Made this very cute leaf, I will make a few more, they will be part of a dreamcatcher. Thank you for sharing! Kind regards from St. Maarten Dutch West Indies
I just made one! Will make some more this week. It's funny how small this project is, but how many new stitches I learned lol. It's definitely for advanced beginners. Not for beginners.
@@handmadebyraine wow so simple and quick!! Thanks for sharing. I'm making a center piece for Thanksgiving and these leaves will be perfect around the stuffed crocheted pumpkins and indian corn. I'm now a subscriber to your channel. God Bless
Love the pattern. My very first crochet project ever. Never done it before but my coaster was "approved" and nice. I would like to make them bigger, so they fit under a dinnerplate. How can I do that?
Hello Raine Thanks so much for this lovely tutorial. I've made several of these leaf coasters but after the 6th round ( picot round) they start curling at the edges. Wonder where I'm going wrong.
I crocheted this leaf using fingering weight, however it was too small . Could you please tell me how to make it larger using my finger weight thread. Thank you, they are so beautiful.
Really great video but the speed at which she crochets is way too fast for a tutorial! I have to watch it at .25x to see what is happening and you cant really tell what is being said.
Same. I really want to make this, but pausing, slowing down and constantly rewatching to make sure I actually understand what to do, is just too frustrating.

Love the pattern. My very first crochet project ever. Never done it before but my coaster was "approved" and nice. I would like to make them bigger, so they fit under a dinnerplate. How can I do that?
Thank you! So happy to hear! Feel free to experiment by adding rounds and using bigger size of yarn and hook.
Hello Raine
Thanks so much for this lovely tutorial. I've made several of these leaf coasters but after the 6th round ( picot round) they start curling at the edges. Wonder where I'm going wrong.
Happened to me too. I made a modification so instead of skipping a stitch after the pico, I slip stitched into it. Problem solved. Hope it helps
Great idea! You could also use a smaller hook on the last round to avoid curling.
Thank You!
Most welcome!
❤️❤️❤️
I crocheted this leaf using fingering weight, however it was too small . Could you please tell me how to make it larger using my finger weight thread. Thank you, they are so beautiful.
Sorry for delayed reply, maybe you could use 2 strands of yarn together.
Great video
Thank you, Teresa! :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi! Could you advise me how to make it bigger as I'm using smaller yarn? I was thinking to add some rows, but I'm not sure how. Many thanks!
You can experiment with adding rounds, I haven't done it so unfortunately I don't have exact stitch count for you.
@@handmadebyraine thanks for your reply. I've added extra last row with half double crochet.
Beautiful. I wonder what yarn are you using ?
Thank you! I use Lion Brand Bonbon cotton, got it from Amazon: amzn.to/2GyUMdJ
hello, is there a way to make this pattern bigger? the yarn i'd like to use is very thin :(
What kind of yarn did you use for this coaster..??
It was Lion Brand Bonbon cotton.
What is the stitch count after the first increase row?
Hi Denise! Round 2 - Total of 16 dc2tog and 16 ch. Written pattern link is in the video description box, it might be helpful!
I keep messing up between row 4 and 5 can't figure out what I am doing wrong
Same
Always run out of space
Sorry for late reply. Anything I can do to help?
Girl me too!!! I keep coming up with one less chain space than I need :(
I figured it out on my end!!!

How many coasters does one skein make?
Depends on the size of skein 😉
The skein you used in this video. How many coasters does one Bon Bon make?
Isthere a y anywhere to find a writen instruction for leaf

I love the design but I am a beginner and the moves are very fast for me, I can't follow them.
Maybe written pattern is more helpful: handmadebyraine.com/how-to-crochet-leaf-coaster/
You probably figured this out already but you can adjust the video speed in settings. I have to do this a lot for crochet tutorials.
Oh that w I understand be helpful if I could do that thank you
Really great video but the speed at which she crochets is way too fast for a tutorial! I have to watch it at .25x to see what is happening and you cant really tell what is being said.
Thanks for the feedback!
Same. I really want to make this, but pausing, slowing down and constantly rewatching to make sure I actually understand what to do, is just too frustrating.
That's why I always add the link of written pattern in my video description box to provide extra help.
Where do I find writen box
Well, mine looked like a Yellow of Spades of the card game. Nice try though.
You could try to block your leaves to get them in good shape. 🙂
Hello, thanks for your tutorial, I would love to share my work, but I have trouble finding which one is your Instagram account
Hey! Thank you! It's @handmadebyraine or #handmadebyraine
I tried to follow you but you go fast and not very clear lost me
It's Treble not triple.
These are synonyms :)
