Thank you!
Holly Phillips oh my! It's such a long time ago that I made it, and i believe it was some scrap yarn I had left over. Not sure what yarn it was or which hook I used! It's a heavy worsted yarn, or even chunky! I'd guess the hook was a 4.5mm or 5mm! Sorry I can't be of more help!!!!
Thank you for this tutorial. I’ve been looking for a coaster that wasn’t too frilly but not plain. This is perfect

Great tutorial! But I'm having trouble getting my coaster to be small. What type of yarn would you suggest for this coaster?
