It’s great to see Elizabeth gaining her mobility back, I got one of these walkers today thanks to you for my 91 year old Mom to replace the one that did not have the wheelchair conversion. You stressed a good point about insurance paying 400 dollars for a walker that sells on amazon for 33 dollars that’s why a lot of us can’t afford insurance in this country, what a rip-off. God Bless you both.

I had something like that when I was recovering from a broken leg and all the surgeries....it did not have the opportunity to become a wheelchair, but it also had a little area under the seat to keep things...and certainly helped me during my recovery time after three surgeries. I loved it! The dr gave us that first walker, too...and my husband bought the one like yours....also a maroon color! So glad you found this!

My father-in-law just got one too. He just turned 91 this Monday, and he loves it. He cannot fall at all! When your weight is off you will be able to sell the walker! You will be healed from strokes, and all other diseases. I also suggest a whole food, plant based lifestyle. You can buy and eat all of the thrive life foods except the dairy and meats. I am in prayer for your total healing!

100% ! This is the biggest problem. I remember it beginning a bit over 20 years ago, charging $14.00 for a Tylenol in the hospital. You could buy 500 in the store for the price of one in the hospital. Outrageous. Medical equipment is even worse.

I am so glad you got that rollator Elizabeth! I got one at Walmart when I was recovering from a broken leg. It was under $100 but it was not quite as sturdy as yours and it had smaller wheels, but it was so wonderful! I was able to walk my dog myself and go to the grocery store and it made my life so much better! I gave it away when I didn't need it anymore. I didn't want it around because I don't plan on needing it again! So far, I've been right! Love you guys! Praying for you and your upcoming trips!

I have multiple sclerosis , vasculitis, and a stroke at 39 and I am now 59 ,so I as well can’t not stand or walk for long.I have never ever stood in line at the airport like that horribly ridiculous if you let them know they would have took care of you ,and your travel companion do this when you get your tickets or at the front desk at check in .
I agree with some of the others next time check with thrift stores you can pick such as this up you guys probably have never been in one ,but they can be handy for such as this for medical equipment. Also alway check with your Dr to get a prescription for any medical equipment than call medical store (more than 1 ) a lot of time Ins will pick it up for free or a little of nothing . I got everything I needed for free .Good Luck with your new walker !

For vertigo-close eyes and look forward, then look to upper right corner, then back to forward, then to upper left corner, then back to forward. This settles the "stones" in the inner ear. Helped me with horrible vertigo symptoms. Happy travels!!!

Thank you, but my inner ear is fine. I had a huge, very weird series of tests to determine that my balance problems and vertigo aren’t from there. It’s in my brain. If it was my inner ear, there could be treatments for it.

Panama! How AWESOME!! Elizabeth, I'm in an electric wheelchair now, but in the past, when I was better, I used a rollator. I tell ya what, it was even great when I would go shopping - because I could sit and look at things in the store without being in pain. It's also nice for when you're cooking and can't stand at the stove for a long time. I love that yours converts to a wheelchair if you need it - how cool! Mine didn't do that - you got a nice one!

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming trip to Panama! I have a walker..same sporty color but it doesn't convert to an emergency wheelchair. I'm on disability and low income so the State of Washington paid for mine about 12 yrs. ago. They told me it cost $300 if I were to pay for it myself! It is very heavy duty. I have a mild M.S. that affects my balance and I have a past history of TIAs also. It is great to have to give us more independence. There is definitely a need for greed in the medical field. Sad that they must take advantage of people's illnesses and disabilities to line their pockets with gold and empty ours. I really feel for ones who do not have the benefits of Medicaid to help them. Blessings to you both.

Bill and Elizabeth, when booking your flights, call the airline and ask them for wheelchair assistance, and then take your walker with you and check it with your luggage. I am disabled and when my husband, mother in law and I flew to Germany, all the flights we were on I booked wheel chair assistance. You not only don't have to worry about standing in lines, but you get bumped up in lines. Just a thought, it does make it so much easier for you.

Those kind of walkers are fantastic! My mom has one that she uses occasionally. Mom is in a wheelchair more though. I’m so happy for y’all! This will make things so much better for both of you. Elizabeth, I believe you mentioned in a comment that your balance trouble is in the brain. I know how debilitating that can be. Back in 2006 I was diagnosed with a condition that causes the nerves in my brain to swell. It causes a balance problem. When those nerves are swollen, I too can walk fine, but if I stand still I get very dizzy. If I look up at the sky, I will fall over.... and if I close my eyes while standing, I’ll end up on the floor. Fun, right?
They treated my condition with the same antibiotics they use for shingles. But there is not a complete cure. I’m told that it will come back, it’s just a matter of time. So until then, I’m living life to the fullest!
Good luck with your rollator. Get out and about..... and enjoy life! We are keeping y’all in our prayers. Have a blessed day. 💕🙏

You will like it Elizabeth. I use one too but not in Wal-Mart. We solved the cart problem. We just get up very early and shop our Wal-Mart all the carts are still plugged in. I use my walker mostly for long walks and the mall.

Yeah! I’m so happy you got that. I used one of those after my knee replacement. It gives you so much confidence when shopping, traveling, and walking. Gives you your independence back! Blessing 😁

WOW! The Rollator is U$175 and a Walker U$400? That doesn't make sense. But I'm glad it wasn't very expensive for you Guys. Have a lots of fun and I'm looking foward that Elizabeth won't be needing both of them in the near future.🤗

That's great! I had to lay down on the Airport floor the other day when traveling. I lost my balance to the point of not even being able to sit in the seats. But if I had been able to pace myself, it wouldnt have gotten that bad. This should help safer recovery too.

I just got a rollator today for my Ehlers Danlos pain/fatigue. It’s been a game changer, even just moving about the house. I’m so glad you feel so free with yours, and I’m glad I finally got the confidence to use one too! It can be rough when you’re young and disabled, because people don’t believe you or give you dirty looks. But I don’t care! I’m gonna use what I need! Best wishes to the both of you. ❤️

My mother had one of these and it was a lifesaver! She was so cute using it, spinning around corners, then she’d abruptly stop and sit down. The lady that I took care of for several years also had one and we took it everywhere we went. I know you’re going to enjoy this and it will be a so helpful during those difficult times.

I am impressed! This makes the difference between saying yes and no! to going somewhere. And the lightweight walker for $400 !!!! I see them at every Goodwill store I go to for like $10 and crutches and canes! I would always look for second hand, If you have to get rid of any of these items you can also donate to your local home health care organization, nursing homes, and dont forget the best of all....homeless shelters!!!

Hi Elizabeth and Bill. I loved seeing this video. This will give you so much freedom and it’s giving me an idea. I’m in my 50’s and I received a pacemaker three years ago. When I stand for very long, even 10 to 15 minutes in a line of any sort, especially when it’s hot, my heart stops and I lose consciousness. What a blessing my pacemaker has been in that it least it restarts my heart for me, but I can still do a lot of damage to myself when I fall. This could be the answer to some of my issues too. 💜 When I know I’ll be standing in line like in an airport, I could use this to sit in while waiting my turn. The way I have.avoided it so far is That I just wait until everyone is on the plane and then I board, but that doesn’t help with the customs lines like you encountered. I’m so happy for you Elizabeth. What a blessing. Betsy

$400 for a walker, from Singapore I can buy one for less than $100. That’s just crazy.
I’ve never seen one with the wheel chair option, that’s awesome! I may just order one for my mom.
    Keep getting better, God bless!

Both my mother and mother-in-law had one of these. It was helpful for my Mom when shopping, especially. It does give you one more level of independence! Both my Moms used theirs for putting things on the seat, to safely bring items to the table, etc. Also, my MIL used hers to sit on when working in the kitchen, when she needed a rest. I am very happy you got this!

The new walker Looks like a great help. The $400.00 cheapo walker is one of the reasons we all are paying a huge amount for health insurance. what a ripoff. Ok done venting :-) Have a great week.
